Nice location, there are huge hotels in this area, probably because the nature looks so nice. The swallows nest is an affordable alternative in a great area. We had some trouble with the reservation of our flight ticket later that week, and the owner helped us out real good. We were very glad we were helped, so thnx again! The...

This was a great location and a great value. It's about 20-30 minutes from Monk's Cowl and close the other destinations in the central Drakensbergs. The breakfast is good and the staff very friendly. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, at least not in mine. It wasn't a big deal because it did work by reception and just outside...

We were put up in Room 2. We were there for one nigh only t to attend a family function in the district. The owner was away for the weekend but the member of staff who signed us in and looked after us was very professional and pleasant.

My Gosh, words cannot begin to explain the gorgeousness of the plan. If you love nature and a garden house you will enjoy this place. It is so peaceful, home away from home and did I mention outrageous. We had only book for one night, Poppet and her lovely receptionist lady prepared a candle lit dinner for us with all...

We attended a friend's wedding in the Drakensberg and used Swallow's Nest as our base and couldn't have asked for more: the reception was warm and friendly and the room reminded of home. Perfect stop.

The small hiuses are very close together and the restaurant is inside the reception. There isnt any fans as it was super hot. Rather stay in another town if you can. Anything is very much on top of everything!

Great location for access to Royal Natal National Park, Cathedral Peak and Champagne Valley. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the town plus Spar and other mini-markets. Bargain car wash! Easy to find on main road into town.

We stayed in a very small room, shower in the room. Toilet not seperated and visible. You could hear everything from your neighbours conversation and anything else, too. Also the two dogs of the premise barking. Make a big circle around that

Good evening, I would like to apologise for the bad experience you had at our B&B. We really don't like it if our guests are unhappy & wish you had spoken to us about everything that worried you so that we could at least have moved you to a different room. We have many guests who love the "open-plan bathrooms...

We loved our stay at Swallows Nest. Poppet was a thoughtful and friendly host, the room was very clean and comfortable and we were just sad that we were only there for one night. It's close to everything and yet quite private and quiet.
