Our first visit to this camp and Cathedral Peak area. We have been to all other Drakensberg camps. We booked a self-catering chalet. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen could be better equipped (no serving spoons or serving dishes), The Weber braai is great. TV: channel selection is poor, no news channel! Restaurant: we did not realise the self-catering option included...

You cannot ask for a more beautiful setting, surrounded by gorgeous mountains, with views of Cathedral Peak, The Horns, The Bell and more right from your doorstep. The cabins are wonderful, we stayed in the 6 bed unit which was huge! Lots of windows, and thatch roof. Each room had it's own balcony, and there was a comfy lounge (also...

The rooms/cabins are quirky - thatched roofs the shape of the Sydney Opera House - high ceilings. We're not talking 5 star, but the setting is breathtaking and the views through the large glass windows of the rooms are perfect. Breakfast and dinner were more than acceptable (great fresh trout, for example) and the staff are extremely sweet. So glad...

Well positioned chalets set apart from each other. Spacious. Clean. Self contained. Breakfast was average, run of the mill. Standard fare. Attended wedding here. Beautiful views from the 'chapel'. Staff could be a little more obliging.. A little grumpy when requests were made of them. But nothing significantly unpleasant. An enjoyable weekend.

Didima has been gifted with the most stunning location in the Northern Drakensberg. The views from every perspective are incredible and the architects are to be commended for their visionary design. Sadly the service does not live up to the dream. C3 catering that manages the restaurant serves up mediocre fare at a snail's pace. Also Pkay Dlamini the housekeeping...

What a great place to stay and enjoy the scenery, ambiance, nearby hiking trails, and wonderful service. We had a most comfortable lodge and delicious breakfast. The accommodations were better than expected with wonderful views of the Drackenberg mountains. Truly relaxing and invigorating too!

Didima is something a little different in a fantastic location. Its the design of the "chalets" that first hits you as you arrive: a real mix of African tradition with contemporary architecture. Works brilliantly. We stayed in a self-caterer but need'nt have bothered. Ate in the restaurant all the time- food was excellent and very reasonable. Perfect place from which...

Obviously the location is unbeatable! Its deep in the Drakensburg area. The views are outstanding. In terms of the location its 10/10. Now the accommodation: The chalets are well equipped. In the non-self catering room, there was a bar fridge-large, tea and coffee as well as the kettle. The chalets are spaced a fair distance from one another so there...

This was our first stop on a long and varied holiday and a great place to relax and get into the holiday mood. We had one of the larger chalets and although some of the decor was a little shabby, it was well equipped and offered great accommodation for four adults. Having stayed at Didima before we can vouch for...
