Just back from a weeks stay at the hotel & I must say, there isn’t much to fault. On arrival staff were polite & helpful, told us being half board we were welcome to switch to lunch at any time & if we wanted to try all inclusive one day it was 25 euros each, which we felt was reasonable. Breakfast was a highlight, fresh smoothies, fresh orange & produce was plentiful. The chefs at the stations each freshly preparing different things, whether it was smoothies or pancakes etc. Loads of breads to choose from as well, one of the best breakfast selections ive had at a hotel. Dinner was above average, there is something for everyone I would say, salad bar is very good, always pizza and pastas & also chicken, fish so really a lot to choose from, my only negative would be then half board having to pay for a soft drink or even water at dinner, breakfast you can have fruit juices, smoothies, coffee, water but at dinner you pay for drinks. Room was beautiful, we had a junior suite which had a huge balcony and amazing shower, unfortunately I found the bed very uncomfortable and it was really noisy, especially since breakfast was at 8, and all you can hear are kids (the hotel has adult only section) my main negative was the cleaning, we were asked once a day or every second and we had to phone twice in that week for a cleaner to top up toilet rolls and to change our towels, another day the room hadn’t been touched and bedding naturally had sand so we had to phone again, not ideal for me personally, I feel fresh towels and a bed being made for the price we pay should be standard. Location for us was spot on, beach is literally behind the hotel, there are 3 gates which your card secures you, and a small lane and you are on the main road, left is beach and quiet, and right is lively, a taxi is around 5 euros to playa del carmen. Hotel has a great range of pools and activities, both for adults and kids. A projector at night also shows movies and quilts and heaters are set up which I thought was a nice touch. Great little gym area also for a small workout after a great breakfast. All in all, we did really like this hotel & we would go back, I think we would only go bed and breakfast but we did have a lovely time and met some lovely people at the hotel.

Dear Laytiin K, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, especially our breakfast, the prime location and the various amenities of the hotel, such as our pools, activities and outdoor cinema. We are also pleased to hear that our team gave you a warm welcome and found the meal plan options appealing. As for your comment about drinks in half board in the Canary Islands, in half board, drinks are not included during dinner service in any hotel, unless you have booked it in advance. As for the comfort of the bed, we are surprised to read that it was not comfortable for you, because we do not usually have this type of complaint, however, we always recommend our guests that, if they have any problems during their stay to let us know, as we want to make sure that every aspect of the stay is impeccable. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and will review these points with our team to improve our service. We are also sorry to hear that the cleanliness of your room was not correct, because they are not the standards of service that we are used to offering. We thank you for letting us know so that we can pass it on to the head of the department. We are happy to hear that you would stay with us again and that you had an overall positive experience. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again in the future to provide you with an even better stay. Best regards, Hotel Sentido ÆQUORA Lanzarote Suites. MI.

It was a late decision to look for a holiday in December and found that this hotel was available at a decent price. We had stayed there before. I emailed the hotel with a room location request and was pleased to find that on arrival we had been allocated a room in our chosen location close to the adult pool and restaurant.
The room was one of their suites which had a second room acting as a small lounge with a TV and a kettle and coffee making machine. You get an initial supply of coffee capsules and tea making ingredients but we were aware of this and took our own. The cups provided are very small too. The seating in the lounge was not very comfortable and was vinyl covered so we did not use it much.
The beds were comfortable and wider than the usual twin beds found in many hotels. You could opt for frequency of room cleaning at check in.
We liked the serenity around the adult pool and found the pool temperature pleasant for swimming. There are other pools in the complex too, one of which has ongoing daily entertainment. We did not go to any of the evening entertainments, though there appeared to be quite a variety on offer. There is also an adults only bar on the complex.
You can opt for early or late sitting in the restaurant, which always got quite busy. There was a decent choice of food to suit all tastes, some evenings had a theme (Sushi was available one night, Mexican another and a Spanish night) but we often found the food was not as hot as we would have liked. I also wonder why there was a far better choice of pastries at breakfast than at dinner time. There was fresh fruit available at all mealtimes.
The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to a Spar shop and the beach is just beyond that as well as bus stops for Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen ( a good 30 minutes walk away).
Just one slight irritant was the ladies appearing everyday either outside the restaurant or around the pools trying to promote massages.

We stayed for 4 nights AI, arrived Friday evening until Tuesday morning, close to airport so we organised a private transfer that took 10mins. This hotel is excellent if you’re looking for either adults only or a family holiday. Our room was ground floor, leading on to a pool that had daily activities, a snack bar and pool table. The room was modern, clean and beds comfy. It was cleaned daily and also had a kettle and coffee machine.
We ate in the family restaurant for breakfast/lunch and chose the adult only restaurant in the evening. Food is served in a buffet style, plenty to choose from and lunches were probably more enjoyable than evening meals. Cava was served at breakfast!
The entertainment team were enthusiastic, organising regular activities, we took part in Aquafit, archery & cocktail making. In the evening the basement bar always had a music act, there was an outdoor seating area for playing cards or just chatting close to gas heaters, the evenings were cooler.
There are 4 pools to choose from, including an adult only bar which leads to a Chill Out Bar perfect for sundowners. There’s also plenty of drinking water stations to top up bottles.
We walked from the hotel grounds, along a pedestrian path to the beachfront, where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Also an opportunity to hire bikes to explore the coastline further at a cost of €12 upwards.
Really enjoyed our long weekend of winter sunshine, blue skies on Sun/Mon/Tues and definitely no blue Monday in Lanzorte!

Our recent stay at this 4-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. There were some nice touches, but also several disappointments that impacted our experience.

Positives:
The junior suite itself was clean, modern, and spacious, and the hotel honored our request for a room in Block 5, near the adults-only area. The breakfast selection was excellent—the best we’ve had recently for a 4-star hotel—with a wide variety of choices, though they could definitely use more coffee machines to cut down on the long waits for hot drinks. The pool was well-maintained and cleaned properly, creating a pleasant environment. Additionally, the complimentary sparkling wine voucher was a nice gesture.

Areas for Improvement:
However, there were some inconveniences that detracted from our stay. A €3 daily fee to use the in-room safe felt unreasonable for a hotel of this rating, and the lack of a smart TV was disappointing. Housekeeping was a major letdown. Despite opting for a “clean every other day” schedule, our room wasn’t cleaned 3 days in, and there was no replenishment of towels, toilet paper, or tea and coffee. Our request to Reception for fresh towels was initially met with abrupt service, and even after waiting an hour, they only arrived after we’d gone out for the evening. The situation repeated the next day, with no cleaning done by 5 PM and no clear answer from Reception except that cleaning staff had left for the day. When cleaning finally happened later that night, it was a partial effort—our bed was hastily made, and essentials like coffee and bathroom supplies weren’t replenished.

Additional Details:
Some smaller details also missed the mark: the cups and saucers provided in the room were grubby, and there were no tissues in the room. Bread at breakfast could have been fresher, though the dining area itself was pleasant.

Overall, while this hotel has potential with its modern suites, great breakfast, and nice atmosphere, the inconsistent housekeeping and lack of attention to service details are issues that need addressing. With a few improvements, it could be a more satisfying experience.

Dear lloydt858, Thank you for sharing your detailed review of your recent stay at our hotel! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of our junior suite, as well as our varied breakfast selection and the friendly pool atmosphere. We are also happy that small details such as the sparkling wine voucher have been to their liking. We sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced: As for the collection of safes, as in most establishments, safes belong to an external company and therefore a charge is made for the service. We understand that you will not like the type of TV we have in the rooms because we cannot meet the tastes of all our guests, although we always try to offer the best service. TVs have different types of channels in different languages so that everyone can enjoy TV. In any case, we appreciate your comment. We were disappointed to read that the cleaning service lived up to your expectations. Know that these are not the standards we work with. That is why we are going to transmit it immediately with the responsible departments to find out what has happened and prevent it from happening again. Your feedback is valuable to us as it helps us identify key areas for improvement. For the whole team it is essential to receive your feedback on your recent stay with us to know the aspects that you consider we need to improve. Thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to share your experience! Best regards, Hotel Sentido Æquora Lanzarote Suite. MI.

This was our first time in lanzarote and what a great hotel we chose, our main reason for going was my wife's birthday, the location was good very quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. I had told the hotel it was my wife's birthday and the manager Erik (who always had time to speak with customers) did everything he could to make it a special occasion. The hotel has 4 pools catering for everyone but we spent most of our time at the adult only pool which also had a chill out area with a bar, by the way the young lad working the bar was very funny. The food was good with plenty of choice and the staff worked so hard to keep everything replenished. The bar staff were great they made sure didn't have to wait long and also brought drinks to your table, specialmention to Caroline who always made us laugh. At reception nothing was to much trouble, they were all very professional, and if you needed a taxi they had one there in around 2 mins the towel service was also great, 15 euros, change it every day and get your 15 euros back at the end of your stay. The whole hotel was spotless from the gardeners tending to the plants to the maids who cleaned the rooms to a very high standard. Every member of staff I came into contact with was so helpful, smiling all the time and looking like they were happy to be there. I would highly recommended this hotel, we've already booked to back.

We have had THE BEST holiday here at this splendid hotel. We stayed half board in a Junior Suite Select. Fully stocked mini bar, coffee machine, kettle etc. brilliant room, very clean and spacious. Housekeeping done everyday, litre bottle water replenished every day too at no charge! We were located in the Adults only area pool and a few steps from the Adult only restaurant which was great as I am not too mobile so was very convenient! we loved the location of the hotel and for €2.80 euros for two people we caught the bus into Puerto del Carmen which was less than 5 minutes but great for me as I can’t walk very far. All The staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing and very helpful and friendly. We are leaving today but we have already booked for next March because we loved it that much. Erik, the Manager has been so helpful with regards to booking the same room which we are so pleased about. Would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return next year!

Strong point of the hotel is its location, close to the airport without any nuisance and close to the beach, about 3 minutes on foot. Second positive point the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel nothing to say as well as the very spacious rooms.
Regarding cleaning, you will be asked to fill out a form to find out the number of times you want cleaning to take place and this is respected.
Point of improvement undoubtedly remains the catering because yes it is not bad but the hotel calls itself 4 stars so for that it is not worth it especially the breakfast with only industrial drinks and very dry pastries. Yes there is choice but not quality it remains very basic which can be compared to a Formula 1 hotel in France. It's a shame.
On the pool side, the concept of several spaces is very appreciable because it avoids the crowds but should be seen in high season. On the other hand, well done because goodbye to the selfish people who try to reserve the deckchairs, their towel is automatically removed
The staff overall is professional and responsive.
The excursions are great and the car rental service on site is very competitive and the cars are well maintained, which is far from being the case in the city.
Overall, a good hotel that allows you to have a great vacation.

We had a mixed experience which was mostly positive. The hotel and pool areas were spotless and cleaning staff were always around- well done to them.
The animation/entertainment team( licia, franscesca and tony) were great also. As a couple with no kids it was great to see it wasn't all directed towards children but to adults also. Great for my husband when he'd get bored of sitting by the pool!
The restaurant staff were very organised and again the place was very clean. Unfortunately though the downside for us was the food. Firstly we were told there were 4 restaurants. This is incorrect. There are 2 restaurants, one which is not included in the all inclusive. The other has a number of different seating areas but all the food is the same regardless where you go. This resulted in a lack of variety and a lot of repetition. We only had one meal that was hot, on our last day when we queued outside for lunch before the restaurant opened. Desserts were poor.

Bar staff were nice but always seemed understaffed. I think they could do with more than 2 people behind the pool bar and evening bar. There is only one beer included in the all inclusive, so if you don't like Amstel, you have to pay for an alternative. I wasn't happy about this considering we paid for all inclusive.
We received a feedback survey half way through the holiday which we returned, and in fairness to Eric the manager he replied to our individual remarks and left a bottle of wine and fresh fruit platter in our room as a thank you. We had also received a voucher on check in for a bottle of cava for our wedding anniversary. Although these items would have been included anyway, it was a lovely gesture.
I had a massage during the week also, partly because the lady came up to me every day and I felt a bit pressured, but I was unsure and she obviously picked up on that! What I was unsure about was the price as I get a better deal at home and considered just waiting- but she gave me a discount which was appreciated. I may sound like we didn't want to spend money- but we didn't, because we paid for all inclusive. Unfortunately it wasn't "all" inclusive as their was an additional AI plus who had their own bar and extra drinks included. One night we did order a drink after 2300 (they don't accept cash/card so we had to charge it to the room. Upon paying the bill, 2 beers (amstel) cost us 15.60 (madness).
The external entertainment was only ok, it wasnt bad. In the evenings in the bar we would have enjoyed some little snacks like a bowl of nuts or crisps but again you had to pay for pringles. No other options available.

There a few little extra touches that could bring up the standard a little but all in all it was a lovely hotel, with a choice of pools, fun animation team, spotless rooms, restaurant and pool areas. The reception staff were also very friendly and we got a lovely induction when we were checking in.

Dear Suzie, We thank you very much for the time you have spent sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness of our facilities, the organization of the restaurant, the variety of swimming pools and, above all, the friendliness of our team, including the entertainment and reception staff. Your words will be shared with them, as they will certainly appreciate your recognition. As for what you mention about restaurants, it is true that we have 4 dining rooms: The Don Paco restaurant (free for the all-inclusive Æquora Lanzarote suites), the dining room of the Poseidon buffet, Neptune and Atlantis. It is true that, in these last 3, the food is the same because we already have a wide variety of foods and our intention is that everyone enjoys the same food. We were disappointed to learn that the food was repetitive and that you did not like the desserts, so we will transfer you to the responsible department. It is true that, in the all-inclusive regime, there are some drinks that have an extra cost, but the reason is because, as you say, there is the all-inclusive AE+ which includes more drinks. You can always change your regime if you wish during your stay if you were looking for more variety of drinks. We are happy to know that our team tried to make your stay more special with small gestures such as the bottle of cava for your anniversary and the detail in your room. We value your suggestions and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to provide you with an even better experience. We appreciate you mentioning those points that you consider we must improve as this helps us to continue improving our services. We are happy to know that our team tried to make your stay more special with small gestures such as the bottle of cava for your anniversary and the detail in your room. We value your suggestions and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to provide you with an even better experience. Best regards, Hotel Sentido ÆQUORA Lanzarote Suites. MI.

Lots of positives about this hotel. We travelled as a family group of 11 - ages ranging from 3yrs to 70 years.
A good standard of cleanliness, staff really helpful and friendly, food is exceptionally good. It is ideally situated near the beach and other amenities . A good programme of activities and quality entertainment.
However, the sun loungers, at the main pool, were too cramped - literally side by side which made access difficult and felt slightly uncomfortable to be soooo near complete strangers.
Kids mini disco was in the Kid’s club area with very little seating facilities or a bar for the adults - not much wonder that it wasn’t well patronised - I don’t know why it wasn’t in the main theatre.
There was a sign to say you couldn’t order more than 2drinks each to avoid creating long queues. Silly rule as either you had to queue twice extending the queue or more than one person had to queue up - again extending the queue . What’s that all about!!!!
The facilities for late check out are not good enough. Checkout is 12 noon and you can extend your room checkout until 3/4 pm for 50 euros. Our pick up was 7pm so that wasn’t appropriate. There is 1 courtesy shower available for booking in advance in 30 min slots and the only time available for us was 3.30 - 4pm too early. Come on - that is not sufficient or good enough for a 4 star hotel.
The worst issue for us was that we were not allowed to sit together as a family - allegedly safety issues for the staff (in a self service restaurant???) We have been travelling annually as a family for 12 yrs now - the family has extended and we have always sat together at other hotels. We were all inclusive guests, there were tables of 8 and 4 in the restaurant ( the main area was never full and looked a bit like a staff canteen ) but we weren’t allowed to put the tables together to enjoy a family meal.
This could be an excellent venue for a family holiday but, as it is, we wouldn’t return

Dear Hilary, Thank you so much for letting us know that the food, cleanliness and staff made your stay at our hotel enjoyable. On the one hand, we appreciate your comment about pool sunbeds, although we have the right number of sunbeds in each pool so that all our guests have their place in the pools. However, we will transfer your feeling to the hotel management. As for drinks in the bars, we have as a rule two drinks per person so that the service is not overloaded and the wait is longer. If this is not done, most customers order too many drinks at once and the queue does not move forward. We are sorry to hear that the latter has not been to your liking, as well as what you say about the late check out room, but for the reservation of the courtesy room we are subject to the availability of the same, since it is booked in advance. As for what you mention about the tables in the restaurant, we don't do this to annoy you, it's for the simple reason that if we allow all the families and groups to sit together we won't be able to offer the same great service that we've always tried to offer. Whenever we hear that we have a big family or a group of people, our restaurant mates do their best to set the tables next to each other or as close as possible, but instead of 1 large table, 2 tables of 8. It is very important that we are informed in order to organize it. As with any other place, they will always tell you that the ideal is to let you know in advance how many people are in the group. If we had known, we could have informed you of the protocol that is carried out when receiving groups, and your disappointment could have been avoided. From what our catering partners have informed us, they have tried to do everything possible to meet your needs. We are sorry if we couldn't. Once again, thank you for sharing your review. We hope that despite everything, you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. Best regards, MI.

Stayed in January 2024 as a family of four and really enjoyed our stay (2 adults, 4 year old and a 1 year old). The hotel is a great location, 5-10 min drive from the airport, 5 min drive from the zoo and 5 min walk from the beach and bars and restaurants.

Upon arrival we were checked in swiftly and helped to our room with the bags. The room is a unique layout as per the pictures but it worked fine for us.

Pool areas are great, 4 in total with one of them adults only. The children's one is great for children of all ages, ours loved it.

Food and drink was as you would expect from an all-inclusive, a good selection and served by helpful staff.

Entertainment was a real highlight of our stay. Each night there was a show on in theater bar and a singing act in the main bar, all of which was to a good standard. The animation team are the stars of the hotel, they keep everyone entertained and go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great time. In particular Cecil and Christina who were amazing with our children.

The only slight negatives or possible improvements; Lilos/floats were banned from the pool for a few days. No one seemed to understand why especially when there is an adult only pool if people didn't want children playing around them.

No air con available in the room during the winter months, given the heat this can be needed at times.

Cleaners, occasionally cleaned the room late in the afternoon meaning we sometimes just took new towels off them instead. They also binned some of our snacks, presumably mistaking these for rubbish given it they were stored in a carrier bag.

Otherwise, great hotel, in a great location with great staff.

Dear Dan281089, Thank you for sharing your experience at our hotel. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your family stay and that you found our convenient location, close to the airport, the beach, bars, restaurants and the zoo. It's great to know that the check-in process was quick and that our team helped them with the bags to their room. We are happy to hear that the pool areas were to your liking, especially the children's pool, and that your children enjoyed it very much. We are also pleased that the food and drink of the all-inclusive service met their expectations, and that the evening entertainment was a highlight of their stay. We are very grateful for your kind words about our animation team, especially Cecil and Christina, who went the extra mile to make their children happy. We take note of your comments about the mats and floats in the pool, as well as the lack of air conditioning during the winter months. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cleaning schedule and the confusion with your snacks. We will make sure to improve in these aspects to make future stays even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you again for your positive and constructive feedback. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to continue creating unforgettable memories. Until next time! Best regards, MI.
