Nestled close to the beach and local amenities, Relaxia Lanzaplaya is often lauded for its friendly staff, well-maintained pools, and comfortable rooms. While the central location is a highlight for guests seeking both excitement and tranquility, some have mentioned the need for improved Wi-Fi and better sunbed availability. The hotel's atmosphere strikes a balance between lively entertainment and relaxed comfort, although opinions vary on vibrancy and decor. Despite some concerns over room cleanliness and noise, the overall sentiment suggests a satisfying stay for those seeking value and convenience.

Hi checked in to this hotel on 7th Feb staff lovely and always smiling but only good point is where the hotel is situated great for strip only 2 min walk .Right bus drops you down road from hotel and if you dont ask driver where to go your just dumped and not shown .Rooms spacious nothing wrong there only trouble is we stayed a week and sheets where changed next day so after that you don’t see another clean sheet asked for more sheets got told no .Towels are only changed every othqer day if ya lucky. We went all inclusive well that what we thought you could only get beer wine or soft drinks if you wanted cocktails you had to pay for them . pool food and ice creams you also had to pay for I always thought these came in as all inclusive. REP well what a greeting we got from her we saw heron Saturday she informed us she had a massive hang over and sore throat from night before and hadn’t had a lot of sleep to me that is her fault and not very professional didn’t find her very helpful at all asked about markets and she gave us a book to look at . we went with jet 2 and I think they need to go back to this hotel so they can let customers know the truth about what to expect at this hotel .Food well don’t know where to start if you like cold food believe you will like it here didn’t get one hot meal only when we had food out as food is terrible.I know you probably think I’m ranting but believe me the only thing going for this hotel is it’s location

Stayed here for 10 nights with my friend and absolutely loved it. We’re already looking at booking back here again for next year.

The room was fab, clean and plenty of space. We were in a first floor room and loved our balcony, we had the most amazing views. Straight ahead was the mountains and the ocean to the left we had another ocean view. We also over looked the pool area.

The pool/bar was brilliant, had to be early to get a sun lounger as they were snapped up pretty quickly. Pool was clean and cold but well appreciated for a nice dip to cool off. Pool bar was open from 10am until 11pm.

The restaurant was great, we were always able to find something to eat, I loved that there was the option of eating outdoors and having an ocean view for this too.

All of the staff we met were amazing, the cleaning team work so hard, the restaurant and bar staff work some long hours and always had a smile on their faces for you. The reception team were great too. Check in was quick and all covid info was given and paperwork checked. They took out temp at check in too. When we were leaving we asked if they could print out our PLF and negative pre departure results, this was done with no fuss for us.

Location of the hotel is perfect, we were just set back one street away from the middle of the main strip in PDC, but didn’t have any of the noise you’d expect being so close to the late night bars/clubs. There was a Spar shop at the bottom of road and tons of bars/restaurants and shops.

Covid wise, masks had to be worn in the hotel at reception, in the restaurant while moving around and also whilst being served at the pool bar. There was hand sanitiser available all around the hotel and the team kept everywhere clean and tidy. Outside of the hotel, masks had to be worn in shops and whilst moving around inside bars/restaurants. All had hand sanitiser available and staff were amazing at keeping everywhere clean. My friend and I felt so much more safer in and around the hotel than we do back at home.

I can not find fault with Relaxia Lanzaplaya at all and we can not wait to return!!

This was my first holiday in a long time. My wife and her friend had visited Lanzarote 3 weeks ago. So I took the bull by the horns and decided I required a break as well.
All inclusive was the way I wanted to go no worries and as long as you got the correct place it's fine. I had after a day narrowed it down to 3 Hotels.
This one came tops for location which is basically just about a 2 minute leisurely walk to the promenade.
The staff were all very friendly and nothing was a problem on arrival the room that was issued to us was in the shade and my wife loves the sun. I asked could we be moved and they checked and indeed moved us to a different room. I had paid extra for a Sea view and I must admit it was very good. The only thing is there are about 12 or so very steep steps up to your front door. So if mobility is an issue just remember this.
Of the staff three stood out to me one was the barman who was married to an Argentine women. He was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The other was a young girl with a tattoo of a palm tree and the sun on her arm who was very helpful and quite funny and always smiling. The last person was a Life Guard who was fantastic with all the clients, he also kept the beds clean by power hosing them and while checking the pool would collect empty glasses around the pool. He never seemed to stop even helping the barman at times. He was French as far as I know and whatever happens hopefully he never leaves as he is a true asset to the company.
The rooms are quite basic but spotless and kept spotless. The only issue would be the bathroom door which is frosted glass and it was never 100% closed. This is only a very small issue that would effect very few people.
The food was fantastic and you could always find something to eat and plenty of it. The drink was very good indeed and I was surprised to find that the beer was Tropical and it's a good enough beer.
My wife said that this Hotel stood head and shoulders above the one she was in three weeks ago and that's was on every issue especially location.
The only issue was night life but I was there over the world cup so really unless you liked football everywhere was the same including the pubs on the promenade.
Would I return 100% would I recommend it to anyone yes again 100%.
Hope to see you all again in the near future.

Went her on 31st january 2019. Met up with friends. We have been to all inclusive many times. This facility is very limited. No pools side snacks unless you pay extra. Only availability for drinks is poolside during the day. If weather is poor you are restricted to the restuarant.
Entertainment at night is very basic. When time to finish at end of the night the person in charge of entertainment turned of the lights. This was distressing for guests some of whom were elderly. One guest nearly fell over a table. No windows in place so really dark. She proceeded to turn lights off on another two occasions even although people were upset. I complained to management and was given an extra a la cart meal. The eleven other guests in our group were not given an appology. The waiter got the menus mixed up on the first occasion that 6 of us went to a la cart restuarant the menus were different numbers for pork medallions. He got chicken. Were were told there was no pork left so had to swap around. The waiter didnt understand english. He came and lifted all our drinks at 9.30 saying the were now closed.
We kept having to come back to reception as keycard wouldnt work in room. Basic info about not putting near mobile phone would have helped. Staff never smilled and were deliberatly obtuse. I asked reception about busses to teguise. She told us to get off at Aricife but we did not have to do this as it was a straight through bus. Overall i would not use this hotel again. The plus points are cleaning staff are very hardworking, and its conveniently just off the main drag, there is a Spar at the bottom of road. Guests were friendly and quite a nice vibe at times around the pool.

Just come back from a week at Relaxia Lanzaplaya, loved it here.

Very friendly staff from check in to check out, a special mention for the very young waiter who was always friendly and efficient, welcoming us with a lovely smile.

Food was good, reasonable amount of choice and cooked to a good quality, plenty of seafood and grill station where at least one meat and type of fish cooked freshly in front of you, coffee out of a machine, ok but not great. Tables were not always laid up that quickly but we just got into the habit of picking up cutlery from the tray as you enter the dining room, the staff here are much more relaxed than that of the sister hotel at the resort, and we find the Lanzaplaya has a much nicer friendlier vibe in our opinion. Make a lovely Sangria in the restaurant, the pool one is on draft and way too strong to be enjoyable, i got separate orange juice and mixed the two.

Very central hotel. up a small slope not a big hill like many of the hotels at the resort, if you cut through by the entrance to the spar which is a minute or so away from the hotel, you find yourself on the strip but you don't hear
any noise from the strip at the hotel itself. Centre of the strip, lots of bars, restaurants around to either side - Capri Italian very good food and good value about 5 mins walk to the left once you're on the strip, just pass that lovely rooftop cocktail bar called Serenity, also a nice cocktail bar down by the side of the casino and Long Beach Club is to the right of the hotel once you're on the strip and makes a lovely pina colada.

Towels can be hired for the pool and beach at 10 Euros, refundable when you return them.

There is a small airconditioned gym - you get the key at reception

Lovely atmosphere around the pools and pool bar, quite a few families with small children and older couples and a few in-between . A little entertainment in the day, saw a darts match and ping pong match going on and had a few singers in.

On the day we left we were able to book a shower room to use later in the day and you are allowed to use the facilities including the restaurant until you leave. There is also a luggage room that you can use.

Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back x

I checked in for 6 days on Wednesday 1st September; I had a sea view room with the bed and breakfast option. Check inn was excellent: fast, hassle free and the staff where lovely. The breakfast was hot and selection.

Location - the location I’d actually perfect a spa and a local supermarket within 1 minute walk. The hotel is also a 2 minute walk from the front of Puerto del carmen and the beach. Location cannot be any better.

Pool area- the pool is great! Very deep for swimming and lots of room. There are 3 pools. The pool area is very clean and relaxed and is perfect for getting a tan. It’s very relaxed by the pool and always a spare sun bed.

Rooms- I had a sea view room and it was amazing! Cleaned daily and the view from the balcony was stunning, aircon is free and a safe is only around 3 euros per day. Can’t fault the rooms at all and the view from the balcony is worth it.

Overall I would 100% come back to this hotel and I will be very sad to leave tomorrow. I will be back at some point in the future! Excellent for couples also!

Plus points... lovely hotel, rooms spotless, kitchen has toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, even provides washing up liquid and sponge. Close to beach two minutes walk. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Food was ok but I'm very fussy so not alot of choice for me however I always found something I liked. Hubby loved the food. Pool area lovely, staff lovely. Negative points... only halfs served at the bar, you had to pay for food at bar and cocktails even if you are A/I. Entertainment was poor. Tuesday was bingo, just one game, we won a kiss from the life guard !! The entertainment lady was lovely and really tried to get people involved in yoga, cocktail making by the pool etc. Overall I would return, we had a lovely time.

Stayed here all inclusive for 5 days. Food good, fresh salads, variety of hot foods on the buffet, each day the chef freshly cooked a meat dish (usually pork chops) and fish fillets on the grill in the restaurant. Restaurant self service, you go to the bar to order drinks so no waiter service.
Pool bar served selection of drinks. Cocktails not great as all from a machine, but the barman was happy to mix drinks on request (great service from both bar staff).
Towels for around the pool available to hire at €10 each which was refunded at the end of the stay. Charge for room safe (few € per day).
Service received at reception depended on who was working. One lady rather abrupt and downright rude on a number of occasions.
There’s table tennis available, although we didn’t find it until the day we were leaving (it’s hidden in a corner). 2 pool tables available at €1 a game next to the swimming pools. Swimming pools freezing (June) there’s also a small jacuzzi pool which was also cold.
Hotel is in a great location; short walk to the beach and shops.
Paid extra for a sea view, disappointed as due to hotel location was more a partial sea view (see pics) would have been better getting a side sea view as those rooms had sun in the afternoon/evening.
Rooms serviced 5 out of 7 days a week, towels and linen changed twice a week.
Rooms had air con (separate units/controls in bedroom and living room). Room had small kitchen area which was an added bonus.
They had a room for evening entertainment but didn’t use it, it was held outside by the pool bar so evenings could get a little chilly.
Daytime entertainment was intermittent. When we were there, lots happening Monday, but then nothing for a few days.
Transfer: transfer from the airport was included with our Jet2 booking. We waited around half an hour on the coach for others to arrive (after lugging our cases a reasonable distance across the carpark) and we were then the 7th to be dropped off (due to one way/narrow streets) if going again I would skip the transfer and jump in a taxi outside the main doors, for around €20 you’d get to the hotel over an hour earlier.

The decor of the hotel is lovely. All furniture looks fairly new and matches throughout the full resort (lobby, music bar, rooms etc). The pools are lovely and always looked clean. All inclusive drinks were your cheaper spirits, wines etc and also 4 cocktails. The other cocktails (in which you could pay for) were also cheaper for the all inclusive, they were €4 instead of €6 and 2 for €6 at happy hour. The food at breakfast and dinner were great. Full breakfast everyday (with different variations of sausages, hashbrowns etc on different days) alongside pancakes, pastries, fruit… We personally felt like there were less options on an evening and so we decided to eat out most nights. (We tried the all inclusive twice and both times were a bit disappointed). They seemed to have a lot of fish options. The a la carte was great though, definitely recommend paying a visit. The evening entertainment wasn’t great, meaning most people visit the strip instead. The music bar is huge and could have potential if proper entertainment was put on. We thought our room was great. Side sea view room, very spacious, cleaned 5-6 times a week. We didn’t have a problem with the steps. It does make it a little harder when you have your suitcases but it didn’t affect our stay. The staff are lovely, couldn’t fault any of them. Always friendly and willing to help. Told the receptionist it was my boyfriends birthday and they put a bottle of Prosecco in the room. The hotel is like a minutes walk to the strip & beach which is ideal. If the entertainment and all inclusive meals had improvement, the hotel could probably reach another star. But overall I would definitely stay again and we had a great 10 days here😊

Check in wasn't until 2 in the afternoon but me and my boyfriend got there for just after 12 and we were fine to check in. The room was adequate, the sink would not drain from the moment we got there, with the tap on the sink just filled. The shower plug looked a bit scabby.. Not very many english channels on the tv had to listen to kiss fm for the full holiday as that was the only one we recognised. Other than that the room is fine beds comfy places to hang clothes- toaster, kettle, fridge, in the kitchen. Air con in room. There was also a safe in the room but it took us a few days to find. Terrace was nice but didn't have much of a view just trees but they were nice trees i suppose. We kept the sign on so housekeepers didn't enter our room however they came to us most days to check we had everything. The pools are decently sized and are clean the only thing that annoyed us was how it says you cannot reserve sun beds and when we went after 10 ish, most of the sun beds were already occupied with towels but most people not there. We started going for breakfast and then going to put the towel down on our last couple of days because we thought if other people are doing it then why not us and there was still not many left at 9. Most of the towels there you wouldn't see anyone for the majority of the day which is annoying as we could have gotten into a better place its as if people think we'll leave these towels here for IF we want to come to the pool later, but then there's all the people who are planning on being there all day that have to go right in the corner or away from the pool. Wifi was not great at all, couldn't get any bars unless you sat outside on the terrace and even then it was off and on every 2 minutes. Breakfast was ok i only ate the same things every morning because i'm fussy but i'm sure everyone else would be fine. On the whole it's a good resort there's just a few things that knock it back.
