Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Semeli Hotel is located only 5 min from the aiport and offers so many amenities! The pool has a variety of day beds, and we came during "off season" with plenty of space. Breakfast in the morning is well-stocked, with made-to-order omelots, lots of pastries, rice pudding, eggs, and breads. The bar has excellent service, Youseff stands out as being extremely personable and giving recommendations for local restaurants. Coffee orders at the bar were so yummy in the morning. The front desk is able to call for a taxi from the hotel to airport, 20 euros each way.

Wow !! Sooo many positives here. I’ll try and focus on the huge plus points . Location is amazing. On the edge of the town but walking distance to everything. No need for a car or taxi and hotel provides a great shuttle to/from airport (10 Euro P/P). Breakfast is excellent with great choices and views over the pool. Breakfast also runs till noon which is a great bonus. Pool and sun beds are great. Nice cool music piped in too. All very relaxing 😎 Rooms Agee great too. We had the garden views which had some lovely terrace areas, and a nice patio. Then finally the staff and service was awesome!! There’s nothing not to like here .. huge 5 stars

Beautiful facility. Wonderful location. Kind staff. Mykonos was welcoming, charming and easy to navigate at this time of year (04/01-04/03). Plenty of restaurants and shops were open and in easy walking distance to Semeli. Yussef and Christophe at the restaurant and bar were most welcoming. Front desk team seemed stressed at times and less than friendly— only complaint.

We had a fantastic week at this beautiful property. First, the staff is absolutely amazing! So warm, friendly, and attentive. We were always greeted like family and our absolute favorites were Chris and Youssef! The property is perfection down to every detail, immaculate and tasteful decor. The common areas were incredible, great patio dining and pool with sun beds. We had a spacious suite with private patio and jacuzzi, everything we could have asked for. Breakfast buffet was included daily and served until 12noon! There was a wide variety of freshly made hot breakfast dishes plus lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, pastries, meats & cheeses. Lastly, LOCATION - the best!!!! So easy to walk everywhere in Mykonos Town but still quiet and peaceful. 10/10 recommend, you will not be disappointed!!

Best trip I ever had in my life!! Everything from the staff, food, drinks, and entertainment was top tier. Everyone was so kind and helpful but the trip makers for me were Chris and Youssef. Handsome men with killer smiles and huge hearts. They were beyond amazing! Though Chris is the manger (best to ever do it) He is very hands on and makes the best drinks to ever pass my lips. Order the espresso martini and thank me later. As for Youssef, whatever he suggests, do yourself a favor and agree. His palate, attention to detail and service is like no other I’ve ever encountered. Already planning my next trip back this year and strongly thinking about packing it all up and moving here lol. They will forever be in our hearts. We came in as guest and left as family. Love them all forever and always.

The hotel is beautiful and in a very convenient location to downtown Mykonos. The staff were warm and friendly. They are very accommodating. Breakfast was Devine. The pool and quiet atmosphere was just what we were looking for (during the off season). I highly recommend this hotel and am already planning a return trip.

Yousef was absolutely amazing. From the cocktail suggestions, to the entertainment. Hands down just a good time. I wouldn’t want to spend my time with any other bartender. Thank you for the experience.

Semeli was the BEST hotel we stayed at in all of Greece! The staff was so kind and became like family from the 1st day that we stayed there. Youssef was an incredible bartender that had so much information about the history of Greece, Greek mythology and was a wealth of information about every restaurant in Mykonos! Julio served us breakfast everyday and remembered the kind of coffee that we liked, brought us water and made the best espresso martinis! Eleni & Elisa at the front desk were very kind, helpful and even allowed us to check out late when our flight was delayed. Kornilios was the driver that spent time with us and showed us kindness every day! The breakfast was the best brunch buffet and the nice chef made us eggs that were perfect! Serge was our waiter who was professional and kind and very knowledgeable about each dish. Our room was unbelievable with a spa on the patio. It may sound strange but the shower will blow your mind! You’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it. Haha! I will NEVER stay at any other hotel in Mykonos because you can’t top the perfection at Semeli! And, the price was very reasonable for the 5 star quality that you receive. We will be returning next year just to visit the staff at Semeli!!

What a fabulous place! in a great location - the main town and sea front with its artisan shops, boutiques, and waters-edge harbour restaurants is a 5 minute stroll through pretty cobbled walkways. We were blown away by the stylish décor and laid back vibe - even the piped chill-out music played throughout the day was very tasteful and complimented the relaxing atmosphere. Our room, with all the mod-cons, was comfortable, the pool area was lovely, and the attractive grounds beautifully maintained. Breakfast was exceptional with a huge variety of healthy (and not so healthy! but temptingly delicious) options, that remained available until midday. The bar menu lunch offering was, to my delight, uncomplicated and of very good quality, and the bar staff friendly and super accommodating. In fact all the staff were brilliant. It's rare to find standards this high in the catering and hospitality industry, especially among younger employees. Last but not least, special mention to Nikita who was ultra helpful and who our daughter befriended, and 'moo-moo' the cat who befriended our daughter. We had such a lovely time. Thank you!
