Such a lovely hotel in Mykonos town. We only stayed 1 night but i definately could have stayed longer. We arrived into Mykonos and has such a lovely and welcome greeting from this hotel and the staff. There was some confusion, i don't recall what now, but they gave us a bottle of wine.... You can walk into Mykonos town it is only about 15 min walk, the walk there is easy all down hill. The walk home is a bit more difficult. The staff was helpful as well, as we came back through Mykonos on our way home. They let us keep our luggage with them for the day, and arranged for an airport transfer. There was a small pool and lots of rooftop place to sit and chill. The terrace has a bar and it where breakfast was served as well. I would go back again.

We Stayed from Aug 17-21 and this wonderful hotel. They had a rental car ready for us and a map with everything that we needed and their suggestions which I might say were on point! The staff are simply the nicest people we have ever encountered and the location is not even 5 min from the town. Sunsets are the best at this hotel! It is simply stunning! They even have Laundry service which for us came in handy as we were in Greece for a month. One of my favorite hotels and my favorite island so far!

We had 3 nights at the Madalena Hotel. I’d happily recommend it and would stay here again. We had a great stay here and it was an excellent base for exploring Mykonos. LOCATION: Located just outside Mykonos Town, it was a short 10 minute walk downhill to the harbour and old town. Of course, it’s uphill on the way Bach from dinner but the slope is gradual and steady, not suddenly steep. ROOM: Our room was was spacious enough that our large bags could be easily put aside. Decor was attractive, and the bathroom looked new and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely balcony with a bright crimson bougainvillea and a sea view. The only drawback was that there were a lot stairs up to the lobby and then more up to our room. Staff carried our bags up for us which made a huge difference. In hindsight, I could have asked for a room on a lower level, although we did have a very good view from up high. SERVICE: Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Someone was always available in reception to help with local knowledge, useful tips and recommendations. They were very thorough. Right from the start, they gave us a good map of the town and highlighted various restaurants and sights on it. Before we arrived, they were quick to reply to emails (which is always a good sign). There were also a number of small details which made a difference. For example, the complimentary toiletries were very nice quality, particularly the body milk. Also a large bottle of water was provided in our room every day - this was really helpful. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was included and this was by far the best breakfast we had during our time in Greece. Every morning we lingered over the generous buffet breakfast, which included cereal, juice, fruit, thick Greek yoghurt, cold meats & cheeses, hot bacon, a couple of different options for eggs, and a good selection of breads, cakes and pastries. I looked forward to the orange syrup cake each morning - it was delicious. There was seating both inside and outside, along a covered balcony. The balcony tables were the best but there weren’t that many of them. Fortunately we were able to sit here each morning and enjoy a lovely, long, slow breakfast with a view of the sea. POOL: The pool was only small but it wasn’t much-used so we found it a quiet and relaxing area to sit with our books. We were there in June when the water was still cold so it may be much more crowded in the height of summer. GETTING THERE: We pre-booked the hotel transport which was waiting for us when we arrived at the port. This was €20 for the two of us and was by far the easiest way to get to the hotel, especially as we arrived at night.

Very good service. Friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and every morning we received a large bottle of water. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of salty and sweet to choose from. The orange cake is marvelous!!! It melts in your mouth. We arrived late afternoon; our transport left us outside on the street with all the luggage. There was no sign to indicate where was the reception. We had to call the hotel and a person came to pick us up and the luggage which had to be climb three set of stairs. I wish they put a sign outside “Reception, please go up the stairs to your left “

This was our first visit to Mykonos and I am glad we decided to stay at the Madalena Hotel. The host Saxis is an absolute legend. His welcoming nature and advice about where to go and where to eat was outstanding. Not to mention his ability to write on the local map upside down in English. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were excellent. The views were amazing and there is a lovely sheltered pool for all guests to enjoy The Hotel bar has a great selection of beverages and they also make a great coffee. The breakfast buffet, all of which is home made, was beyond amazing. I can not recall a better one anywhere The young barman Kostas was fabulous. A great personality who provided next level service and was good fun. It is a very short walk to Mykonos town and Saxis also arranges any transfers you require. I can not recommend this Hotel enough. It is awesome. 10 out of 10.

Truly, a great find. I loved everything about this hotel from the location to the staff to the accommodations. The only drawback for us were all the steps. There were 26 steps from the road up to reception and another 26 steps up to our accommodations. 52 steps multiple times a day, and most of the time without a handrail. My friend who I was traveling with, has a knee issue and if I had been aware of all the steps, I probably would’ve booked someplace else. However, she muscled through it. But older travelers should be aware of all the steps. On the other hand, we love that room. Love the view. Love the staff. Love the breakfast. We were directed to a wonderful restaurant five minutes away, and truly had the best meal of our two week stay in Greece. Mviews is the name I believe.

From collection from airport to hotel to the drop off at the port our stay has been incredible. Thank you to Sakis, Antonio and all the other staff. We were so lucky on arrival to have an island map and suggested places to visit and eat at. Also complimentary drink and we were extremely lucky to have a room upgrade over looking the sea. Plus best view for the sunset. Mini bar and nespresso coffee plus water bottle in rooms on arrival. The breakfast and drinks are incredible and staff so kind and friendly. Pool is also lovely, enjoyable swim and relax. Best hotel for views and location. Had the most perfect stay and will recommend and be back. Thank you 💙

Everything about this hotel is absolutely brilliant. The staff are great and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. We were met by a very enthusiastic receptionist who explained everything we needed to know about Mykonos and had our bags carried up to our room. The room was very clean and with room service every day changing towels etc. Breakfast is an amazing buffet with more than anyone could want ranging from yogurt and fruit, cold meats, cooked eggs, bacon , omelettes etc. Plenty of cake etc. This is definitely one of the highest quality hotels we have stayed at in Greece and thoroughly enjoyed our few days stop over. Thank you all.
