We have visited many of the Greek islands over the years but Mykonos was undiscovered territory for us. Hotel Tagoo has the most perfect location – superb views & sunsets, tranquil, relaxing and only 10 mins to walk to the town. Our room boasted both a sheltered terrace (Mykonos can be very windy) and a separate balcony area. Our room was bright and modern with a huge, extremely comfortable bed and daily housekeeping, including a daily bed linen & towel change, was provided by a gentle & considerate Greek lady. The pool and bar are the hub of the hotel and are extremely well kept & relaxing. However, I must say, like so many other guests, it was the superb staff with their warm & friendly care that ensured we will return. I would like to especially thank “Gregarious” George, host and bartender extraordinaire for making us feel so welcome & special, “Gentle” George for his kind & attentive care and last but not least, joyful little Jo to whom nothing was too much trouble and finally, as Arnold Schwarzenegger famously alleged “I’ll be back!”

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at Hotel Tagoo in early June and we quickly realized why the hotel had such rave reviews. The staff here is incredible and genuinely welcoming (especially the 3 George's) and you cannot beat the views from the pool / bar at sunset. Located just outside of Mykonos Town, it was a quick walk to everything. Highly recommend this property.

I spent a week here in September and it was lovely with the most joyous and caring staff. Other hotels were thousands of dollars a night so I was a bit scared wondering why Tagoo was so reasonably price... turned out to be the best holiday ever!

Even after six nights I was not bored and kept finding places to visit, things to see, where to eat, beach parties, and the best part of this hotel was the amazing pool with sea view. Also really like the authentic Greek food and dancing on the "Greek night". Will come back next summer holiday.

Wow wow WOW! What a fantastic 5 days we had staying at this lovely hotel. We landed late but we were greeted with a smile and a cocktail from the lovely George. It was dark when we arrived so the beautiful location of this hotel was not seen until we opened our room door in the morning...absolutely breathtaking! and when you think it couldn't get any better, just wait until the sunset!

Although the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the bars in little Venice we much preferred watching the sunset at the hotel away from the madness in town. On our last evening George organised us a private dinner on the roof top to watch the sunset, it really was picture postcard perfect.

The other guests were lovely and George entertained us all in the evenings with drinks and music. He is an asset to the hotel. As are all the members of staff. House keeping are working extremely hard in the hot weather but always happy and smiling.

Rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. But we would have been happy to sleep on a sun lounger if it meant seeing that view again!

We can't wait to come back and visit! Thank you Hotel Tagoo for lifetime memories!

Our first time to Hotel Tagoo, and what an experience. Just 10 minute walk to Little Venice, and many, many restaurants to otherwise choose from. Car rental nearby but the highlight is the hotel. Very comfortable, AMAZING views from the pool deck and bar where you are served breakfast. Breakfast was outstanding with many, many choices (hot, cold), served at the time of your choice. The staff at the hotel go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They offer you blankets if you are chilly, we had a problem with the TV in our room, immediately provided another room for us. They have a bar right at the pool, and have their own menu for food choices. George (who is from Crete) is one of those amazing personalities, larger than life, full of energy, optimism and warmth. He made our stay at Tagoo that much more memorable. Rooms are very comfortable, and meet all your basic needs, and looks like the hotel was recently totally refreshed as everything was spotlessly clean. Just a wonderful way to spend our few days in Mykonos, thank you Tagoo, hope to be back soon.

Let's start with the bad stuff, the location, as previous reviewers have said it is at the top of a hill, but then again that's how you get great views, so if you are not reasonably fit then just bear that in mind when coming here. Also, there are a fair number of steps around the hotel, just saying.
That's the bad stuff but if that's not put you off then you're in for a treat. When we were dropped off at the hotel we were welcomed by George and Jo who were so welcoming and delightful and very soon we were in our room. This was a side sea view room and in the morning what a treat met our eyes. Small patio overlooking the bay, beautiful, the room itself was very clean as was the bathroom, my one little problem was that there wasn't too much storage space, but other than that, perfect. Cleaned every day and new towels provided by another important member of the hotel team, the cleaner, lovely lady.
Went for breakfast , another treat, this is served around the pool area, again, lovely views over the bay, Jo and George (another one) were there to serve a great breakfast of hot and cold food. Great choice, suitable for everyone, cereal, pastries, fruit, small selection of hot food, great start to the day. If you decide to laze by the pool then George 2 is on hand supplying towels, rearranging beds, serving drinks, he's never still what a credit.
The sunset in the evening is stunning, another advantage of being higher up and another selling point for the hotel. Sadly, our holiday came to a quick end and the staff were on hand to send you on your way, we felt we were leaving as part of the family not a client and that does make this hotel team even more special. For us, the hill was a chance for exercise, as were the steps in the hotel, and not too much of an inconvenience, the location and staff make this hotel so, don't let the hill put you off having a great stay in a lovely hotel.

My sister and I went on our very first holiday as just the two of us and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. We chose this hotel based of the fantastic reviews and amazing views: it couldn’t have been more spot on. Yes it’s a brilliant hotel but what truly makes it the best are the staff that keep the place running. As two young women, it was so important to feel welcomed and safe in a location we’ve never visited before- the hotel delivered on this and more, we felt completely relaxed and at home. From arrival day to leaving day, they could not have done more for us. To all the George’s and the rest of the staff, we’d like to thank you for making our holiday and hope that anyone reading sees this is the perfect place to go! Thankyou once again, Sarah and Ellie x

I travelled at the end of September, stayed for four nights and I am really happy I chose Tagoo Hotel. The stuff was so supportive and informative from the booking process through the whole stay. Hotel offers an airport transport which is reasonable of 35 euros. The highlight of the hotel is breakfast who are spoiled of choices, my favourite was spinach Greek pie, pancakes or Greek yogurt with honey.
The view on sea and yachts from the pool and breakfast are just incredible. My room was on the ground flora, and my balcony had a beautiful view see, sailing yachts and hearing nothing just peace and quiet.
Stuff goes beyond to make your stay the most enjoyable as possible. Very friendly stuff breakfast waiters, receptionist, cleaner, bartenders, manager George who is always there to sort any requests for you.
I highly recommend this hotel.it is only 10 minutes from the airport by car, 15-minute walking down the hill to Mykonos Town, Mykonos port. Best location in walking distance, I will definitely return.
Traveling as solo traveller (female) I felt really safe in the hotel and in the hotel area. I recommend for solo lady travellers for sure. The rooms Were cleaned daily, bed and pillows are super comfortable. The shower is great, and stylist designed bathroom,
Only little think to point is at the fridge makes a little noise as it is defrosting during the night.
It was my first visit in Mykonos, but I already know it won't be the past. Thank you Hotel Tagoo for a great care and hospitality.

My family have been all over the world cruising and stayed in 5 star hotels and nothing has compared to the super stars in this hotel. I’m talking about the George’s yes the three of them and a mention to Pandalease who looks after you when you rock up late.
Kate the manager and the owner were always checking we were ok

Yes officially it has facilities classed for 3 star hotel but the staff have kindness for customers I have never seen before they made us feel like family during our stay

Yes you could pick minor faults with the hotel building but I would be ashamed to do so as non of this mattered to us.
It’s a small Greek hotel not 100 million dollar cruise ship

We spent a lot time at the hotel which has a sunset to die for, which the fancy bars charge for. I was even sitting a the bar one day over heard customer that had popped back talking about regretting moving to a 5 star after a short stay at Hotel Tagoo

It is about a 10 minute walk downhill to the old town Little Venice which has a night time atmosphere never experienced before after a few 😜 we caught a 5 euro taxi back as I’m not the fittest person around.

Yes it’s pricey but check the food and drink menus before ordering

All all I’m going back asap

Superb hotel with great views.
We booked a Superior Sea view room which was very roomy and had a beautiful area at the front of the room with a private quaint patio with an awesome seaview.
The bed was massive and very very comfortable with quality bedding.
The bathroom was spacious with a very powerful multifunction shower.
The best thing about this whole hotel is the staff who are very helpful and go above and beyond to make you stay at Tagoo memorable. If course a special mention to George who is an absolute star.
If we go back to Mykonos we will look no further than The Hotel Tagoo.

Hi Donna, yes WiFi is excellent throughout the hotel...even poolside! But once you see the views it’ll take you away from the screen I promise!
