First trip to Corfu and seems to wind down after October. Hotel was very quiet. Also a little dated and not really 5 star - no porters and had to self check in. However we had got a good deal from Jet2. Breakfast was table service and lovely to sit outside with a friendly service. I loved the pool - it was unheated and salt water - very refreshing and had it to myself. The room was a great size with plenty of wardrobe space. All rooms in this hotel face the sea so the view from the balcony was amazing evening and morning. Great location for walking into the old town and to Kanoni to go to Mouse Island. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening or use the casino which did appear to be quite busy. All in all a great hotel and would recommend.
We enjoyed a week here, first trip abroad this year. This Hotel is a gem. The precautions being taken over Corona Virus are impressive. Temperature checked before entering Dining Room! Great Service, Great Cuisine, Great Views, Great Location, Great Pianist. You can park you Hire Car here without charge.
Wonderful hotel in great location with pool. Staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Lovely see views and of the old fort and so convenient for Corfu Town which is great for shopping, socialising, eating and drinking.
Must admit first impressions when we walked into the reception area was that the hotel was a little dated and tired looking but we soon fell in love with all the great things about it. Large rooms, very clean with huge picture window and balcony overlooking the bay. Big wardrobes with plenty of space and hangers. Staff were friendly and helpful, we built up a very good relationship with Michael (maybe spelt wrong). Pool area was fab, lovely plush sun beds which were washed down every night along with the whole pool area. Lovely pool side bar with great food and a beautiful garden with the old city wall as backdrop. All of the outside space overlooked the beautiful bay too. Location is excellent with just a short walk into Corfu Old town with clean streets, vibrant bars and a huge choice of lovely restaurants even in October, can highly recommend Rex’s with a huge menu of delicious and unusual dishes. Mouse Island is stunning and a must see. Covid precautions all very very good with all staff wearing masks, tables and sun beds well spaced and lots of hand sanitiser dispensers. Reason for 4 star not 5 is a few little niggles, hotel towels small and well used, bacon, sausages and ham were all processed (probably typical Greek) I am non dairy so limited to fruit, toast and croissants, a healthy cooked breakfast would have been good but fruit salad was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel and go back again. …
The location of this hotel was ideal as we had just 2 nights in Corfu Town and we just wanted to be able to walk into town without the hassle of taxis. Our rooms overlooked the sea and were spacious and clean. Our breakfast was fresh and tasty and the service was mostly good. The overall decor reminded us of a dated Vegas hotel. Lots of gold and dark furniture. Such a shame as with is stunning position and lovely pool and gardens it had so much to offer. Pool side snacks and drinks were pricey and the actual pool unheated. Overall we liked it but it does need a facelift.
