Chambres d'hôtes in the charming Bastide town of Eymet in the Dordogne, France. We have four spacious double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Guests have use of a shared guest lounge with fridge, kettle, coffee machine, TV, pellet burning stove and access to the garden, which has a sunny terrace with seating, covered gazebo for shade and a swimming pool (for use when weather permits!) There is private parking on our driveway.

We stayed one night here en route south. What a great find … Tom greeted us with fizz and beer in the garden. We had a lovely clean room, with a fan, overlooking the garden. After cooling off in the pool we walked into the square for dinner. Breakfast was served in the garden - fruit, yogurt, cereals, croissants and baguette. We declined eggs - sadly we didn’t notice their egg menu until too late. Our hosts were great. We’ll happily return.

Fantastic B&B! Lovely warm welcome with a glass of bubbly. Really clean and comfortable room. Great facilities including fan for warmer nights. Breakfast was fab with selection of cold and hot options. Would highly recommend

Everything about this b&b is excellent, from the immaculate rooms, the wonderful pool and sun loungers and of course, the very welcoming hosts. Breakfast is a real treat, fresh fruits, croissants, cereals and hot special of the day.

The process from booking to leaving the accommodation was super smooth and easy. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The location was perfect, a short walk into beautiful Eymet. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for more for our stay. The breakfast was superb too! Highly recommend!

Stayed for 6 nights in August for a wedding and then to see the area. Le Portanel is amazing, rooms massive and comfortable, pool lovely and relaxing, location slightly out of the way from town (i.e. quiet) but a very short walk to the centre. Good base to explore the region (you need a car). Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety - discussed with other wedding guests staying other places in Eymet and ours was definitely the best. Massive thank you to Mark and Tom for a lovely stay!

Currently staying at this lovely place … my bed is so comfy!! Room is spacious and the bathroom is lovely … the hosts Mark and Tom are super friendly and very good at what they do !.. excellent facilities - pool .. lounge area .. great breakfast … 5 mins walk into Eymet … they even have communal fridge with cold water and Malik for you to use in your room… I will definitely be coming back

We stayed at Le Portanel for 8 nights. The house is immaculate. Rooms are well equipped and super spacious. The grounds are lovely and the pool / deck area is a real treat. Tom and Mark are great hosts; nothing too much trouble and super friendly. The location is great too - five mins stroll into beautiful Eymet. Looking forward to a return!

We were warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts and everything was just perfect- the beautifully furnished large rooms, the pool, the breakfast, the short walk into town. There is also guest lounge where you can make tea and coffee and a guest fridge with fresh milk and water. A lovely relaxing stay!

My partner and I stayed here for four nights at the beginning of May. They were lovely hosts and would go out of their way to accommode any needs. The room we stayed in was stylish and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotels location is perfectly situated near the town square, we will definitely return
