This all inclusive resort of the Catalonia group is very popular and crowded during high season and summer and weekends and full of kids so don’t plan on tranquility but its large grounds and multiple restaurants/bars and large beach give lots of places to go....More

Not really, but usually the open chairs are not under a palm tree=no shade. But you can go early in the day and “reserve”. I personally didn’t care where the chair is (the sand is very soft, can’t find shells), and kids are usually in the water or in the pool. But keep in mind, August was off season for them. I hope this helps some.
