We stayed in the Perdanales apt; it's part of Bayahibe Guest House but it's a separate bldg about a block away. It's a three-story building with 3 separate apartments; ours was second floor. There's a door to unlock to the bldg itself, then you go up a flight of stairs to the second floor. The building is well maintained and secure; there's even 1 or 2 dedicated parking spaces in front. The apt has a separate bedroom containing a queen bed and lots of closet space with a key-activated safe. The living room had a single-sofa bed, it would have been able to accommodate someone less than 5' tall. We also had a nice TV, free wifi, large kitchen table. The kitchen itself was stocked with a double-sized mini fridge, cooktop, electric coffee-maker, electric kettle, blender, and plenty of dishes and cutlery. This apartment also has a lanai on the back which made a great place to put our wet dive gear out safely to dry as well as a nice place to sit in the early mornings or evenings when temps cooled off. There was also an AC unit, but it was in the bedroom and thus not super efficient at cooling the entire space, but we live in hot, humid Texas, so we knew what to expect. We weren't sitting in the apartment in the heat of the day so no big deal to us; we used the bedroom as our 'cooling' space and it all worked out fine. The bathroom was nice, we had a rain shower head and had hot and cold water. Where this bldg is is fairly quiet and secure. There was a mini-mart to shop for food around the corner, and the location was also fantastic because the dive shop and the harbor where the dive boats go out from was literally a 3 minute walk. If you're going to Bayahibe to dive and nothing else (that was our reason) you are way better off to stay in Bayahibe and definitely one of Bayahibe Guest House's rooms or apartments rather than some huge resort in Punta Cana where travelling back and forth is going to take a lot of time plus be expensive. Our apartment was also cleaned daily -- something you don't necessarily get anymore. It was also a bargain, but still would have been at 2x the price. Something else you don't get nowadays - the owner Christian was very kind; when I bungled my return reservation for the ride back to Punta Cana airport he quickly got his pickup truck and was going to get someone to drive us there, on the spot! It turned out that Cocotours (with whom I had made a reservation) just happened to have a driver nearby so we ended up ok but the kind of service and attitude of Christian goes a long way with us, and we are really grateful that he was willing to stop what he was doing and help us. We don't know when we will return to Bayahibe, but when we do we will be staying at Bayahibe Guest House!

Perfect place to stay in Bayahibe. Central location, friendly and helpful staff, easy parking nearby. More : perfect cleanliness to German standards and excellent comfort at a very reasonable price. We are not backpackers and used to palaces but for an authentic gateway in the Caribbean style, this is a perfect deal with the simplicity of Dominican life and the high standards of European comfort. The owners and the staff are very professional and they have a breakfast with a nearby restaurant at the corner of the street which is also excellent and friendly. Great job !!

The rooms are cozy and nice. They even have a coffee maker. What’s new is that they also have Netflix. Moreover it is clean and the location is great. The owner of the hotel is super friendly. He knows Bayahibe well for some real good recommendations. He even helped me to get the needed corona test for going home. The staff is also really helpful. Thanks for the amazing service! Would stay again.

The owners, Gladys and Christian, are absolutely lovely; full of helpful recommendations and eager to help with anything you need! Gladys picked me up from the airport and gave me a quick tour of town, which was super helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable staying here (and in Bayahibe in general). The guesthouse 2 min from the main road and a bunch of dining options. The rooms are very cute and comfortable, and I liked that there was a bench outside of each, facing a courtyard. It was lovely to have the option to relax outside and meet some other travelers. I also stayed at the Hilton for a few days, but I really preferred being in town (I was mostly there for scuba diving, but also enjoyed afternoons at the public beach).

Lovely apt, separate living area, good kitchen to cook meals, as well as table and chairs, sparkling clean. Cleaner does amazing job. We had a few minor issues, like lock broke on balcony door, but this was fixed in a couple of days. There is a constant 24 hrs noise from the water tank below bedroom window. It was very annoying for first few days, but we got used to it, so much so we extended our stay! An information pack would be greatly appreciated. Big shout out to Tiki, wonderful person. Beach is very close as well as yummy restaurants and bars. We left having a soft spot for bayahibe. Overall a good stay and would highly recommend this guest house.

Guesthouse was relaxing, clean, safe and very quiet. Next to natural pool which I loved getting in at night. We were there Monday to Wed last week. Almost missed boat to Sanoa on Tuesday morning because we were so relaxed and comfortable. All requests were handled right away and staff was AMAZING. I'm planning to return and stay longer. Just a few pictures below..enjoy¿¡%$$#@

The hotel was recommended by the Scubafun diving center. It is easy to find and was excatly as described. I was welcomed by the owner and check in was very easy. The staff helped me with the parking and the luggages. The room smelled very clean and fresh. The outdoor is designed as a Zen like garden which is very relaxing. The owner did give me tips about local restaurants and shops. This not the first time I visited Bayahibe and has been disappointed a few times with hotels. The Guesthouse is the first time I have being satisfied with an hotel quality price ratio. I will be back. It is nice to find hotel like the Guesthouse where customer's satisfaction is their priority!
