I like the resort so much that we became members. With some of the changes I may have made the wrong move. The resort rooms are beautiful and very large. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. They are also very honest. By mid-vacation my phone died and I left it in my room on the table. The house keeper...

This property is massive! There are several Vidante resorts located together. The Mayan Palace was great. We stayed at in buildings 3 and 4 (there was a leak in the bathroom, that had us relocate). The location was perfect. We were near the main pool...which is BIG! Our room had two queen size beds- very comfortable. The maid service comes...

We have been at the Mayan Palace, Riviera Mayan for 5 days. For the most part, we have enjoyed our stay. Accommodations are comfortable, the grounds are lovely, walking is pretty and boardwalks make it easy to get around. However, we seem to be hit with costs everywhere we go. We played golf and had to debate what price to...

Dear Guest: We really appreciate the time you have taken to share with us your impression about your stay at Mayan Palace. We are delighted to find out that you liked the accommodations and grounds. However, we are disappointed to learn about the inconveniences experienced. Your observations will be shared with all areas concerned as guest feedback is important to...

Staff very helpful and friendly happy people. They come in twice a day to clean your room. At night they turn down your bed, turn on the lamps and leave a couple of hershey kisses on your pillow. Huge place, but friendly and cozy atmosphere. Restaurants are execellent and prices are comparable to restaurants in USA. There is a store/deli/giftshop...

We have just returned from two fantastic weeks at the Mayan Palace in a Master Suite. Apart from two big bedrooms, we also had a spacious sitting room and kitchenette, with two sofa beds. We could have comfortably slept six adults. The best three things about the resort were: 1) The surrounding environment – which is full of luxurious vegetation...

This was a huge resort complex which included 6 resorts in one area. It was rather large for our tastes. The resort itself was very clean and nicely maintained. It was really quite confusing trying to get around and figure out where everything was for the first couple days. There are miles of boardwalks to wander that go to all...

My sons treated us to a 50th anniversary trip to Mayan Palace. One of my sons was a vacation club member with Global. I have no idea how much the week cost him, but I know it was relatively inexpensive. I did not know what to expect as far as our lodging. Luckily we got Building 11, which was right...

If you like Disneyland style enormous resorts and deceptive business presentations, this is your place! If I had the money I would take them to court for fast-talking relentless selling practices. It is a shame that their employees are taught to behave in these ways. Say NO to all offers of breakfasts, invitations to discuss your stay, etc. They use...

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback about your recent stay with us. As one of the most successful companies in the Mexican tourism field, we clearly communicate the terms and conditions associated with accepting an invitation to our sales presentation and everyone - at free will, attends. We do appreciate any feedback being...

We use about 12 Getaways weeks a year through our travel clubs and this is the worst we have seen. The Grand Mayan was good so we thought the Mayan Palace would be. The one bedroom is large but very very dark and dismal, no balconies, and has a beer fridge and two elements, and we were planning on cooking...

Dear Guest: We truly appreciate the time you have taken to share with us your impression about your stay with us. It appears as though not all your expectations were met. This will be addressed by the appropriate areas as we always work hard to have a clear communication with our honored guests and we look to please them by...

We loved it!! .....other than sales pressure....see comments at end We were in bldg 11 and it was a beautiful 5 min walk to the pool and beach. We didn't mind it at ALL. Our room needed some TLC but it wouldn't take much to look just like the newer Bliss and was still very typical Mexico... just time to...
