For our first time in Kos, we had an amazing 10 nights at this hotel, and considering this hotel was very last minute which we had no time to read the reviews. I'll get the Covid bit out the way, our temperatures were taken on entry to the hotel, social distancing between guests is maintained, gloves are provided in the restaurant to get your food, all the staff wear gloves and masks, all day, in that heat, they were amazing. The main building is very plush with marble floors gold trims and chandeliers, the pools were beautiful both the Olympic pool and smaller pools around the pirate ship. The food is amazing, varied and warm, with various themed nights such as Greek, Chinese, Mexican and Mediterranean. There was plenty of choice at all sittings, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dionysi was the beautiful Maitre D who made us feel very welcome and made extra effort to always have something nice to say, ask how our day was, and have a little chat if she wasn't too busy. All the staff throughout the hotel, bars, restaurants, entertainment, pools and cleaning were always very friendly and helpful. The cocktails and spirits were very good, with good, strong measures 🤪, and the entertainment crew had us up dancing after a couple. Again, the entertainment had theme nights with Greek dancing, Latin dancing, music quiz, movie quiz and bingo, all were really good fun, and we even won the music quiz. The beach sun loungers were €3 for the day which is the going rate around the area, and a lovely way to spend a few hours looking out to sea and listening to the waves. It was a good walk into Kos town, around 3 1/2 miles, but a lovely walk with a few tavernas along the way if you need a rest and a drink or something to eat, or you could just get the bus. Our room was OK, clean and comfortable, with a hairdyer, fridge and a lovely big balcony with a table and chairs. Overall, we had one of the best holidays we have ever had and will definitely return when we can. We look forward to seeing the hotel in normal times.

Just came back from a week’s holiday at Kipriotis village via Jet2 , with wife and 6yr old daughter and it was fantastic. Weather was amazing, staff all worked really hard and were very friendly to help out with anything we needed. Special shout outs to Alios who gave us a buggy ride round the resort to show us around on check in and was always happy to help out. Leonidas, who gave us fresh towels for the sunbeds every day and very friendly to us, made a point of always saying hello to us. Vitalis part of the animation team was great and always made a point of stopping and saying hello. Nicky at the palmy beach bar always happy to help and a smile on her face. Asimina the lifeguard, great with the kids, my daughter took a fall during the holiday and Asimina and her colleagues were there in a heartbeat to ensure she was ok. Arranged a birthday meal for my wife, and Giannis was great in organising it, we had a birthday banner, cake with sparkler, and rendition of happy birthday song and a surprise bottle of wine and glasses in our apartment. All the restaurant staff worked really hard. Reception staff were all fantastic, was nice touch having a cold drink on arrival.
Facilities were great, table tennis, basket ball courts, tennis courts, 5 pools, including an olympic pool with beautiful backdrop, toddler pools, pirate ship and slides, and having the waterpark on site was nice as well, the aqualand sister hotel is closed, but in the week we had, the onsite facilitates were more than enough. It was great to have a daily kids club, but my daughter did find it a bit repetitive, perhaps their needs to be more activities,
Food was great, different themed meals every night, the BBQ was really nice, and plenty of snacks, though they only seemed to have margarita pizza on offer, including during Italian night ... the double room we had was a bit dated, TV was from the 1980s and was out of tune, no tea/coffee kettle etc, but when you go to a place like this, you don’t plan to stay in the room except for sleeping, air conditioning was good. Jet2 aren’t doing any excursions, but you can book excursions at Tigaki express over the road, Monaca was really helpful, and we booked a trip to Zia to see the sunset, only 5 euro per person, sunset was beautiful and lots of restaurants/bars and shops while waiting.
We didn’t use the beach during the week as it was full of stones and very windy, so wouldn’t advise swimming there with young ones, but you can do excursions to some of the more sandy beaches like paradise beach..
Would have loved to have stayed longer...

We visited first week of August 2020 and this was an excellent choice of location. We had to change booking the week before and booked this place which was a very good twist of fate.
The place is scrupulously clean, they are using the reduced capacity for painting and renovating, this wasn't intrusive and was done early morning without fuss or noise and was excellent to see investment going back in.
The pool facilities are brilliant, the kids just swam and swam for the week we were there with the youngest ditching armbands on the second to last day. Lifeguards were friendly and knew the kids names and played with them while we were there as did the animators who are a diverse lot of nationalities that work really hard to give all a good time.
The food here is very good. Some people complained it was a bit of the same but good quality grilled meat, salad, and some quality carbs did it for all out family. The greek BBQ was amazing and we went twice.
One minor thing is at night there is little for kids to do after the mini-disco apart from feed Euros into the machines by the pool bar which is fine as long as there are some euros to feed ion but they ran out of change for the last two days, a very minor point on what otherwise was a fantastic holiday/ COVID allowing we will be returning October half term for another week so our eldest can join us this time.

I’ve visited this hotel in the beginning of July this year, everything that could go wrong, went.
From check in I couldn’t access my room, because the cards were not working, once the lobby staff let us in, other time the security guard, we have changed the card 6 times and no one cared about us! Eventually after two days they have proposed us to change the room - finally!
There was no cleaning service because of COVID, what a convenient explanation for the hotel! After I talked to the manager I have been told that the rules are strict and they clean every 4 days.
I can understand the tough times and accept that only one pool was open or one restaurant, but the basics like entering the room or cleaning? This is too much.
The WiFi should be free, but it happens that it’s extra paid 10€ per day.
The sunbeds on the hotel beach are also extra paid I think it was 3€.
The approach of the staff, beginning from front office to cleaning stuff is repealing, I felt more like intruder than a guest.
Near our room there was a staff locker room and each morning we were woken up by loud chatting, even after I asked the ladies if they could be a little bit quieter in the morning because our room is beside the wall and we can hear everything.
I’m attaching a photos of a “clean” sheet and how the pool bathroom looked like after our 1st day - imagine the smell.

To sum up. I regret picking up this hotel and would advise everyone not to choose it as a holiday destination of any kind.

With all the chaos this year, we missed out on our May holiday but as soon as the travel corridors came into life we booked to come back to our home from home.

Great care and attention has gone into assessing the new found risks thanks to Covid. You’re greeted outside of reception where a quick temperature check is administered, and staff all wear masks and stick to social distancing guidelines.

As ever, you’ll be welcomed with care but also friendship. It wasn’t hard to see that 2020 has taken away tourists from the island but the hotel’s army of staff were in good spirits and offered their signature Greek hospitality at every moment. Lola’s bright cheery smile and warm personality is there to greet you on reception whenever you’re passing.

Understandably with low occupancy some of the restaurants were closed, but the way the Atrium restaurant had been adapted felt safe. Sanitising hands and wearing fresh gloves before using the buffet is mandatory, and there’s a one way system to collect your food.

The major change in the restaurants is that you’re now served e.g. drinks rather than helping yourself. This gives you a chance you may not normally have to meet and have small talk with the restaurant staff.

Greek night has to be my favourite themed night, not just for the mouth wateringly good pork but because there’s music and atmosphere and the two young guys Nikos and Theodoris seem to enjoy a dance with their food carts to the music which though not part of the entertainment made me smile. These two and Eleni took amazing care of us and they’re super nice people!

There are some adaptations around cleaning schedules too, but a quick call and we were able to get extra towels etc when we needed it.

It’s fair to say that as expected the hotel management and staff have done well and we were able to have a great two weeks relaxing in our paradise!

During our stay we did move to the Kipriotis Maris, something we’d been informed about before hand and was necessary due to the extremely low occupancy. I’ll review that separately but I must add though it’s the tiniest inconvenience it made no impact on our great holiday.

Kipriotis Village team - Efharisto Para Poli! See you soon!

Alex & Jodie

I visited this hotel in August 2020- during the pandemic I know! And they were outstanding! All the staff wore masks, had to use gloves to get food and hand sanitiser was readily available, if you are thinking of getting away defo recommend this hotel. Sorin and vitalis made this hotel especially welcoming. And loved the aqua gym and shows every evening! Scran was also good and I am well fussy. Hotel itself was peng😍

we had book this hotel before the covid comes, about 10 months before.
we decided to go for our vacations, after consdiering that greece is a safe destination and also that the hotel has taken all the neseccary messures.

we had stay in august 2020 , the hotel provied us with an express check in procedure.

we had arrive early morning and we got our room right away( we had contact the hotel one day before and we had request for this, due to we have a baby]

Hotel is huge provide everything a family need during vacations.

restaurants and bars are spacious provide the necessary social distancing.

variety of foods and drinks are wide during the breakfast/dinner/lunch.

programme for kids was also amazing.

hotel is in front of the beach provide with umbrellas and sun beds, but you have to pay a small fee that goes to the local municipality.

Room ( family junior suite) was very big and spacious for a family, but our room was seem that need renovation with an old style tv.

we strongly recoment the hotel for familys vacations that want to have piece in mind,

Just returned from the Kipriotis Village and have booked to return again in October. Had an amazing stay the staff worked so hard to make sure everyone was safe but still having a great holiday. The food was great with lots of choice for everyone nobody needed to go hungry. BBQ night is a massive plus which you can do once during your stay. Plenty selections of drinks and the bar staff work really hard and will make you any drink you ask for. Swimming pools great and not over crowded could always find a sun bed. Entertainment team work very hard and Vitalis kept everyone entertained with aqua aerobics, table tennis etc. Entertainment manager Sorin will handle any issues you have actually makes a real effort to make himself known to new quests within the first day. Rooms very basic could do with a lick of paint, TVs outdated and didn’t work but balcony’s lovely and big and the end of the day you only sleep there. Bus stop outside the hotel runs every 30 mins to Kos town and is very cheap. Would definitely recommend people to go to Zia on the sunset trip can be booked opposite the hotel and is only 6 euros it is a trip of a lifetime with amazing views and traditional Greek food will definitely do that trip again on October. Also recommended people to walk across the road and pay Anna a visit in the little Greek bar next to the supermarket she is so lovely and makes you feel part of the family if it’s traditional Greek bar you after then definitely pay her a visit opposed to the tavern straight opposite the hotel. Can not fault this hotel nothing is too much trouble for the staff and you get treated like kings and queens for the duration of your stay. Can not wait to go back there.

You must book this hotel!!!
We booked this hotel at the last minute after deciding we would not go to Majorca due to quarantine afterwards. Thank God we did!!!! The hotel and it’s staff are simply amazing. The hotel itself is continually being cleaned and the staff are so helpful, especially Dionysia who works as hostess at the restaurant. Always happy to help us with any queries. The food was gorgeous and the staff were always smiling and happy.
The pools at this hotel are fab, great slides for all ages and always aqua aerobics every morning at 10ish.
The 3 guys who run the daytime and evening entertainment are fab! Sorin, Tavi and Vitalis made every effort to entertain everyone, always smiling. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, this was really spacious for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, 12 & 10) we stayed for 10 nights and loved each and every one of them.
All in all, great holiday, book it, you won’t be disappointed 😍

Just returned from a 7 day holiday to kipriotis village. Arrived at 11 at night and took to our rooms on the little buggys which is a great help when you have suitcases we were then told there is food and drinks available which is great after a long flight and a hungry 7 year old . The rooms are old fashioned and dated, with an old TV and hard hard beds, the rooms advertised on jet2 website are not what you get!! I feel the hotel is dated and on a closer look lots of the things are broken and rusty ie outside tables and sunbeds. The staff are lovely and helpful all wearing masks all day apart from the man on the snack bar at the main pool he had is mask around his neck all holiday. The food is ok and the alchohol is watered down rubbish. You get what you pay for and I would of been disappointed to come here paying full price, but for what we paid it is really what I expected, we were told that at full capacity there is normally on average 3000 guests when we stayed there was 500 and I really can't imagine where an extra 2500 people would go.
