Giving 4/5 because the hotel is billed as five stars, but it ain't. In common with turkey, five stars here isn't five stars in somewhere like Hong Kong or London.

Not bad by any means though a few minor quibbles which don't bother me, but clearly annoyed others. What the small print doesn't tell you:

Pebbly beach, no alcoholic drinks at the beach bar, soda only.

Pool open 10 til 6 only.

If you want a four poster at the pool, 10 Euros to book. Beach/pool towels are available but you have to put down a10 euro deposit at reception, get a ticket, and redeem it at the pool bar at 10am.

Cocktails ain't great (avoid the kir royale and there's no mint in the mojito!)

Be nice to the bar staff though... They take a lot of crap. There were only ever two barmen on duty for the main bar so be prepared to wait for 20 minutes plus.

The "nicer" restaurant needs reservation a day in advance even if you are ultra all Inc and it looks quiet.

The Red Sky rooftop bar is shut completely.

The spa is only staffed on certain days.

Poolside relaxation spoiled by dated music.

Good points: housekeeping was more than on point, they are the happiest housekeeping I've ever seen!

Food is plentiful and varied

Welcome bottle of wine is good, balcony great for private sunbathing.

You don't need a shuttle to the beach, it's at the end of the drive.

Reception are lovely and will do their best for you.

Head up the beach to the Ramira and get a massage there, 35 euro for an hour and they are lovely. Rent a car or bike and head to Zia for relaxed and scenic shopping.

We had a great holiday but not what we expected.
It is obvious that they are trying to build things back after a difficult period of covid and it affecting travel and their business.
Rooms need updating and stains and damaged mirrors, water stopped working, Electric would go off and on, the roof top bar which was a main selling point for us when booking was closed but even though being all inclusive we would of had to pay for drinks anyway. Most of the staff weren’t very friendly but there were some stand outs, Adrina in the bar area waiting on tables, cracking jokes with holiday makers that obviously didn’t have a sense of humour. A very young lad too that cleared rubbish around the pools, helped at the pool bar and also in the restaurant, great asset to the hotel as he was always smiling which unfortunately was something a lot of the other staff didn’t do.
Food was good but even though being all inclusive we only had the choice of the main restaurant, pool snacks were minimal. Pina coladas we’re hit and Miss normally miss.
Bar staff weren’t very friendly and the restaurant staff struggled to keep on top of getting drinks for people at lunch and dinner. They were always nice and polite though.
Had a great cleaner on the 7th floor with the unopened bar, talk about rubbing our nose in it that the main draw for our holiday booking wasn’t open 😂. She cleaned our room to a high standard every day and was always really friendly.

Kos town was great but the bus drivers weren’t always helpful calling out stops coming back at night so be on the ball. You must get a ticket from the booth when leaving the town as they won’t let you on the bus otherwise. If you get the older lady in the booth take cover as she is the most miserable woman I have ever met and obviously doesn’t like tourists or anyway maybe.

Hire a buggy and your the island as they are great and if you can go and visit Zia. A Beautiful place and I had the best apple pie I have ever had in one of the cafes, beautiful and the people were very friendly, yippee.

I hope that once they get more money coming in then they will be able to afford to update things.
The main part of our holiday was slightly pre busy season. We discovered this as the fancy uniforms came out they had a bus boy and they stepped up the game with sorting out the areas. We were happy that our holiday was before this as less people, the quiet pool was lovely and quiet yet the last couple of days there was no more quiet pool and taken over with kids and ball games. This was a shame as they had a separate pool for this already.

All in all we had a lovely holiday but wouldn’t go back as have been to better All inclusives with more things included and more value for money.

They need to work on customer service and updating.

If you don’t expect too much then you won’t be disappointed.

Just came back last night from an amazing week at this hotel. Everything about it was great. The new managers, Thomas and Georgia, were so welcoming and they, and all the staff, could not do enough for us. They were all so friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was varied, plentiful and always delicious. The house wines, red, white and rose were also very nice. The meal times were broad so even if we went out we could still get to the restaurant for our meals. They also offered a late night buffet which was useful as our flight was delayed and arrived at 10pm, and an early continental breakfast for early risers or early leavers at 6.30am.
The hotel is really beautiful and spacious. There were plenty of places both in the sun and shade to relax and look at the wonderful views. The pools were clean and there was a variety of places to sit, more than enough sunbeds as well as tables and chairs near the pool bar which served drinks, coffee and food. There were varied activities available during the day.
Our room was big with a lovely view of the sea and the cleaners did a fab job every day, leaving bottles of water and replacing shower gels etc. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept really well.
In the evenings in the bar there was entertainment each evening, singers, games and disco etc. Cocktails and all drinks were included in our deal so we spent virtually nothing during our week apart from our trips into Kos town which is a short distance away, walkable but also easy to get to by bus or by cab which was 10 euros, and once booked at reception was outside in minutes. Psalidi itself, where the hotel is based, is also nice with the hotel's private beach area with sunbeds and shades just a few minutes walk away and water sports just starting to open up.
The other guests all seemed nice and we made some new friends. We had a really great time at the Kypriotis Panorama, can't recommend it enough and would love to go back!

After waiting nearly 3 years for our first holiday abroad this Hotel left us feeling conned and very dissapointed.
The holiday did not get off to a good start with our Jet 2 flight being delayed ,the flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours..
On arrival at the Panorama Hotel we were impressed with the outside appearence, but that is when it ended. We were all-inclusive+ which we were led to believe included free drinks.only 1 of the 3 lifts were working so we had to wait to get to our room on the first floor.the room was supposed to be a superior room which unfortunately did not life up to its description and was very dated with old wooden furniture which had been re-painted,the floor was tiled instead of the very old carpet that other rooms had,the worst part was the bathroom which must have been nearly 20 years old with a shower over the bath and a shower curtain which flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. We had a complimentary bowl of fruit and a small mini fridge but no bottle of wine which other guests had.
The food in this hotel was ok but the breakfast being the worst with raw bacon and orange squash instead of fresh orange juice, only 3 star quality and the service was sometimes questionable at best with tables being cleared without diners finishing there meals.
The worst was yet to come,if you wanted a drink during the evening it was a fee for all with understaffed bar areas causing long waiting times for guests, when finally being served we were told only 1 drink per person and no branded alcohol served to ALL INCLUSIVE.
The management of this hotel should hang there heads in shame with the total shambolic service they were responsiblke for.
The bar staff and waiters/waitresses were hard working,so were the cleaning staff.
The tour operators need to be made aware what is happening at the Hotel and downgrade its 5 star rating to match its facilitys and general condition.
We paid a good sum for this holiday but were left extremely dissapointed.
We will certainly not be going to this hotel again.

We were a group of 20 all from one big family. We've got accessible room which was built awfully - shower in one side of the room and the drainage on the other side so the entire bathroom becomes a pool. As a result one of my kids slipped on the floor. I don't want to think about a disabled person who need to stay at this room. The other issue was that the toilets themselves were to high for my little son (5YO). We were asking to change the room and were refused claiming that they don't have availability of family room. After two days of back an fourth and after involving the hotel manager WE finally found a solution within our group. Guess what?! My nephew and his fiancee (a couple) were staying in a room of 6 persons (!!!). Along the way the reception manager was rude and unwelcoming promoting a "no we can't" approach.
Apart of that in some beds has quilt blanket others (even at the same room) only wool blanket.
All in all the rooms are clean but not well maintained for sure not at the level of 5 stars.
All inclusive - I've been to several AI hotels in the past, this one is a full board plus some drinks between the meals.
You want towel? you need to leave a 10Euro deposit.
You want a safe box? for some of us it was told that it's only for Ultra AI, others should have taken a plug from reception.
You want to play billiard? 2Euro per game.
You want drinks at the hotel beach? only until 15:00

Why did I give 2 stars and not 1? This additional star is to the hotel staff - the cleaners, people at the dining room and others that were very nice and kind. They deserve 5 stars for their great effort and smile.
To be honest some of the public areas looks good (pool, balcony) , others need urgent refurbish.

Third holiday here over the last 18 years and now very disappointed. They had 3 tenors for entertainment one night and they were exceptional. The good things are that the room cleaning by the maid is excellent. Rooms are large which is great but tired and shower is in the bath and leaks water over the bathroom floor even though our shower curtain is used. Bar in the evening is well managed and good service. The rest let’s it down badly. Breakfast is fine however evening meal is poor and we have eaten out now every night. Lunch is good for salad options but pasta is terrible. Pool is ok however the lunch restaurant Souvlaki, Pizza and Triton working out of one kitchen - particularly is frustrating as you have to book in for lunch and dinner and it’s fully booked for days on end and your only allowed to go three times. Reception is poorly managed and sometimes they are frazzled. This was not in any of the information on this holiday either in the brochure or at reception. The sky bar is not free and all Inc have to pay! After day 3 was challenged over taking towels and requiring a towel card despite wearing an all Inc bracelet and told to go to reception - reception gave no information out or cards so misaligned resulting in poor communication to holidaymakers. I would not come back as gone down in service levels and tired and lack lustre service. Overall massively understaffed so they can’t give you the service. This is 3 star at best.

Misleading booking, inconsistent information.

Where to start? Before I do, I think it’s important to stress that I’m not a person that has extremely high expectations and prefer to be pleasantly surprised. I do however, have high standards .

After pondering the internet for many nights we settled on the Panorama complex because it offered exactly what we were looking for. Bars, restaurants, supermarket on site, Spa….

So, we arrived at midnight, checked in and went to the room. The decor is very dated, in particular bed linens and bathroom. The toilet was leaking onto the floor, and the shower head had water coming from only around a dozen or so holes. Pretty useless for use as a shower but amazing for cutting stone.
There was no wifi in the room, hallway, nowhere other than reception.

We trotted off down to reception and we’re told to come back the next day which we did. We asked for another room and had to wait another three hours to be shown to another (worse) room which we declined. We were promised that all of our issues would be fixed the same day, and bless them they tried.

I could have forgiven them the room issues, but when you add all of the other ‘odd’ things up, it was too much for us…. things like:

Chic rooftop bar not actually open (but advertised)
Supermarket on site not actually open (but advertised)
Jewellery store not actually open (but advertised)
Internet cafe didn’t exist (but advertised)
Rooms, whilst large, were filled with very dated sanitary ware, furniture, bed linens, and carpets.
Multiple restaurants not actually open (Fish & more, Pizza & more) but advertised.
Spa not actually a Spa - it had a pool that could not be used, no sauna, no steam room, nothing other than massages and nails.
Chronically understaffed. Waiting fifteen minutes for a bottle of water at mealtimes isn’t the best.
Not being able to have a coffee after dinner at the table - what’s that about?? Instead, you had to visit the bar, and wait another twenty minutes.
Ultra all inclusive isn’t, you still have to pay for a lot of things.
Towels needed to be paid for around the pool - could not be charged to the room, could not pay by card, no ATM on site, what’s do you do?? Nearest ATM around two miles away in Kos.
Cabana beds were ten euros per day, beds on the beach also were not free.
Wifi extremely hit and miss.
One of the three lifts not working all week, and that went to two of the three…
Power outage for two hours whilst repairs/maintenance was carried out.

As others have repeatedly pointed out some of the staff are amazing, but they need a little more help from the management.

I’ve probably missed a few other gripes, but I think an adequate flavour of my issues with the hotel are clearly listed above.

I would have rather the hotel have been up front and honest, the travel agent also, and we may have still decided to go there, but sadly this was not the case. It didn’t feel like money well spent.

We were welcomed to the hotel and made to feel very welcome. Our room was a lovely size and had everything that you would need including a platter of fresh fruit and bottke of wine. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and couldnt be faulted
Although it was only the 2nd week of the season we couldn't fault the staff. Zanetta in the bar was very friendly and efficient, remembering from one night to the next our preferences. The reception staff were always on hand and able to answer and help with any enquiries. We are considering returning towards the end of the Season.

We’ve just returned from staying here. Like many others staying we hated our junior suite with side view on arrival. Was told not to unpack and they’d try to move us in the morning. Nope!! Gave up in the end but have to say although the room was gloomy with horrible carpet and outlook etc the bed was at least comfy and it was quiet.

There is no WiFi at the hotel despite boards saying there is. Was really annoying.

The sky bar is closed and delapidated. Apparently due to staff shortage.

The ultra all inclusive does not cover all brands! My drink choice was one not included. Found a cheap similar one but when that ran out the pool staff were very rude and no alternative was offered which caused tensions.

The staff, especially cleaners, work very hard and we had a nice animation team so that’s new from other reviews.

The gardens and entrance were newly planted and cut nicely.

There are wonderful sunsets from the outside bar area.

The food in the main restaurant was really fresh and excellent and the staff and waiters were friendly (shout out to Demitri). I agree about the a la cartes. 25 euros if wanted prawns at fish and more. Don’t bother with them.

It is easy to get sun beds so that was a great plus point. No mad rushing around in the mornings which led to a relaxed break.

Sadly we didn’t get a ‘welcome’ on arrival or ‘goodbye thank you for staying’ from anybody on reception. I think a lot of problems stem from the main desk. They’re ineffectual, bit scruffy looking and are rude on occasions - probably worn down by the amount of unhappy guests.

Oh and there is no curtesy bus to the beach - one reason we booked there.

Don’t think we’d stay here again due to mixed messages (lies actually) but hope it improves for future guests.

Hotel itself was clean and tidy everywhere. Room cleaning and towels replacement very good and 5 star
Check in was quick and easy.
Location is good with impressive views across the water to Turkey coast 4km away

There are issues which should be getting addressed but the management team seem unwilling to do much.
Charging phones etc in the room requires moving furniture to reach power sockets. Pool easy to find sunbeds but they are very tired and well overdue for replacement. The Hotel Occupancy Rate was very low so this reflects the ease of finding a sunbed
Food - reviews this summer frequently mentioned the lack of quality or variety. We agree with many but always found something to eat.
Environmentally I'm not convinced the hotel is doing all it could.
Wooden drinks stirrers and drinking straws all  came individually wrapped in paper.
Disposable plastic cups were used at the pool bar.
Water was given out in small one time use bottles.

The lack of local bars or convenience stores meant you needed to go into Kos if you needed anything substantial
The elevators were all working throughout our stay although the programming needs work as they didn't always stop or go to the floor that you might expect. Service from all the staff we met was excellent.
Smiles and Good Day greetings came naturally. Entertainment was OK given the low number of visitors.
2023 reviews give lots of opinions about how the bars could be better staffed or organised. Corporate Management has decided Trip Advisors reviews are not worthy of a reply so these ideas and other improvements will not happen soon.
We stayed Oct 2023, unless early 2024 reviews suggest otherwise avoid high season, the same issues are likely to reoccur.
Jet2 seemed to be the main UK based operator going there and their 4 star rating was about right for 2023.
We would go back but only outside peak season
