Really enjoyed our week here. Good service, clean and lovely facilities. I would increase to 5 stars but round the lack of options for drinks in the the restaurants annoying. Couldn’t get a Gin and Tonic on all inclusive at the same exclusive restaurant unless you wanted to pay extra. Food was good with a lovely choice and something for everyone’s taste. Would come again

A little late writing this review but here goes… We arrived quite late at about 10.30pm & we was taken to our room by golf buggy which was welcomed after travelling. We then went to the buffet restaurant to get a small snack as the restaurant is open late but not much to choose from, it was the only time we used the restaurant late anyway. We upgraded our stay to a junior suite with a private pool as this holiday was for my 40th birthday (this was stipulated on the booking but sadly nothing in the room on arriving). The room itself was fine & the bed comfy but the pool wasn’t heated which I think is wrong if people have to pay extra for a private pool. The main pool not being heated I can understand but private pools should be, this really put us off as even though the pools have been in the sun all day they was still too cold to use so was disappointed with the pool situation The buffet restaurant was good, good selection and cooked well. The traditional Greek moussaka & lasagna were the best I’ve ever had! Desserts were very repetitive though. There is a late riser breakfast slot from 10am which basically means that after 10 it’s whatever is left from earlier breakfast and no chef on for fried eggs, poached eggs etc just what’s left of the scrambled egg which was very nice but given that with the tables not being set up anymore was a bit deflating. At dinner we found we had to eat early or late as during the hours of 7.30pm & 8.30pm we really struggled to get a table. Quite a few times we skipped breakfast & got toasties and crepes from the upper pool bar of which a special mention to Lorena is here as she makes the best toasties & crepes ever!! The cleaners did a good job with the rooms although rather quick short visits which I wasn’t expecting. The pool was cleaned separately although be careful as he just appears out of nowhere with no warning so keep your curtains closed if you’re changing in your room. There was a mini fridge with water, beer and soft drinks but it’s only replaced every other day not every day like the tea/coffee/milk. There is only one British speaking channel on the tv provided, everything else is in German?! Yes the main pool is also freezing and it is policed so if your towels are left out before 10am they are removed which I don’t mind as I can’t stand people reserving them. The beach is a stones throw away but wear beach shoes as it’s stony not sand There is a variety of cocktails on the inclusive menu but mojito isn’t which I find strange, double check the menus before ordering. The bar people do work hard however one night a barman had a tizz about something and stormed off before arguing with others which I found unprofessional. As like with tables at dinner, we had to get to the entertainment early otherwise we couldn’t get a seat/table to watch so most nights we sat at the end pool bar as the seats were comfier and they played good music so with the sea in the background this was much better for us. There is a shop on site which has some nice souvenirs and nick nacks as well as snacks & ice creams Entertainment finished each night by 11pm so after that there is nothing to do as not much in the area. There are free visits to al a carte restaurants each week but we didn’t use them as that’s not really our thing. No pool flip flops are allowed at dinner even though I saw some people wearing them & I found it a little intimidating to be looked up & down at by the staff when entering the restaurant at night, we are on holiday and shouldn’t be judged by what we wear on our feet All in all I would give my review 3.5 out of 5, there was no recognition to the fact that we chose this hotel for a special birthday & the other points I’ve described. It was a good holiday but not the best and not the 40th birthday memories I was hoping for. We wont return to this hotel but it hasn’t put us off going back to Greece as we are going to Zante next year 🇬🇷

My 2nd time to Kos and I'm so glad I booked this hotel. I stayed for 7 nights arriving 30th August 2023. The accommodation is in blocks spread around the resort but after a day, you get used to where everything is but on the first night, we were taken to our rooms via buggy with our suitcases so at night which was so handy as it was evening. Our room overlooked the quiet pool and we were situated over the private pool rooms. Lovely and quiet as its furthest away from main building but it's a 5 mins walk through the beautiful grounds. Our room was cleaned everyday and even when we didn't need towels replaced, they still did it for us! Everything was tidied away and cleaned beautifully. Also plenty of big bottles of water given to us everyday which really helped, we always had enough. The staff in the dining room, especially Antonis - he is the star here and can't do enough for you. You will most certainly get to know him. He does an incredible job and looks after all guests. Also the lovely Kristian too as he served us most mornings and was so friendly & polite. The guys in the bar in the evening were all so lovely, attentive, and a great laugh! They were always chatting to us after the entertainment finished and always remembered what we drank - shout out to Elio & Alex, you made our week really fun every evening. The hotel grounds are stunning and there is so much space to sunbathe on the grass facing the sea and also, if you walk a bit further, there is much more space so we enjoyed being close to the amenities but being practically on the beach for the breeze. The main pool gets busy, so if you want a bed by the pool, get there early. Pool towels are provided in your room on arrival, and you can change pool towels for 2 hrs morning and evening by the main pool. The food was good, Greek night especially. Same stuff most nights but a good variety and plenty of lovely Greek Salads! The place for lunch which doubles as the Italian A La Carte in the evening does AMAZING PIZZA!! Location of the hotel is 10 mins from Kos Town, bus stop is right outside the front. Never had to get taxis as the bus was so easy. 2EUR on the bus or 1.50 if you get your bus tickets from the shop at the hotel located at the main pool bar area. Gorgeous adults only hotel with a fab location, perfect weather, and friendly staff who aim to make your stay a great one. I would easily go back here and happy to recommend to all.

Well what can I say, it was our 13th visit (been going since 2011). Some of the staff have changed over the years but the Oceanis always seem to employ the best staff. A special mention for Constantin, we have know him since he was first employed there and he is truly a wonderful person, he goes all out to please. They are going to update half of the bedrooms this winter and also the pool, and the rest of the bedrooms the following winter. We had a wonderful 2 weeks with friends and hopefully will be back, if not next year but maybe in2025.

So it was a lovely holiday and we had a great time. Most of the staff were lovely Appart from one tui rep and the staff by the bar at evening times. We were not allowed to move chairs to sit with a group as they “couldn’t walk past” there was loads of room either side. And they just seemed to be really fed up. Given that it was the end of the season and they would want to go home. We had to wait 2 hours for the safe to be fixed. And when called reception they hung up the phone. I spoke to them the next morning and they said that the guy went home I’ll and they had no one else. However they didn’t tell us this and told us just to wait in the room. 😕 However the room staff were lovely and catered to us. Always cleaned beautifully. The pool was freeing! But my boyfriend didn’t seem to mind. The food was good. Only thing there could be more variety. Lunch seemed to be the same every day and we didn’t really enjoy it. No chicken or pork’s. On Chinese night they ran out of duck 20 mins in. But Antonis was a god send. I didn’t like the buffet one night and he asked what I would like. I said a bowl of tomato pasta would be great and within 10 mins it was on the table. Amazing service. The town was only a short bus ride away and it was beautiful. Well worth to go and see. Lots of friendly people and lovely shops. We went snorkelling in the sea (warmer than the pool 😂) and saw some fish. We met some lovely friends and joined in with the hotels activities. Played volley ball on the beach with one of the tui reps and it was so much fun. I would definitely go back but I think it would be better mid season.

This resort is not a 4+star resort. The staff are great but everything else needs to be addressed. Poor cleaning of corridors and stairways, food was unappetising, warm at best and uninspiring. We constantly requested bottles of water for the room and the water offered on the bar and restaurant smelt of chemicals. We ate out most evenings in Kos Town. Basic spa area was at an additional cost ,I expected to pay for treatments but not for access to the spa area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is our second year at Oceanis Beach and again it was a fantastic time, we were welcomed back like old friends, the Hotel team went out of their way to give us the fantastic time. During our two week stay the staff looked after us, the hotel is so well maintained, clean and there is always activates for the guests to take part in. Our holiday was made by the standards of the Oceanis, they even went and gave us the same room as last year, on our request. We are so happy with our holiday and the level of service from a fantastic team that we have already booked (the day we landed back in the UK) to return in 2024. I cannot recommend the Oceanis Hotel and Team highly enough. It is not often that you find a holiday location that becomes your second hoe, but we have. See you all in 2024, and thank you so much.

This is mine and my husbands 7th time staying at Oceanis beach and spa, again our 2 weeks here were filled with joy, fun, laughter, relaxation and happiness. To go away to a destination where you can guarantee beautiful weather in a stunning location, incredible food, fantastic entertainment and over and beyond excellent service and friendship is priceless. This holiday was made even more special as our son and daughter in law joined us to see why mum and dad love coming here so much, now they understand and will also be returning next year. What makes coming to this hotel so special is the attention, kindness and service you receive from a group of hardworking and friendly staff. Despite it being near the end of the season everyone was as enthusiastic, happy and as hardworking as if it was the opening week. Special mention to Antonis the Maitre D from the Yacht restaurant, he is the kindest, funniest and most knowledgeable man, we have learnt so much of the history of Kos from him. He has a wonderful relationship with his staff who clearly like and respect him very much. His attention to all guests new and returning is incredible. Stefanos, a very hard working manager with a great sense of humour, he is very attentive and constantly making sure we are having the best holiday experience. Leo the bar manager, a lovely, funny, hardworking young man who looks out for his colleagues as well as the guests. Elliot’s and Alex who served us our drinks in the evening, again lovely hardworking and friendly young men. Achilleas who brings your drinks on the beach has an energy and speed that is awe inspiring. Special mention to the lovely and hardworking Lily, Eminie, Fotini, Muazzez ( and her mum) Seldi, Yanis, Nicos and Fatima who all made our holiday experience so perfect. Next I want to mention the head chef Gergios who’s food and attention to detail is outstanding. The ingredients of fresh fruit and vegetables is grown locally in the farm that belongs to the hotel. The taste and freshness of the salad and especially the tomatoes is mouth watering. The food in the Al a-carte restaurant I would liken to what you would eat in a Michelin star restaurant. We loved the entertainment this year, the silent disco was great fun, White night and disco nights with the DJ provided many opportunities to dance which we love. The traditional Greek night with Greek dancing and singing is always a much loved familiar of our holiday. We enjoy the activities and events organised by the TUI reps, especially the beach volleyball, good, friendly fun. It was a great way of getting to know other guests and the lovely TUI rep Yelmer. This year we went to the volcanic island of Nysoros, it was a long day but a worthwhile experience. We also did a day trip to Bodrum, a 30 minute ferry ride. Not something we would repeat because of the long queuing and time wasted going through passport control. Kos town is such a lovely place to visit, a short bus ride from the hotel where you can purchase a bus ticket from the hotel shop. We are already booked for next year and we are already counting down the days to return to our happy place. See you next year Emma and Peter ( Helene and Petros)
