Spent 2 nights in Eco Lodge 1. The bungalow was huge, which then meant that the air conditioner really struggled to have much impact, but fortunately it wasn’t too hot out during my stay. The bathroom was clean and the shower appeared to have been recently renovated, including with a good water heater. You’re right next to One Eyed Jacks,...

We stayed in one of the native, airconditoned houses of Maya's. The house has a lot of space for two, 1 queen bed and a single bed. Just bring your own soap and shampoo! We paid 4999.00 pesos for 3nights through Agoda. Breakfast not included. Their restaurant serves good food. I ordered mexican. There are several resto-bars in the area...

We had the fan cottage for 2 nights. It was pretty clean but the bed was probably the most uncomfortable weve had on this asia trip. Plus side all the cottages have their own little balcony to relax. Hot and cold water for showers. Wifi doesnt work very well in the cottage. From the town we got a tricycle for...

We stayed at Maya's for 5 nights in May this year. We had an air conditioned bungalow which was perfect for us and everything we needed, the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a power cut and ran out of water on one occasion but hey.. We were in the Philippines after all!! The staff at Maya's really...

We only stayed one night but we had an air con bungalow. It was clean & spacious. Beds were comfy. The shower holder was broken but no big deal. The staff was friendly. We paid $1,500 a night. Across the street is One Eyed Jack, a great bar & burgers. Good quiet location - I'd go back again.

Fine stay, but the aircon is NOT working. We complained thrice and they got us a fan. When we checked out the girl at the counter told us she couldn't give us the regular discount of P500 each night (the amount you pay for the aircon), because the manager hadn't left her a note. She called the manager thrice and...

Lovely little bamboo bungalows in the garden. Helpful staff and a short walk to the waterfront. It can get really hot here, no breeze, so book with air-conditioning if you like to sleep at a moderate temperature. Draft beer in the restaurant! Good healthy breakfast too.

I enjoyed my time at Mayas, but it was much more basic than I expected - it's definitely a bare bones, budget hotel. I stayed in the air-con bungalow, which was spacious with a double and single bed, closet, and wet-room style bathroom (that was, I should add, completely covered in mould). There was also a nice porch outside with...
