We slept well in clean sheets in a cleaned room, the car was safely parked inside a barrier, and the breakfast was good (we did not try the evening restaurant). So what more do you need? Well... My wife wants to stop at something nice, recently refurbished, especially when it comes to bathrooms. I am a man, I like to...

Le Palmyrotel accommodation was reasonable for the price that we paid. The room was adequate with large bathroom, seperate sleeping area from the kids and a large balcony. Missing from the room was any kind of tea making facility but did house a fridge. The breakfast at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired and would suggest maybe just...

Very central location. Pretty much close to everything. The hotel is in need of urgent renovation and refurbishment (rooms, dining area and lobby). The staff is ok. We didn't have any breakfast or food as a matter of fact. The tired aspect of the hotel didn't make us feel like staying there much. We had a room with a view...

Positives -This hotel is so pretty from the outside and very central to the town. Just across the road from the centre and all the restaurants and shops. 5* for location 5-10 minute walk to palmyre zoo and 15 mins to the beach on foot. Bike hire just over road. Area very cyclable. Reception was friendly and the check in...

On the plus side, this hotel is very central, inexpensive (we paid €73 for a balcony room, without breakfast) and it has baths - a good long soak was just what was needed after a day's cycling. However, there was a smell of mould/damp about the place, possibly resulting from the leaking flat roof over the dining room that was...

Good location, not noisy. Rooms dated but clean, good beds and bedding. Decor tired. Nice staff. Lots of mosquitos if windows left open! No tea/coffee mking facilities. We paid 80e per night, so not bad value, would use again if on a budget.

Having booked this hotel last year we had great hopes. I should have read the French reviews as these seem more on the mark as does the last English review. It's true there are not many hotels in this area but this one is way below the three star rating it claims to be. Our room No. 34 was at...

I'm in two minds concerning the Hotel Palmyre. There are several positive aspects of it. Firstly, it is very central to the main facilities in the town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it is very close to the shops and the zoo. At night it was quiet, as the hotel is set back from the main road. The...

I spent two nights at this hotel this week. I cannot fault the friendly reception staff who made the effort to speak English when I struggle with more than basic French. I really should learn more! The room was comfortable and the pillows whilst at first glance appeared to look uncomfortable actually proved me wrong as they were very comfortable....
