Patrick and Hayat were very welcoming. Since this village is very small and nothing really to do on foot you need a car & then there are several places to explore around the area. Very clean & peaceful. Breakfasts were delicious. Their website is done really nice and has lots of tips for day adventures.

There aren’t enough stars to rate this accommodation… not only is the venue breathtaking, designed with so much taste, it immediately feels like home thanks to both hosts. Two warm people who do everything to make your stay unforgettable. They have tons of information to share about the region and Portugal as a whole, but if you prefer peace and quiet, the pool is perfect to relax. The 4 rooms, of which one is situated in an old renovated mill, are real gems, each one with its own signature. Private parking space as an extra asset makes this place perfect.

What a lovely little surprise in the heart of the Silver Coast! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully manicured, central, and gracious B&B. Patrick and Hayat are wonderful hosts and serve up a generous breakfast that features a delicious main dish each morning. They went out of their way to help us make the most of our time, even preparing an amazing dinner for us one evening that we enjoyed poolside.

We first thought from the name that this B and B might be in the ‘Art Hotel’ genre, but it turned out to be perfect simple sophistication in a beautifully designed garden with pool, surrounded by pretty small villages and lovely countryside. Located between Lisbon and Coimbra, it is ideally located to visit the spectacular coastline and the many historical sights in the area, as well as plenty of good restaurants, about which owners Patrick and Hayat provide excellent and invaluable local knowledge. During our 6 nights there, our hosts were most cordially accessible for questions, assistance and a chat if wanted. Then, there are the absolutely delicious breakfasts, from their own, and locally-sourced ingredients and producers, which Hayat prepares and presents, that are not to be missed! Among the many B&Bs where we have stayed, in over 25 years of international travel, Flamboyant rates in the top few!…

Flamboyant is a fantastic B&B. From the first moment, you know that your days here will be great. We received an itinerary that made it impossible to get lost. On arrival, Patrick and Hayat received us not only with information about the region, but also with a nice drink. The information can also be found in useful little books in your room. The room is decorated in a very good style; the colours are tuned to the last detail. We liked it that the room has two parts that can be separated: a sleeping room and a sitting area. The bathroom is spacious with a very good rain shower. Breakfast is delicious with every day a lovely surprise. Depending on the weather you can eat inside or outside under the lemon tree. We loved to swim in the swimming pool with salt water, so no chlorine. The location of the B&B is almost perfect, near the beaches of the Silver coast and nice cities as Óbidos and Alcobaça. Most of all we appreciated the contact with Hayat and Patrick and the way they take care of their guests. We hope to come back.…

We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and very helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and things to see. They were spot on with their recommendations to us. They themselves have travelled far and wide and designed this B&B based on what they know travelers appreciate. The suites are alongside each other but totally private with wonderful amenities (the largest shower we had on our trip) and thoughtful touches. The breakfast was delicious with homemade items included. Finally, the grounds were peaceful and relaxing; if you are traveling from busy cities like Porto or Lisbon, a few nights in this calm, countryside location is just what you need (we certainly did).

We loved the B&B and can absolutely recommend it, it is a real gem. The location is perfect for exploring various interesting places in Portugal like the unique Obidos lagoon, the surfer hotspot Nazare or the beautiful old town of Obidos. We stayed 4 nights in one of the bungalows and we really enjoyed it, super comfortable beds, very spacious and beautiful furnishing / decoration. The garden and the pool area are also wonderful and are perfect for just hanging out and relaxing in the sun. However, really the best part of the stay was the outstanding breakfast every morning as well as the very warm and welcoming hosts Hayat & Patrick. They also gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood which led us to some fantastic places. Thank you so much for everything!…

We had a lovely stay in Flamboyant. Hayat & Patrick made us feel very welcome and at home in their modern yet cosy b&b. Every day, they surprised and spoiled us with their amazing food. The location of The b&b is ideal for trips to the beautiful coast and surfspots as well as for visiting some of the charming towns and cities nearby. Extra credits for all The efforts they made for our 1,5yo son, from supplying baby gear, to old wooden toys, breakfast animation and extra pancakes. He absolutely loved it!

We stayed at Flamboyant a few weeks ago and can’t rate it high enough. The hosts Hayat and Patrick are extremely warm and sociable. Hayats 5* breakfasts are absolutely amazing. We stayed in the original windmill which is lovely. I would recommend if you have difficulty getting up stairs to book one of the pods tho due to the windy stairs. There are 3 pods at the side of the pool to choose from. All lovely and modern and very tastefully furnished.
