The hotel is very well located to access the Caminito del Rey. Very nice and helpful staff Breakfast OK; not buffet, it's served at the table with limited choices and the service was a bit slow We tried the restaurant and had a good experience

Passing through for one night only. Small but decent bar and a nice restaurant. I was with a group of friends but would have been nicer for a couple. Friendly staff who seemed to genuinely appreciate the custom. Great environs with people swimming in the reservoir at the end of a hot day. Ideal stop if you are on a...

Stayed here for 1 night for the caminito walk, perfectly situated to walk to the starting point. Was very quiet when we stayed but could not fault the service, from the greeting on arrival to dinner in the restaurant......nothing was too much trouble. The area is beautiful, very peaceful, would definitely return.

The hotel is in a stunning location but completely let itself down. We were in a small box room that's only window was internal. Dead insects came out of the air con and when we pulled back the bed cover a live spider crawled out. After 30 minutes in the room the noise from the corrugated plastic roof atop the...

The good bits: The location is perfect, free car parking adjacent to the hotel, decent restaurant with a helpful and friendly waiter, Manuel. One room was simple, clean but a bit tired. The hotel staff secured us tickets for the walk at no extra charge. The problems: Firstly we booked by email with Amparo in autumn 2015 and visited in...

The restaurant is attached to an hotel (to the left if you are facing the main hotel door) and it isn't immediately obvious. Portions are generous and traditionally Spanish. Try the lamb shoulder cooked in honey which is for two persons, or the wild boar. But the simple things like the salads, cheese and meats are very good. The vino...

This restaurant serves great food. Maybe the price range is a bit higher than others in the area, but the quality food is worth it. They have special dishes of the day, stunning steaks and deserts to die for.
