Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very poor especially the beds as they had best bugs and my kid was crying all night not being able to sleep. We all ended up having rashes across my body and my wife had to go to the hospital that’s how bad it was.

Charming and helpful lady at reception; there was a local fiesta when I arrived and she kindly put me in the quietest room available. I was really impressed with the high standard and spaciousness of the apartment and would certainly stay there again.

I stayed at this apartment for 1 night with my family of 4. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, four burner range, utensils, plates, and cookware. However, it did not have any spices or oil for cooking. The entry had a lounge area with a sofa, table, and TV. Up a few steps was the kitchen and eating area. The upper floor had 2 bedrooms which shared one bathroom. There was plenty of hot water for our showers. Each room had it’s own climate control to keep the temperature comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for charging electrical devices. There was wifi and it worked at a moderate speed. The main entrance is located on a one way road. There is no place to stop and unload your car. However, if you make two left turns, you can park for free behind the building or for a charge in their garage. We had a big car but the spaces were big enough to not worry about damage. The town is not very big and we expected it to be very quiet. Oddly, it seemed every dog in town started barking in unison just before sunrise which was quite annoying. It’s nothing the hotel can fix, but something to be aware of. The apartment was about a 15 minute drive to El Caminito Del Rey. I’d stay here again if I return to the area. My family really liked this hotel/apartment.

I was one of 14 cyclists who spent 2 nights at the Apartamentos Ardales in September 2019 and there was unanimous agreement that it was the best hotel of our trip with large comfortable rooms, a small living room and a kitchen. The complementary breakfast and the front desk staff were the best of our trip as well. What more can I say! Our group walked the Caminito del Rey (highly recommended) and the hotel staff arranged the tickets and the taxi to/from the start of the Caminito.

We stayed here for one night to visit the Lake nearby and were so impressed! There were three of us and we had one of the two bedroom apartments, it was really well presented and spacious with outside seating in the little courtyard, clean and modern and the staff were very friendly, recommending places to eat in the town. The pool on the roof is a nice treat and the views form up there up the hill are great! The lake is about a 15 minute drive away, we visited Indian sports to go Paddleboarding and then the next day went to La Isla sports to go out in a pedalo. The Restaurant El Mirador is up on the lakeside mountain road with the most fantastic views from their terrace. The location is really quaint, very spanish and very friendly, I would definitely recommend the place just round the corner on the square for meatballs and prawns!!!

Stayed in this beautiful village a night before the hike at Caminito Del Rey. The village is a typical Pueblo Blanco and beautiful. Very friendly locals. The apartment we got was a 3 bedroom and had great views of the village. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. They do have a roof top swimming pool, small but cute Had a comfortable night before our hike Would definitely recommend it!!

Everybody meets down on the square in one of the countless bars. Friendly locals. Always some event going on. Triathlon when we were there. A village the tourists haven’t found yet except for a few hikers on their way to the Camino del Rey.

Extremely nice apartments in the middle of Ardales. The lady who owns this place and her staff are more than helpful. There is the posibility to have breakfast and also to reserve a parking place in their garage. The only 'minus' is that the curtains in the bedroom were not dark enough so in the morning you will wake up rather early. Ardales itself is a small, cosy town. We would highly recommend Apartamentos Ardales!
