My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night on our road trip south towards Puerto Escondido. We loved cooling off in the pool after a long hot day. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach and had shaded hammocks for guests to relax in. We felt incredibly safe in this quiet, peaceful oasis. Gregory, the owner, made...

“Nirvana” has been described as a place of peace attained by the cessation of suffering. At Hotel Villa Nirvana, I experienced complete peace and total absence of suffering! What a wonderful gem of a place. My room was a dream come true – simple, spacious, comfortable with a gorgeous ocean view. The sheets were soft and comfortable – not the...

As if Villa Nirvana weren't wonderful enough, lovely hosts Greg and Denise are perfect. This isn't a super fancy hotel but provides an authentic Mexican beach experience at a good price. Waves can be tricky for swimming but simply gorgeous to watch and the sunsets are perhaps the best in the world.

Our family stayed here for two days in February. The hotel is under new management and they are renovating, but that did not interfere with our stay in any way. We had a lovely room with a huge balcony. The pool was a good size and very clean. Our kids spent most of their time in there and loved it!...

I really didn't know what to expect as I had never been to Pie before and was only in Acapulco once but happened to be during a hurricane. The hotel was beautiful with rooms spaced out in a way that each seemed to be in a small world of their own. Additionally, each room had its own hammock which I...

This is a wonderful hotel under new management by a wonderful couple (Greg and Denise). They really made us feel at home with their friendly and accommodating service. Our hotel room was comfortable with a relaxed, tropical theme and outdoor hammock. For me, the biggest draw of Villa Nirvana is its great value and location outside of the city of...

We loved our stay at Hotel Villa Nirvana. The beaches in the Acapulco area are the closest to Mexico City, so if you are planning a trip to Mexico City or if you live there, I'd highly recommend taking a trip out to the coast. Acapulco is a total mess, but Pie de la Cuesta is just 30 minutes north...

This hotel villa nirvana is a perfect little get-away. Located in Pie de La cuesta, about 15 minutes from downtown Acapulco, it is the best budget hotel in area for the value. It feels laid-back, far from the luxury area and big hotels of Acapulco. It feels like a little home away from home. The pool is surrounded by nice...

I stayed at La Villa Nirvana for a few days in June. I had visited Acapulco several years ago but this was my first visit to Pie de la Cuesta. What a wonderful place and amazingly close to Acapulco (15 minute drive). I'm glad that I decided to trade the hustle and bustle of Acapulco for the relaxed and tranquil...

“There is not a fitness center but there is a pool and the beach is right there, so that's why I gave it 5 stars for fitness. All the rooms have hammocks and all have some sort of view of either the ocean or courtyard indigenous foliage.”
