It's a good place, but not somewhere to go if your looking for something special. Would suit small families or couples seeking a quiet holiday. Nice place to use as base if you want to hire a car and explore the island

We stayed there for two weeks last September. It's perfectly located close to beach and the sea. It takes only few minutes to get to the main street of Skala with many tavernas and shops. Rooms are rather small but tidy. Mayby some of them should renovated but it's OK for those who come to Cephalonia to see the island...

Lovely stay, very local you beech just across road. Accommodation simple but enough for holiday purposes. Lovely local town with really nice food and friendly people. Family run business which must parents have been for many years. Very welcoming.

Stayed at Tara Beach for 2 weeks from 6 Sept, first time in Kephalonia - what a beautiful island! We thought the hotel was in the best position in Skala - right across from the beach and a short walk (albeit up a bit of a hill) into town. We stayed here for 2 weeks in September. The location is beautiful - right opposite the beach and only five minutes from the many good restaurants in Skala. The rooms are set amongst lovely gardens with gorgeous smells of jasmine and tropical flowers. Breakfast is simple Greek style which we enjoyed on the front terrace looking out to sea. Yiannis...
