Breakfast has a vast cold selection supported by various hot options which change on a daily basis along with juices, tea & coffee.
The pool area is lovely for relaxing during the day with plenty of sun loungers & umbrellas provided. The pool bar & restaurant provides refreshing drinks & all food, which is served at both lunchtime & evenings, is freshly prepared & delicious with good sized portions that are very reasonably priced.
The hotel is in an elevated position just off the beach road which affords stunning views. The first tavernas are located a 5-minute stroll from the hotel with the main village a further 10 mins.
From our experience all guest whether returning or first-time visitors are extremely friendly which as previously mentioned provides a large family atmosphere without being overpowering.
We like many guests have already booked for next year & are counting down the weeks until we return.

The breakfasts were good with beautiful Greek yoghurt fruit and toast with a daily selection of hot buffet (the spinach and cheese is my favourite by far)
The dinner selection is simple grill offerings well cooked and after going round all the restaurants in Skala still offering the tastiest Greek salad.
We came at the end of the season so didn't feel the need for the Air con so keeping it as a separate charge and not adding to the price of the holiday really makes sence to me.
Like a lot of the other guests I think we'd come back if we came to Kefalonia again.
but just be aware that the road up to the village of Skala and the drive up to the hotel is quite a steep incline.
All the staff at Aeolos Beach hotel are friendly and extremely hard working. We felt welcome straight the way and there was a really happy atmosphere in the hotel by staff and guests alike. Chris and Angela the owners always spoke to the guests using their first names and took a real interest in what they were doing during the day and gave advice on restaurants and places to visit.
The pool is large and there were plenty of comfortable sunbeds, so no need to reserve! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfy super king sized. We had a room on the top floor and this had a balcony facing the sea.
We did not eat at the hotel at night as we always go out to restaurants, however the food looked very nice and all other guests highly recommended the food to us.
The breakfast was very good and there was a choice of hot and cold food.
We really enjoyed our holiday at Aeolos Beach and would return.
Thanks again to all the staff.
I’d say most of the reviews were spot on. Chris and Angela are a perfect mix of professional and friendly and their son, Athos is a great young man.
Hotel was spotlessly clean, has a great pool area and bar, and seems to have many repeat guests. Easy to see why.
The only reason I’ve rated it 4 and not 5 is that our room on the ground floor didn’t have much of a view and the fact that it is a 15 min stroll into town, albeit a lovely stroll with a few tavernas on the way. Its location is approx 3 min walk past the Regina Dell Aqua, another hotel we’ve stayed at.
I’d highly recommend the Aeolos, especially if you manage to get a room with a view and aren’t as lazy as me.
If the price is right go ahead and book and you need have no concerns whatsoever.
Enjoy !

This was our 3rd time of staying here the last being 8 years ago and we were so happy that the standards remained so high.
The rooms are well appointed, extremely clean and serviced regularly. The bed was HUGE with a really comfortable mattress and pillows. I slept extremely well during my stay.
The pool and surrounding areas are pristine with ample sunbeds and parasols. It is a lovely pool to swim in and due to the hotels position, the views from the pool area over Skala beach is wonderful.
The bar and restaurant area is very well kept and it was a pleasure to both eat and drink their.
It was my birthday on the day that we arrived so my birthday cards were in our room. One lovely touch was that one of the ladies who serviced the rooms, cut fresh flowers from the garden and left them for me. Such a lovely gesture.
All in all I would definitely recommend Aeolos beach to anyone as a wonderful peaceful place to stay in Kefalonia. Thank you to Chris and his lovely team for making our stay such a happy one.

Beach towels can be supplied think they were 3 euros for the week but saved us space in our cases, also air conditioning and safe deposit were at an extra cost if needed at a reasonable charge.
The beach was a short 5/10 minute walk down the hill and the village centre was a lovely 15/20 minute evening walk with the beach and bars on either side. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.
Thank you Angela and Christos for your hospitality.
Love Martin and Anita xx
The pool was fabulous. Excellent rectangular size and very clean. Lots of loungers so never a problem finding one empty.
The hotel is a little way out of the resort but you could walk it in 20 minutes and there were lots of eateries enroute to choose from. There is a steep climb up to the hotel from the coast road but it’s not a problem if you’re reasonably fit - by the end of the week we could do it in one go without stopping!! Guests also used the relatively cheap taxis to take them in and out of the village.
Really recommend this lovely hotel if you’re after something quiet, laid back with wonderful owners and staff who take real pride in making sure that you have the best stay ever. Nothing was too much trouble and we were sorry to leave.

The hotel is perfect 28 rooms and nice to speak with other couples and families who have been returning to the same hotel every year 14 and 24 years. This was our first time and I would definitely go back.
Recommend turn left at the bottom of the hill to get fabulous ice creams for just 2 euros. Beautiful cakes and what a choice. Hot foods and other goodies sold too.
Go on the boat trip with captain vangalis Poros, Sami and visit the caves finally fiskardo. On our return stop off for a swim on a beautiful small cove beach worth the money.
Many Greek restaurants to try in town the Manor House, scirocco, and the village to name a few.
Thank you kefalonia for wonderful amazing holiday 💗
