Is there a smoking designated area?
There is no designated smoking area, people tend to smoke at the bar, on the sun beds, on their balconies which is ok for the smokers but not very considerate for other guests, in the past I’ve known people smoke at the dinner table when others are still eating.

Hello, we have stayed in Maia - its a lovely room. As its a small hotel you could leave your patio doors open, but there are shutters too which you could pull across if you want the room to be darker. The sun rises directly in front of the hotel so your room would be filled with sun from quite early on in June. Its very relaxing so I am sure you will enjoy it.

Hi Not sure really. Mario upgrades everyone from b&b to half board at no cost. This works as the pre dinner meet at the bar brings everybody together and Mario benefits from the bar takings. The wines and cocktails are excellent. Villa Costa is a wonderful experience. Best Wishes Philip & Barbara
