Pearly Grey Ocean Club provides a clean and well-maintained environment, as many travelers praise the hotel's spotless rooms and facilities. The hotel's location is another highlight, offering proximity to local attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. However, guests have expressed concerns about the lack of evening entertainment and misleading advertising related to room amenities.
While the renovated pool and sea views are appreciated, some travelers are disappointed by the absence of air conditioning and difficulties with pool access. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness are frequently commended, despite occasional slow service.

Detailed Reviews
Set in a quiet small village with a good range of Restaurants and Bars, Pearly Grey is a hidden gem! Having holidayed at Pearly Grey several times prior to becoming Owners in 2018, we have always found our time spent there absolutely secure and very happy ,been satisfied with what it has to offer and, above all, the relationship with the very knowledgeable, willing, upbeat and helpful staff. Cleanliness is always of the highest standard within the whole of the complex with constant attention to detail throughout, providing a general ambiance which is second to none. The Apartments are very well appointed with excellent views. Provision of a Full Time Lifeguard is always very reassuring. We are extremely looking forward to the new innovations the Developer has planned for the future.

2 bed apartment (s1-14) had spectacular sea view.
Recently maintained. Enough room for 4 adult easily
Beds very comfortable . Kitchen had everything we needed.
On site restaurants good value and nice food. Top tip buy 1 half board card to use for breakfast and evening main meal and you can share this and eat out for some days without loosing value.
If you looking for a quite area this is it. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance. 20 euros in taxi to Los Cristianos if you want a more lively experience.
Service from front of house staff very good.

The resort is located in Callao Salvaje and there is a bus service, however to explore further afield a car is useful but not essential. The resort is a 10 minute drive to the motorway and has a good selection of restaurants, although a number were closed when we visited due to Covid restrictions. Those with outside tables were allowed to operate. Pearly Grey is a very well maintained resort, the staff are all helpful and friendly. At the time of our visit reception was open from 3 pm to 7 am, but 24 hours on Fridays. There is parking nearby and a small number of spaces within the property @ 3 euros a day. The resort was very quiet during our stay. There is a good sized swimming pool and an adults only sunbathing area Normally they have two restaurants, but due to very low occupancy both were closed. We would visit again and it is good for a quiet break. Covid safe June 2021.

We enjoyed a week's stay at Pearly Grey as RCI members on an exchange trip. There were many things about the resort we liked: the location is quiet, it's only 15 minutes' drive to many of the attractions and activities in the Costa Adeje area, the beach is minutes away on foot, the resort and our apartment were spotlessly clean, the ocean views are beautiful, the restaurant food and drink was good quality and reasonably priced, and all the staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful.
However, there are also a few areas that really need improvement to turn this from a good resort into a great one.
Our biggest complaint is that they URGENTLY need to get air conditioning into the apartments. We visited in September and we were baking hot even with all the windows open, so much so that it was hard to sleep at times. In July or August it must be unbearable.
It's also a little ridulous that you have to pay a hire fee or buy a meal in the restaurant to use the Balinese sunbeds overlooking the ocean. Surely this should be included in the price of the stay? If they're highly in demand, why not institute a booking policy with a time limit? I didn't see them being used the entire time we were there, which is a real shame. Seems like a money-grab unfortunately.
Finally, the kitchens weren't quite as well equipped as we might have hoped. There was a coffee machine but no filters (and we couldn't find any in either of the nearby supermarkets, we looked!) so we couldn't use it, and we had no cutting board, so had to chop food directly onto a plate.

Thanks for your feedback. We understand about the air conditioning, the summer months can be quite intense with the heat. The bali beds are controlled by the Quo Restaurant, and although its part of the resort, it's a privately funded business. Sorry you didn't find the kitchen equipment sufficient, we do have some of these available in reception, although we understand you did not realise this. Regards Team PG

Pearly Grey is located in a nice quiet resort but is ideally located for all the main attractions on the island. Transport to these is easily accessible and tickets for most can be bought at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned on a regular basis and there is a conveniently located shop very close by for all your room needs (food, water & alcohol) There is a good selection of restaurants close by as well as the Quo restaurant on site which is open all day with entertainment in the evening.
The mundane fight for sun beds is not required here (there are some that still get up at the crack of dawn but not bad), we (two adults) got suitable beds everyday no matter what time we went down.
There are activities in the pool daily for all ages.

This was our tenth holiday accommodation during the pandemic and the only one to close all its facilities apart from the pool which really spoilt the experience. This was compounded by the smallest one bedroom s/c unit we have ever stayed in. On the plus side, it was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and lovely sea view, but not liveable in when there is nowhere else to go to sit other than a sunbed. Even for just 2 people. We felt cheated having paid pre-covid prices when late rooms were being very heavily discounted and they refused us an upgrade to a larger room unless we paid another 150 euros. Even though the resort was virtually empty.! The attitude/service from the reservations team regarding this was also very poor. I'm sure it would be a different experience with facilities open but I couldn't recommend the one bed units unless being used just as somewhere to put down your head at night.

Pearly Grey is a well maintained resort in a lovely setting. Particularly good is the "adult only" sunbathing area away from the pool. The resort is however let down by the quality and price of the food and drink at its restaurant. Enjoy the resort but eat elsewhere would be my advice.

I would highly recommend having a holiday at Pearly Grey Ocean Club. The apartment I had was booked through RCI and was superb, with a sea front view overlooking the cliffs. The apartment inside was to a very high standard and was very modern, 5*.
All the staff were very pleasant during my staff, particularly the staff at the Quo restaurant, who were very friendly. There was entertainment for both adults and children during the day by the pool, ranging from water polo, aerobics, and bingo. The person who was in charge of the entertainment was fantastic and made an effort to try and include everybody in the activities (he was brilliant). I was also pleased that the gym had reopened which had all the equipment that you needed for a workout.
The hotel is on the outskirts of adeje but this wasn't a problem as buses were regularly running and taxis were relatively cheap to the centre of adeje for you to access the nightlife. Only slight negative was that we couldn't have late checkout, which the hotel advertised, other than that I couldn't find any fault and it was a brilliant stay. I would definitely come back again.

We stayed here for two weeks and it was excellent. We had a one bedroom apartment which was a good size, very clean and the full kitchen area had everything we could have wanted. Restaurant food was also excellent. Staff couldn't do enough for you. It was our first stay but we will definitely be back.

The reception stuff, Melissa and William, were very sweet and welcoming! They answered all our questions, added AC to our room upon our request by the time we got in the room.
Everything was very clean and cleaning service for our resort type of a room was 2/week. Laundry was available for 1 euro coins (5 euro per large load and 4 euros per large dryer) which we were able to change at the reception.
Beach towels are given once per the entire stay, so don't be surprised! Also, no hair conditioner or anything extras will be found in the bath besides for watery liquid soap for hands and hair, so bring your own.
Kitchen was functional and equipped with everything needed. It was spotless clean. Fridge was a nice mid size no smell at all.
We enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony every morning (very clean outdoor furniture).
The location was perfect. Parking was available for very cheap.
Restaurants was great and stuff was very nice! Ruth, the father and a super cute daughter were great waiters, always smiled and were very warm people.
Overall we're very happy with our stay at this hotel!
