Just got back from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Coral beach Llum , Es Cana. We had the best time at this hotel . Rooms were cleaned every day , All the staff were all so pleasant and welcoming. We were in room 436 and loved the morning view of the hills and sunset in the evening. Food was plentiful and so good. Thanks for a lovely stay .

I thought I would write a review after my recent trip, I did come back with more COVID than tan but that's because it was just too hot to get out to get a tan. Anyway the hotel and location, the hotel is nice not to fancy, the entertainment is not crowd pulling. Food is good not sure what all the comments are about. There's plenty of everything and I think this is what they are referring to...Paella, now if you are expecting it to be filled to the brim with expensive sea creatures your expectations will not be fulfilled. The Paella comes out with a reasonable amount of sealife but the sharks in the queue soon scoff them down leaving the rice, now it didn't bother me as the rice on its own was lovely what did puzzle me was on other nights there was trays full of mussels and prawns and they were hardly touched, crazy. Lunch was great and so was breakfast all the normal stuff eggs cooked everyway but pouched. San Miguel on tap as well as Red White and Rose wine. You can't get a coffee after 11pm as that's when the bar closed. My only grumble was the pool bar where you could get assorted food and 4 different free ice creams, they had a habit when closing the bar 6.30pm to chuck all the leftover chips on to the bar canopy where a group of about 20 well trained seagulls had been waiting for half an hour to then swoop down and fight over the chips, now why a hotel would want to attract the seagulls is beyond me as they also attacked anyone around the pool with food as well as pooping on the furniture in the pool and on tourists,, creating unhappy holiday makers and extra work for staff to clean up the mess,,,weird. My room was clean the cleaners friendly apart from the previous occupiers had left a flossing stick clearly visible under the draw on the bedside table, even though our room was cleaned and beds made up every day that flossing stick remained there. On the last day the cleaners leave a little card for tips and I wanted to arrange my coins into an arrow pointing to the flossing stick but my wife wouldn't let me, she was probably right. The hotel also offers to let you into the restaurant earlier than 8am if you have a early flight but don't expect a full breakfast it will be fruit ham and cheese also some fruit bread and toast. The rooms we had faced the road and a small brush woodland which was fine but in the evening there is alot of traffic and people and staff talking outside which does echo and the bedroom windows are only single glazed we were also on top of the evening entertainment and the air conditioning unit for it, it sounded like the windows weren't even closed As to location this is a winner just 2 mins from door to beach or 6 mins to another beach which is prettier. This is a family resort and music is restricted to midnight over the whole resort so don't expect wild nights. Would I go there again no, would I recommend it as a cheap one week only family break yes.

I came away for a break with my mum and have just arrived home today. I read the reviews and dreaded what it was like. But if you get a cheap, good deal. That’s what you should expect.

Like above: the staff are lovely. From the reception team, to the restaurant team, to the cleaners and the pool staff. They are lovely and some really do have a laugh and get to know you!

The hotel is a good 3 star hotel. Rooms where clean and tidy and cleaned every day if you want them to be. The communal areas are also tidy and cleaned regularly. The shower in the bathroom was really powerful and the towels were changed everyday if you wanted them to be. The bathroom was cleaned and toilet rolls replenished everyday. The room is quite basic and a fridge or safe comes at an extra cost. But if you don’t want to pay for them the staff don’t tempt you too. There is a hairdryer in the room/bathroom but it’s only a 1200 speed and hot heat so if you have long hair (like me) I’d advise you to bring you’re own for speed and convenience. But it does the job if you have the time! Good wardrobe space and TV even had some English Channels available. Balcony was spacious and ashtray emptied everyday!

Drinks, bar and pool bar where great. Pool was lovely and lots of sun beds to choose from if you get up at a reasonable time. The pool was deep but good fun and The lifeguard was brilliant!

The only downfall I would say about this hotel is the food. If you like pizza and chips everyday or a fry up every morning then this is the hotel for you!!!
In my experience the food was very samey and repetitive. There is always something to eat like salad and bread even if you’re fussy like me!!! But it just became the same thing every day and night. The chefs work hard, as do the waiters/waitresses in the resturant and everything was labelled so you knew what you were eating.

There are a few lovely tourist shops and restaurants near the hotel and with in a short walking distance. I also recommend the hippy market on a Wednesday if you’re into touristy presents and random buys!

We also met some amazing and lovely people who we could have a laugh and share stories with!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay! I can’t fault how hard the staff work in this hotel. Like I said the food is very repetitive but apart from that. It’s an overall good quality 3 star hotel.

After all, a holiday is what you make it!!

Very clean hotel, with friendly staff. San Miguel on draught in an all inclusive bar with a good selection of drinks & cocktails. Emailed ahead as we were celebrating a birthday, upgraded both myself and my parents to premium rooms on the 5th floor, completely free of charge. We were very happy with rooms, cleaned daily with fresh towels. I have seen previous reviews complaining about 1 euro deposit for cups for drinks. Personally I found this to be a very good idea, there was no waste or cups left in public areas, once you return cup you receive your euro back, or receive a clean cup with fresh drink. We purchased 2 cups each and the staff were great in both the outside and indoor bar.
The dining experience could be hit and miss but we found something to eat each meal. The breakfast was lovely and hash brown were delicious. Snacks around the pool were great lots of variety all cooked fresh to order, I loved the tuna sandwiches and onion rings, my husband loved the cheese burgers. There is a ice cream freezer in front of the outside bar which you have to pay for, however if you ask the bar staff they have a selection that is free as part of the all inclusive menu. Go to this hotel with a fresh pair of eyes and an open mind and you will have a great stay as we did. This is a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for, if you want 5 star then go elsewhere and pay for the luxury 😉

Avery basic 3 star hotel that has a good location near to the small town and local beaches and amenities. The hotel is clean and tidy with decent service for food and drinks but the restaurant food is very poor in quality, quantity and variety. Previous reviews highlight this issue but at least the snack bar was a lot better although repetitive but we never went hungry at the hotel like some who had to eat out more regularly. The alcohol drinks were local but the San Miguel was drinkable but no other beer/lager options bar for spirits. The one bar opened at night shuts prompt at 11pm and room and pool area needs vacating by the latest 11.30pm so its off out or up to bed. The rooms are a bit dated but ours was cleaned every day and towels replaced and the cleaners was always smiling and polite. The pool area was ok and queuing for sun loungers is an obligatory 9am rush when the doors are opened and go quickly in main holiday periods and only the chairs around the table areas are left to use. Entertainment wasn't the best either for adults and especially the kids. This hotel could significantly improve in certain areas such as some refurbishment and upgrades but the main issue is the food for us and sadly we would not return or recommend to others until this has been addressed.

Quick check in from friendly reception staff. Be aware of the city tax which was 33 euro for 7 nights.
Foyer was attractive and cool with air con. We had paid extra for a pool view and asked for a high floor and we were not disappointed. Allocated a fifth floor corner room. Room 543 was a delight, newly refurbished with 2 balconies, one overlooking the pool and the other overlooking the road and sea. Perfect location for us. Room was big and clean. No issues at all.

Safe you had to pay for which was odd in an all inclusive but hey ho, it didn't break the bank and got deposit back at the end of the week.

Everyone mentions the plastic cups....... I thought it was a good idea as the place wasn't cluttered and was kept tidy at all times. You just get a clean one each time you get a drink and if the want 2 drinks just deposit another euro.

Now the food!! This let it down somewhat. The breakfasts were the same each day. But always something hot to eat and fresh coffee also. Lunch was OK - Same salad bar daily but it was fresh. Soup available and hot but the fish chowder was not nice at all & it was on for 2 days as no one had it.....

Evening meals were very samey each night with only Pork being cooked on the griddle. Fresh fish every night and chips every night. Pasta available but they could of put some grated hard cheese out to make it a bit better. Staff in restaurant were helpful and happy.

Bar staff were miserable - enough said about them....

Location was OK but not much going on in Es Canar at all.

Wouldn't go back to the area or to Ibiza even though we wanted a relaxing holiday and we certainly had that.

We came here for 10 days and it really impressed us!! The staff were so friendly and really good with the kids and every day apart from Sunday, there was a variety of entertainment through the day. Such as Olympic day, pirate day, water polo, mini disco, staff doing a dance along, face painting, huge water slide it was great! The bar staff were very nice and did the job apart from the coke from the outside bar was cheap coke but still did the job, the food from the outside bar ( daytime snacks ) were unreal everything was perfect from cheeseburger and chips , chicken nuggets and chips, toasties and more we all absolutely amazing!!! The pool was fairly large including a small section for kids ( shallow end) and a great deep end for adults/ some kids, lilos were also allowed which is great! Waking up for the sun beds was easy put ur towels down at 8 o clock go sleep then come back down at 9 and wherever u were in the que at 8 u go in order obviously, it was so relaxed getting the sun beds and a nice set of people, it was also great to see how busy and funny the mens water games was. The actual food in dinner hall wasn’t all to great, on Tuesdays there was a Mexican night and Thursdays there was Chinese night, the night time food was ok but the day time wasn’t good, the breakfast was well nice tho with a variety of choices!!! The outside bar is open 10:30 while 6:30 which is great! And then from 6:30 the inside bar is open! The entertainment room for a night is large including a pool table and ant hockey but we didn’t stay in for entertainment due to the heat inside of it but that wasn’t a worry not being there on a night. As with less than a 5 minute walk away from a pub called popeyes, not a very big pub but big enough had singers on every night in there and some what looked to be nice food. The staff in this pub were amazing and it had around 4 tellys of different football games on for u football fans!! I would really recommend popeyes. In around 2 minutes u could be on the beach which is wormer than the actual pool and could probably spend a day in. There is around a 10 minute walk to a hipp market and if u hear about it please Don’t bother, a waste of time literally just about 20 of the same boring stalls and no space for your self really there is a few really nice places to eat on the beach front though I must say! The rooms were very very clean and were cleaned by the maid every day. The rooms were nothing special but doesn’t need to be the aircon is good here and u can access Netflix on the tv. Also the bus journey from the airport to the hotel is 30 minutes, perfect! It is a very nice little place with people everywhere and even a little fake ground 5 minutes away ( near popeyes) everyone was friendly around es cana I would definitely come again!🍻

After an awful flight delay we were looking forward to getting to the hotel . No offer of a snack a drink .
If you want a fridge in your room it’s 50 Euros to have a key to the safe in your room it’s 10 euros deposit and 3 euros a day . They then decided that you had to pay a euro for a plastic cup if you we wanted a drink . The food was awful entertainment mostly non existent and no worth having to watch.
Rooms were old and tired and tatty but clean
We have travelled all over the world and I can honestly say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at I couldn’t wait to get home I booked through TUI and I don’t believe they should be booking their customers at this hotel

We arrived at midday and was advised the room wasn't ready as check in is at 2pm, however were told to check back at 1pm and thankfully the room was ready, so we got in early.
The food wasn't to everyone's liking, but there was so much on offer in the restaurant as well as the pool/snack bar. If you managed to go hungry because you couldn't find something to eat, there's something wrong with you to be honest.
Yes there were queues for drinks at the pool/snack bar, but I didn't spend any more than a few minutes waiting. The staff were amazingly quick and nothing seemed to be a chore for them.
As for the 1 euro per cup, I didn't mind. It meant there weren't cups left all over the pool area. We kept our cups each night to use again the next day, so we didn't have to pay 4 Euros each day.
The rooms were cleaned daily and were absolutely spotless. If you ask at reception they will give you another key card so you can keep the air con on all day.
The staff are amazing with children and there was entertainment every day.
The entertainment room was hot, but as the door is always open for the outside seating area, the air con would have been pointless.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel as value for money and for how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout our stay

Unfortunately this was not a good hotel, everyone we spoke to said the same things while we were here, firstly you have to pay deposit for a cup, you get this back but have big ques to line up for your 1euro per cup (we couldn’t be bothered so ended up paying 4euro a day in deposited and didn’t get any of them back) the air cons are so poor in all rooms theres basically no point in them, the hotel entrainment is indoors in a extremely hot room, poor entertainment staff preforming for 6 people as everyone goes outside or down to bars on main strip. Charlie’s bar is the best, lovely little strip and beach. The food in hotel is low on choice and not great but what I expected from a all inclusive 3 star hotel. Not enough sunbeds by at least half the hotel and the pool is deep so everyone ended up squashed up same end. We checked out at 12am but our transfer to airport was at 11pm and we were offered a room to shower in after long day at pool, given 20mins slot for two people (ended up with 10mins to wash as everyone ran over) and room was not cleaned all day after each person soaking towels in floor. A room that has been used all week as peoples rubbish cups mud sand all over the place. We had to use our own towels as no fresh towels after each person and then put wet towels in our suitcase. Honestly this hotel really needs to sort it out. We read some great reviews before we left but it’s recently been taken over by new management and it’s clearly gone down since if you look at recent reviews) lovely resort would come back just not this hotel.

Overall:
Hotel is a 3* and it doesnt pretend to be anything else. It is clean, staff are really friendly, some new opening issues such as: one of the lifts broke for 7 days of our trip, no menus anywhere, no food was labeled, really short staffed at times meaning long queues, food wasn't replenished and basics were missing such as butter & ketchup. Housekeeping came everyday but sometimes missed toilet roll or only gave half a roll, they also walked in unannounced & without knocking a couple of times. We paid £380 for 11 nights, flights, transfers so absolutely cannot complain.

Pool bar:
Cocktails are really strong, service was generally good and no questions on how many drinks you order. You can get snacks here, they had a full menu by the time which had burgers, salads, toasties, nuggets and pizzas. At first was only halves but by the last day you could have a pint or half. The spirits displayed are branded but you are served unbranded bottled spirits. The beer is San Miguel

Food:
Breakfast - wasn't replenished enough so just was egg, egg or egg at some points.  But generally was a decent enough spread with meats, cheeses, usual sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, yogurts, bread, toast, cereal
Lunch/dinner - Average. A salad bar which is fresh and good variety, different pastas, rice's, curry, fish, paella, chicken, pork steak, breads. Every night chefs are cooking fish/meats. One evening we came to dinner at around 8pm but the only options were chips, green beans, jacket potatoes, mini roasties and fish. Desserts are all sponge/cream cakes (bland tasting, all the same) yogurt, nuts, fruit etc. Mini ice cream pots.
Bar - Slow at times as it was understaffed. All measures are huge but it's all fake alcohol so takes a few to get a buzz on. The beer is also San Miguel.

Entertainment: I feel awful because I can't remember her name but one lovely lady was running most of the entertainment. At the poolside there was aqua gym, mini disco and activities such as archery and pool. Evening entertainment included a magician, singers, comedian, music/film quiz. The entertainment was very Butlins/Blackpool/Benidorm

There are 4 small shops nearby which sell food, drink, toys, inflateables and holiday tat.
