We had a great time at Damai. The staff were laid back and nice, helped us with food recommandations that really hit the spot. The beds were really comfy. Not very clean, bur the beds seemed ok. No party noice, and great view to some nice, little cows.

We stayed for 9 days and I am so glad I chose this place. Good location near the beach(although we decided that the beach area in front of Chill out Bar/Zipp bar was more suitable for us as we have 3 small children -nice sand to built castles :) and turqoise water). We booked the family room and a budget room(but...

Gili Air is lovely, and staying at Damai homestay makes it even better. The staff is friendly, the room is good and the breakfast is delicious. They've got a livingroom where you can meet other travelers and have your breakfast, but if you prefer you can have breakfast at your own terrace. You can use snorkelingmasks for free and they...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Damai Homestay, and Van is a super-host through and through. She helped organize our transportation from Ubud with a private driver and tickets for SindEX and we arrived seamlessly to Gili Air. When we arrived, we were treated to a delicious iced lime juice drink by one of the other staff, and Van...

Everyone was very helpful, the breakfest is freshly made, very tasty and the coffee and the hot chocolat were the best we had during our whole time. Everything is well organized and extra...

Stayed here for four nights in a larger room with a hammock on the porch. The facilities here are a bit basic like most places on the island, but the homestay is well run by the lovely French hosts. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and an excellent mosquito net (the best on our six month trip). I found all of...

Very cute homestay. Lovely communal area. Good but basic breakfast. Free snorkelling gear was a great bonus! As was free water. Friendly and helpful staff who told us the best places to go on the island. Easy walk from the main restaurants/ bars etc. We were also able to do laundry here which was good for us.
