The setting was stunning and the Adults Only pool area was a godsend. We enjoyed using the pool and the facilities in this area. Our junior suite was spacious and the beds comfortable. The cleaning service was also very good. What seriously marred our stay here was the food- it’s all inclusive. The food, although plentiful, was consistently of a very poor quality. The bread was dry in the morning for breakfast and all cooked items were consistently cold - having sat in the buffet for elongated periods of time. The quality of the cheese and ham was very poor. There was plenty of cake. The lunches and evening meal, again, we’re tepid in temperature and even on the rare occasion something was served hot it was tasteless. We had undercooked pork souvlaki one day from the live cooking station, and completely cold beef spare ribs another day from the same cooking station. Cold pork gyros in bread with cold chips and fillings inside. Nothing, bar the soup, was served at the correct temperature in our opinion and although there was a Microwave to heat up the buffet food it was not easy to use and not always functional. The drinks were also of a poor quality- the daily cocktail on the all inclusive package was usually sickly sweet. The gin did not taste like gin, neither did the vodka. We ended up drinking Ouzo instead. The all inclusive package does not include water, and you are not given milk in your room for your tea and coffee and directed to the supermarket to buy it. Along with the water. We did not actually enjoy any of the food at this hotel, bar the soup, as the quality was so poor and served cold. Quite a problem on an 8 night stay. We went to bed hungry a few times until we decided to go out to local restaurants for our lunches/evening meals. It put a real downer on our stay here. Another thing to bear in mind is that this hotel is predominantly for French people. All the information is only in French, you cannot book a tour at the tour desk if you are not French. And all animation and entertainment is exclusively in French. We were very isolated as English people and not part of it at all.

We were originally booked to go on a cruise which was cancelled due to Covid-19 so once the easing of the lockdown kicked in, we booked for Majorca which was then added to Scottish quarantining on return so we changed the booking to this hotel in Kos. I have to say that we were overwhelmed by the view from the adults only pool, (which was one of three pools) and the tranquil and relaxed vibe it gave off. The room was spotlessly clean and the room attendants were fantastic and created animals from fresh towels when making the room up which was amusing and a nice touch. The entertainment team were fantastic and full of energy as they were on the go from breakfast time until the all inclusive finished at 23:00. At our time of travel, around 90% of the hotel guests were French so the entertainment was predominately directed at French guests however, we weren't put off as the team were very funny and put on different shows each night. The food was superb and possibly the best all inclusive food we've had anywhere, it was full of flavour, warm, plentiful and from all countries. The entire hotel staff were excellent, very helpful, attentive and pleasant especially Eleftheria at the adult pool bar, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived at 23:15 in the evening and our room had a bottle of wine waiting for us with sandwiches and fruit and a lovely card from the Hotel Manager, "Mr Tony" to welcome us and we have to mention Mr Tony in more detail as he is probably the best Hotel Manager I have ever had the pleasure to meet, he worked tirelessly, 14-15 hours daily but still made time to have a chat with as many people as he could and one evening he chatted with myself and my wife for some time whilst showing us pictures of his beautiful family as they live on a different island and as we chatted, it showcased Mr Tony's knowledge, skills and immense experience in the hospitality industry and not to mention the six languages he speaks so thank-you Mr Tony, it was a pleasure to have met you Sir and thank-you to your entire staff for a truly memorable holiday. We will without question return to this wonderful hotel.

The hotel had 3 first class swimming pools, our favourite was the adult only 45 metre infinity pool, spotlessly clean and fantastic for a long swim. The food was fantastic, every day we had a different choice of tasty food, salads, hot food and desserts for lunch and dinner, always freshly cooked and superbly laid out. All the staff were very helpful, everybody in reception, the three bars (two alongside the pools, Mihai was the barman at the 45 metre pool) and the restaurant staff, all excellent. The room was ready for us well in advance of the booking in time, which really helped us, as our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning. It was our first time in an all inclusive hotel and we were not disappointed with the experience, a big thank you to all the staff at Zorbas who really made our stay a relaxing and excellent experience. I have seen some reviews where there were complaints about the use of French spoken by other hotel guests, my experience was extremely positive on hearing French spoken, all the staff spoke good English (sadly nobody spoke Welsh) and numerous other languages and were always helpful and eager to help. The cabaret in the evening was in French but was always very good value as the enthusiasm of the staff was infectious and great fun.

Unnaceptable noise until almost midnight with disgusting cheeky music and on-stage animators targeted exclusively to old french people that probable had a sad life and need to prove how young they are at the age of 65. If you are not a cheeky 65yo french person, do not book in this hotel. You will regret. The cheap price is not worth it if you want a proper relaxation time unless you belong in said group. It's extremely sadening because the staff is lovely, super warm and welcoming and the whole atmosphere is ruined by this animator crew. Not to mention everyone will speak french to you regardless of your nationality,it becomes disrespectful after you insist you are not french and even appologise for not speaking french. Another good thing is the food. For a cheap all inclusive it is surprisingly good with a variety of greek and international foods (even with thematic country specific dishes). I need to stress again that the staff is just amazing, clearly working 12h a day (I see the same staff working late at midnight that is working early the next day at 7am, surprisingly with a warm good morning and a smile on their face just to get a minimum wage - if even - and survive in a struggling country). This hotel management should take care of their staff and general customers better, rather than acting almost xenophobe by bringing 99% french people without advising non-french people about what is actually going to happen. I started with just getting the all inclusing stuff but turned into a tipper to make my best to keep this amazing staff with their heads up.

Zorbas Beach is a lovely hotel in a great location close to the town of tigaki a 15 minute walk, right on a beautiful beach with lovely backdrop of the mountains, it’s a 4 star hotel,we stayed in a superior room which are lovely well kept clean rooms, the all inclusive option is all house spirits and beer and wine and food is basic but plenty of variety for everyone, the staff are what make this hotel,Mary on reception is lovely and so friendly, there is a down side for English tourists unless you are fluent in french, as the hotel is french ran everything including entertainment and menus and even beauty spa is french the whole staffing system were surprised we were there and were told and noticed we were the only English people to visit but for someone who isn’t interested in evening entertainment wasn’t a great issue except for the noise it’s definitely a place for families who like day time and night time fun and games, it’s noisy and the entertainment goes on till past midnight at weekends and 11pm during the week, I’m sure this would be great for some people but as a couple looking for a relaxing break and some peace and quiet away from noise and work I wouldn’t return here for that reason only, even at 7.30am the entertainment staff are awake and working, poor guys work non stop and are great, but too early and too loud. The hotel is lovely and no complaints except the noise, luckily as there are 3 pools so you can get away from the day time noise to relax but evening as every room is within distance of the stage you have no choice but to listen to whatever’s going on. Can’t complain about anything as the hotel is immaculately ran and clean and has everything you need. Staff are what makes the service brilliant.

Just came back from a lovely week away at the Zorbas Beach, I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loved it so decided to return however I did not realise the ownership had changed and is now a French hotel, not really a problem however all staff and guests are French including all the entertainment at night. The staff that could speak English were really friendly and seemed delighted that we were English and made an effort to speak to us, the lady at reception with long dark hair was particularly friendly and helpful. When we first went to our room we were pleasantly surprised, the room was huge, clean and had an amazing sea view, we only booked a standard room however was put in a suite which was great. As we arrived late at the hotel they left us dinner and drinks in our room which was a lovely touch! All 3 pool areas are very good especially the beach front pool, we avoided the main pool because it was quite noisy with pool activities going on, there is also an adults only pool with a bar which looks over on to the beach which is lovely. The location of the hotel is good, right on the beach front. The walk into the main town is quite far but once it's cooled down In the evening it only take 20 ish minutes, Tigaki town is great with some lovely restaurants. The all inclusive food/drinks at the hotel is just okay, some days the food was good other days not so good. Breakfast was probably the best for food. The variety of the food was amazing always different choices and a huge salad bar however the quality of the food is what lets it down, the food is very basic and not great quality and the same with the drinks. Over all the hotel is lovely and very good value for money, the amazing room, staff, location and pools make up for the 'okay' food. Would stay again!

Just returned from one week with my family and I was so disappointed with the all inclusive and hotel, drinks where flat and of cheap quality, food ok nothing special but utensils dirty and baby high chairs broken and dirty. The room was the best point big and clean the maid was fantastic, we ended up staying out a lot and spending more money as a result of the hotel quality. All the entertainment was in French so we didn't understand any of it. Didn't go in the pool as it looked to loud and of putting when you have small children. Would never stay as this hotel again.

Myself and my boyfriend are just back from a week all inclusive at Zorbas. First thing to say - if you're not French, the staff will love you!!! We're from Scotland, and the staff all seem delighted to be able to speak English considering its a French Resort (we didn't know this when we booked!) Resort is very clean, it's about a 15 minute walk to the main village, very quiet, and overall a great experience. There is entertainment but from what we saw, very cringeworthy! The only thing I would say is that the food is just OK. Breakfast was the same every day, which wasn't nice, and lunch & dinner was a hit or a miss. It didn't help when you're trying to choose what to eat and you're getting barged out the way by a whole heap of French folk!!! Salad was always fresh though. Special mention to Mary who worked at reception - she was fab, very helpful, and smiley! Also there was a lady who cooked fresh pasta every night - very polite!
