Set in Tigak on the north coast. Mediterranean style with two fabulous outdoor pools. One in the sunshine with a pool bar with loads of free sunloungers and towels. The other in the centre of the hotel with shaded areas. We had a superior double room which was fantastic. Beds so comfortable with hard or soft pillows. Huge shower room with large pump dispensers of shampoo, body lotion and liquid soap. Nice sun terrace. Good air con. Daily cleaning service kept the rooms immaculate. TV, fridge, kettle and coffee making facilities, WiFi and free safety deposit box.
Breakfast buffet was on the roof terrace. Huge choice of cereals, fruit, cold meats and cheese with fresh bread and cooked breakfast food. There were also mini freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolate and muffins. Plus plentiful supply of fruit juices and coffee. Open 7-11 am.
They have a fantastic restaurant called The Kitchen on the ground floor serving delicious stylish food at good prices. Spaghetti with tomato and basil was 7-8 euros. Stelios waiter was very friendly and professional.
The reception staff were extremely helpful going to great lengths to find me some English books carrying out a heavy box of about 30. Alexandra I was especially helpful.
The hotel is located 5 minutes from the beach where there are lots of tavernas. It is on the Main Street but the hotel itself is very quiet.. There is a bus stop a short walk away with buses to Kos Town at 2.10 euros. Kos Town has a very pretty port and lots of old cobbled streets with shops for clothes and souvenirs although we found the olive oil soaps in the Olive Market in Tigaki were great gifts at 1-2 euros. All in all a fantastic place to stay..

I would give this hotel 4.5 stars if I could. Stayed for 12 nights 28th Jun - 10th Jul, package holiday with Jet2. Requested via e-mail prior to arrival a top floor (3rd) and got exactly that. Room was Deluxe double (521) which was lovely, large and modern, very clean and new looking. Bed huge and very comfy. Best shower I have had in Greece. Toilet needed a fan or window, very hot in there! Balcony overlooked back of hotel with field and mountain view. Room service was hit and miss, some days great but others no towels left, dirty glasses not changed, balcony never brushed/cleaned. Bed making worse than mine! Little things like a box of tissues in the room would be nice, there were no extra touches. Air con/fan was useless, couldn't get the room lower than 25 degrees all holiday, the colder air just blew upwards from the unit, almost as if it was upside down!
Location was perfect (and why we chose the hotel), right on the 'strip' and less than 5 mins walk to the beach. Very quiet in the rooms though, no noise from the street at all. Breakfast ok, the standard offerings but the toaster was awful, it didn't toast! The juice and coffee were not the best but you could pay for proper juice/coffee, I find this annoying in a 4 star hotel. Half board plus option allows you to eat at the buffet or book one of 3 restaurants on the strip. 3 starters to share and then choice of 2 main, followed by a dessert. Glass of wine/beer or soft drink inc. We enjoyed The Kitchen by far the most, amazing food there. Paran was nice on the beach front but we were not so keen on Cantina. Buffet was limited, we only ate there once.
Two pools, both quite small and by 7am when my partner went to the gym each morning (which he said was a good well equipped gym) the sunbeds were all reserved with towels! We were not bothered as we are beach people but beware if you prefer the pool. Didn't look our scene at all round the pools, Instagram pics looked a priority! Beach highly recommended, beautiful golden sand for miles! Lots of good comfy sunbeds to hire, €10 for two and a parasol (we liked Gelato ice-cream ones).
Hotel staff great, very friendly and helpful. Reception very helpful and bar girls lovely. Overall a great holiday and we loved Tigaki.

We arrived on a Monday afternoon, our room was ready straight away and we were blown away at the simplistic and stylish interior. The aircon was already on, along with the fan so it provided a safe cool space to escape the heat. There was a mini fridge, and a big bottle of water next to the kettle. We plugged our own firestick into the TV which was very easy to do, and the WiFi was more than quick enough to replicate our WiFi back home.

We had dinner most nights in the kitchen over the buffet,l choice, and it was absolutely incredible. We cannot believe it was included in the price. It definitely makes the half board plus worth the extra money!

We read in some reviews that it was difficult to get sun loungers by the pool due to people reserving them by leaving towels on them, but we didn’t experience this. We often would come back after midday and still be able to get a space by the pool. There’s also signs in the tables between the pairs of loungers politely asking not to reserve. The beach is a 2minute walk as a suitable alternative also.

Everything at the hotel is reasonably priced at both bars, and at the kitchen restaurant when having lunch at the hotel.

There is a supermarket a 10 minute walk away from the hotel that’s very reasonably priced, along with several smaller mini-markets within 1-2 minutes either side of the hotel that are more convenient. We often visited there to get drinks and snacks for our room!

There isn’t anything at the hotel that we can pick fault in. The shower in our room could do with a new shower head as the water sprayed in every direction apart from out the middle, however that’s a minor inconvenience. There are two showers located in the pool’s WC next to the toilets that we used a few times as our room was right next door.

Every single member of staff was lovely, especially the bartender at the pool bar that we spoke to most days.

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel, and are looking at coming back for a few days ourselves next year.

We stayed for 2 weeks in July at this Hotel which had a lovely vibe to it.

The hotel was clean and all staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for you The buffet was anazing. The buffet had a variety of different foods every day and with a package of the half board plus we could eat at the different restaurants that are part of the same hotel group. Our favourite was ‘The Kitchen’ where we had the most amazing pasta dish.

We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was quite spacious with a separate lounge.

Although the hotel was on the main road, there was no road noise and very quiet as most rooms where at the back of the hotel.

Our rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed too. The bed was as big as a Queen size which was quite comfortable. We also had clean pool towels every day.

The downside was the handheld shower over the bath, which was difficult to control as water went all over the floor unless you actually put a towel at the end of the bath to stop the water running on the floor.

Also, the fridge was very small and wasn’t cold enough and limited to what you could store in there.

Tigaki it’s a lovely small resort, and only a short way to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants on the stretch of the road.

It was also quite difficult to get a sun bed by the pool, unless you put your towel on the beds in the morning from about 7.00am which you weren’t really allowed to do so.

However, you were allowed to use the facilities for the sister hotel across the road or go to the sandy beach.

All in all Tigaki is a lovely resort with lots of lovely restaurants and of course the weather.

One last thought, the hotel is a beautiful, looking boutique hotel and so it does tend to attract young trendys with not many families and children.

If you want quiet and relaxation then this resort this is for.

More Meni Residence is a beautifully updated hotel on the main street of Tigaki. The staff are amazing, friendly, kind and so helpful. I've stayed here twice- once in August and once in September for a total of 3 weeks. I stayed in the upstairs rooms which are big and comfortable where I was able to easily work remotely from the living room area. There are 2 pools with plenty of sunbeds and the restaurant and bar in the front are stylish, welcoming and relaxed. Delicious and generous breakfast was included which is served just down the street at the sister hotel. Perfect location close to everything you need including the beach!
I will be back next season, without a doubt.

The location of this hotel is so good the path of the hotel goes onto the road you cross the road to a path to the sun beds.
The sunbeds are so good movable by you or the beach man will move them for you. You can book a set sunbeds for a week and get payment put to your room or pay by cash or card on the beach.

I’ve been to Tigaki, many times, but the first staying at the More Menei. The hotel is in a supurb location , right on the Main Street down to the beach.it is also very quiet and chilled inside. The design is amazing in all the public spaces and it’s really chic, cool and modern.
The two pools are very nice, although quite small and worst thing was the other guests, lots of towels on beds at 7am reserving them.
This is a adults Hotel and attracts the British Love Island crowd, who act very strangely lots of swimming as a couple, all over each other, twirling each other around and it’s all a bit uncomfortable for other guests, and I’m not over exaggerating but there were at least 6 couples, in a very small pool at the most times, it various quite intimate positions, not the hotels fault I know but it attracts this type.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all really nice, great cleaning as well.
The thing that ilet it down for me was the room, we had a junior suite which was nice to look at , nice comfy bed , living room and two tvs, but they are quite dark and because it’s a terrace hotel, not a lot of sunlight , the bathroom though was the biggest letdown, quite dated, very dark , bad lighting , the tiles and grouting were grubby and the shower was terrible ,a handheld thing, and a glass shower screen that was difficult to get round, the shower was like something from a caravan , really basic and not something, I would expect from a 300 pound a night hotel.
This would need to be updated if we were to return and it was quite a disappointment, it’s a nice hotel , but possibly would return to the sister hotel across the road,
As I say lots to love but a few downsides.

We’ve just got back from our weeks stay and the hotel itself is lovely, boho vibes and clean. The location is perfect right on the main road full of bars, shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach.

We went bed and breakfast and had breakfast a couple of times which was nice but we still preferred to eat out.

We never really used the pool only at the end of the day for a quick dip as we couldn’t get any sun loungers unless you was down there by 7am as it’s not very big so we went to the beach instead.

We stayed in a suite but on my booking I asked for a deluxe double, most people may wonder why but when looking at the photos I much preferred the layout of the deluxe double than the suite but it was fine. My only criticism would be that the aircon wasn’t great! The unit was only in the bedroom too meaning you would wake up to go into the bathroom or living area and it would be absolutely red hot! We would leave our spare key card in so that the aircon kept on all day but sometimes the maids would take it out meaning when we came back sometimes at the end of the day and the whole suite would be so hot which is not what you want when you’ve been in the sun all day.

The shower also needs to be looked at as water would splash out all over the floor, thankfully there is a drain away.

That aside I would definitely stay here again and the hotel cat is the cutest thing ever!! I was obsessed with him

The staff don’t seem to make any effort to interact or speak to guests. I have stayed in 10 other hotels in Tigaki and the reception and bar staff have always been friendly and approachable, greeting guests daily. You’re made to feel invisible here. The cleaning service is appalling. On one day, they half made the bed but left all the pillows throw on all of our clothes in the open wardrobe. They have forgotten to leave new toilet roll, and brought the ashtray full of cigarette butts in from the balcony, presumably to empty it. But left it in our bedroom which now smells of stale cigarette butts. On another occasion, the fresh towels were discarded in the middle of the floor? It’s almost like the cleaners forget what they’re doing halfway through?! The breakfast has often been cold, however there is a large variety of options. The hotel looks lovely, however extremely impersonal and I’m disappointed with the level of cleanliness. Especially for a 4* hotel. The pool area is lovely, albeit the pool is FREEZING. This hotel may be to some people’s taste but certainly not mine, and I wouldn’t stay here again.
