I stayed Fota Island after Christmas for a wedding. It was very pleasant & I had a lovely time. However it is not 5*. The bedrooms were average and bathroom toiletries were very average. We received a bill for a meal which we had paid for in the restaurant. This was resolved but a hiccup none the less. I did...

I stayed here in a 2 bed house for a 2 night stay and it was amazing. It was simply the best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. The whole house was spotless, the bedrooms were en suite, very spacious and best of all a very comfortable bed. Downstairs the living area blended seamlessly into the dining/stroke kitchen...

Loved everything about our stay. My favourite place to stay in cork and one of my favourite places to stay in Ireland. Definitely worth a visit. The rooms were amazing and having the grounds and wild life park so close just makes it one of the ultimate stays. Cannot comment on the food as we only had breakfast there but...

The staff and ground floor of the hotel are lovely. The bar food was tasty and reasonably priced. But its not 5 star quality.some parts such as public loos and corridoors are shabby. The floors are noisy and on the 1st floor you can hear all the music from weddings below. The bedrooms are basic and lacking a wow factor....

Check-in, concierge services excellent. Room of good size and bathroom good quality. Were on Dinner B&B package, which caused some small difficulties in the dining area, as main restaurant was closed and all meals taken in bar area. Food was excellent and service acceptable. Most of staff are local. Difficulties when paying the bill due to confusion over our package....

The Plus Points - A very nice hotel ( 5 star I`m not sure) We had a 2 night stay in a classic king room, breakfast and dinner. The room had all the features you would expect. Breakfast was the usual fare, fresh and plenty of it. Dinner was served in the bar as the hotel was quiet, the menu...
