We booked this hotel since it was not far from the Cliffs of Moher. This hotel is very picturesque and charming. Our room was alluring and so cozy and had everything one could need. It had a very relaxing atmosphere and our view was breathtaking. Not one complaint.

A family dinner which was a lovely experience from start to finish. John and Brid and their waitress are most welcoming. The food was excellent, a most enjoyable dinner. There were two children, they had a there own menu and were given colours and pictures to colour great distraction while the adults ate.

From the moment we arrived at the lodge a sense of calm and relaxation overtook us. It was so clean with a home feel that also felt luxurious. The staff were lovely couldn't be friendlier and the food in the restaurant was amazing. We came as a couple but would definitely bring the children and family the next time.

The photos on the website don't tell the real story. This hotel is n a great location and has very nice "self catering" accommodation and a beautiful dining room but plastic table cloths for evening meals - no ! he staff are really friendly, the food is good but ..... the outside is very shabby - I dont expect to... We recently stayed five nights at Red Cliff while visiting County Clare. Our rooms were perfect for our four-person family. The location is excellent -- Spanish Point is a lovely locale, to begin with, and the lodge is right across from the beach. John and Brid, the proprietors, are delightful -- quick to respond to requests, friendly, and professional. The... More

We were very impressed with our suite and enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant, this is a truly fabulous place to stay. The only negative was the shower, really not up to scratch, very poor pressure. This is easily rectified and worth doing. If we had been staying longer it would have been annoying and not what you expect... More

Had the pleasure of a 2 night stay in suite 6 recently & it's impossible to find fault with Red Cliff! We had 2 babies with us, using 2 travel cots & the separate bedroom was brilliant for letting them have their naps & us parents having some peace & quiet! The suite has everything a family could need, plenty... More

Nearly right up on the cliffs at Spanish Point, 25-minutes or so away from the Cliffs of Moher, this place was awesome. First of all, the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful--this set the tone for our stay at check-in itself. The room we booked, the Junior Suite overlooking the sea (Room 1), was fantastic--very spacious, clean, comfortable and... More
