We stayed for two nights at Doxford Hall in the company of friends who had previously stayed at the hotel. Doxford Hall is an elegant and attractive building. Check-in was efficient and the receptionist friendly. Our room was spacious but a little disappointing in that soft furnishings were quite dated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. I would...

This hotel advertises through Living Social for a 1 night deal at £139. Took up the offer on 28/12/2016 which was available till 31/3/2017. There was a £30 premium to stay on a Saturday night so the Friday night was the only suitable time to stay as I work during the week and I am not local to the hotel....

My daughter booked the afternoon tea for mothers day. This 19th century building, elegant and grand rooms, we had afternoon tea in the morning room. Beautifully decorated. Very nice staff, professional but friendly, afternoon tea was delicious, with sandwiches, cakes and lovely homemade scones. And mothers were given a lovely plant which was a very nice touch. We had a...

Stayed one night at this great hotel. Large suite with very comfy bed and big bathroom with separate shower. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Brilliant chef- dinner in the restaurant was probably one of the best meals we have enjoyed in a long time. Would highly recommend it.

We stayed one night in an upgraded room and loved it. All of the staff were smiling and friendly, the grounds were pretty although only daffodils out at this time of year and the overall feel of the hotel was very good. We enjoyed a gin and tonic before dinner and loved the way it was presented with juniper berries....

Our children bought us a two night stay as a Christmas present and in a word it was 'wonderful'. On our arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our room by Lee, who is a credit to the hotel. The room was lovely, however on opening a window there was a noise from the swimming pool extractor fan which...

Just returned from a nice relaxing weekend at the hotel. Staff were excellent and very accommodating nothing too much trouble and everyone very friendly. Spa was nice and relaxing and just what we needed to relax. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent with fantastic service. Our room was an upgrade and whilst large and comfy did lack some attention...

Spent a wonderful day with my friend on a voucher i'd bought her for her birthday present ...the lunch alone made it the best £55 I've ever spent! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great , a bit disappointed the steam room wasn't working but heyho things break. We were slightly taken aback when we were told we had to dress...
