Just had a 3 night secret escapes break at Doxford Hall. For £20 extra we were allowed to take our 2 small dogs. We had a huge room and bathroom, very comfortable beds. Received a daily weather report and where to go sheet. The main restaurant is pretty pricey, but delicious. If you want a cheaper option there is a...

We recently spent 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) at Doxford Hall. Overall it was a pleasant stay, our room was a good size and had a jacuzzi/bubble bath. The hotel is set in lovely rural grounds. We ventured out on a short walk with directional arrow signs to help. The ground was too wet to attempt the impressive maze. We...

This was our Third stay at this wonderful Hall. We found the staff.... EVERYONE OF THEM!.... so pleasant and helpfull and the food was perfect. All the rooms we have had, have been clean and styled in keeping, with the Hall. What more could anyone ask for?

So relaxing we both fell fast asleep by the pool. Food so good we are still going on about it 3 days later. So peaceful even though it was full. Because of dogs, kids and horses we don't really do holidays but we try to do nights away to recharge the batteries. This is by far the best place we...

This hotel was very homely as soon as we set foot through the main doors. The reception was very welcoming and very friendly. The décor was inkeeping with the period of the hotel and our bedroom was very spacious with en suite very well equipped. The food at the restaurant was superb and the tasters after each course were a...

A lovely overnight DB&B package with friends, we had to upgrade to a deluxe room to get the date we wanted for an extra £30 as the standard rooms with the deal had all been taken but didn't mind. Lovely old building with nice parquet flooring sparkling in some late afternoon sunshine. Reception staff lovely, we were shown straight up...

Stayed one night using a Living Social voucher. All staff friendly and helpful with the exception of the restaurant manager who appeared to have lost all signs of any personality. Maybe it was just a very busy evening and everyone can have an off day. We were given a time of 9pm to eat but we're not taken into the...

Well what can I say! I stayed here before with my sister for a spa night and loved the place, the staff and the food. My husband booked this as a birthday treat knowing I liked the place and he was certainly not disappointed. Upgraded to a room above reception and it was luxury the gorgeous bath even had its...
