Okay, so the food was good and a steal considering it's the North. The staff was super friendly and helpful at both the restaurant and hotel. Now with the good stuff out of the way, let me just tell you the rooms are gross. The furniture was dingy and old. The walls needed new paint, the washroom was rusty and...

Once you are done with visiting Rankin Inlet and surrounding beautiful arctic nature, you MUST stop in at the Siniktarvik Hotel's restaurant and order an arctic char wrap with sweet potato fries ....you will not regret!

Had to stay here because the other amenities were booked due to a convention in town. This hotel is terrible and, much like the other reviews, would be the last pick of hotels in this little town. Stayed here more that 5 days for work and housekeeping NEVER managed to get my room cleaned even ONCE! Obviously the management doesn't manage....

Stayed here 1 night in Jun'15 as aircrew stopping through town. Other reviewers have rated this place quite poorly, but you're in the arctic. Everything is old, dingy, and expensive. This is a solid average hotel for the area. Front desk staff accomodated our late check in around midnight and stayed open to provide room keys. Business centre worked with...

Seriously the restaurant is frightening. A chicken sandwich which might as well be vegetarian- better described as gravy and salt sandwich. Grubby and tired. Water with the meal was cloudy and gritty - but it's never wise to drink the water. There isn't much choice but I would buy food at the Northern or Coop and eat in the room...

Calm Air flight was mechanical so they put us up in the Sinik. The room was standard, average, nothing to write home or really complain about. The beds were clean, the bathroom was a little dated but clean.. the only thing that was nasty was the stains on the walls from the tobacco chew. If you're going to spit everywhere,...

By southern standards would be middle of the road. When in the arctic you have fewer options. The location is great, near hamlet, banks, stores. There are better places to stay but consider the weather. I was there in Jan. I had one of the updated rooms. It was what I expected. Clean and comfortable enough. The staff are friendly...

$270 plus tax for an old and disgusting room. Big sticker on the phone saying you must not use it. Got send away twice for breakfast; other guests are more important.

At over 200.00 dollars a night you would expect at least a bed frame under the bed. Tiles were lifting off the bathroom floor and needed just basic upkeep. Dont think the front desk clerk could even crack a smile if you asked her. Would not even call a cab for us and told us to use the pay phone...

I was trapped in this hotel for 3 nights because of a flight delay, in transit. I know the other reviews are terrible, but I have great memories of this place. Yes, the rooms were small and dingy, but hey, you're in the Arctic!! I had the best sleep here -- I remember the rooms being cozy. The best part...
