Kolahoi Green Resorts Pahalgam has earned acclaim for its spacious and immaculate rooms, adorned with modern amenities and charming decor, although a few guests found room size and location to be less than ideal. Nestled near the Lider River, the resort is often described as a serene hidden gem. The on-site amenities, including beautiful gardens and river views, are popular among guests, although accessibility can be challenging for some. The cleanliness of the resort consistently receives high marks, contributing to the tranquil atmosphere that guests enjoy. Service is generally regarded as exceptional, with the staff's hospitality standing out, despite occasional lapses. While the resort's value is noted for competitive rates and reasonably priced food, a few guests have had experiences that led them to question this aspect.

Super yummy spread of dishes and the f&b staff even ask for special requests . Very affordable prices as well.
Rooms are hygienic and spacious
Front office staff are so warm and courteous
Would totally recommend to anyone staying in pahalgam

We being from Mumbai and a Jain had thought in mind that being in North India with non veg diet being basic food, I never thought that we would be served in such a lavish way. We were a group of 7 with 2 kids and an infant. Being a Jain they saw to it that they commit no mistake. Since our food was not available in buffet, they served us whatever we asked for without any hesitation. The food quality was amazing. Being a person from western India and expecting a good South Indian food is also something unrealistic. The South Indian food in breakfast and dinner was very decent. We also enjoyed the Poha, we didn’t miss Mumbai. On the last day in Pahalgam we were a bit bored with North Indian food, so they made for us dal khichadi as well as a light item for the stomach.
We would like to thank the following staff specifically for their good gesture-
Salahaudin
Rouf
Aabid
Javed
Mumtaz

Now about the rooms… We were allotted cottage for stay. The rooms were very well equipped with room heater. The rooms were warm even in 2 degree temperature and consistent flow of hot water round the clock.

Amazing property and very good hospitality.

Definitely we would recommend you to stay there during your stay to Pahalgam.

This property is quite scenic with Lidder river flowing right in front, but across the road.
The heating, wi fi, tv works perfect which we missed at our stay at other hotels in Kashmir.

The property has nice lawns and plenty of sun to soak in.
The food menu is elaborate ,both for breakfast and dinner, to suit all tastes, Mr Shabir ,the chef is innovative and churned out some interesting items.the hospitality team of Sameer Ahmed, Amir Bashir and Yasir Shah took personal interests in the guests to make us comfortable.
The staff are overall polite

The deluxe rooms are indeed small and there is decent walk from entrance to the rooms.Hence old people or people with walking disabilities need to keep this in mind.

We a group of 6 couples booked this resort after reading the reviews on trip advisor but were really disappointed with the quality and size of rooms which lacked even the basic amenities like a safe locker in the room .
The size of the rooms was too small for the price that we paid and some rooms with a ceiling height of less than 6 feet without any ceiling fan.
The front office staff was very arrogant and refused to accommodate us in another rooms despite our offer of paying extra charges for higher category rooms.
However the best part was the F & B which made us happy with their excellent service.
Overall a sad experience in checkout and would not recommend if you are looking for luxury by paying 10500/- for gold standard

.

Despite a beautiful property and good food, I would rate Kolahai greens as average due to its poor hospitality and lack of attention on guests by its mid to senior management. We were a group of 27 people with 11 room nights per day ( 33 room nights) and booked the property 2 months in advance, despite that and despite a clear request that we wish to stay as a group, we were given 3 rooms in the main building which was far away from the cottages and the main building room were fairly small. The rooms do not have ACs and given the climate change hotel management needs to put ACs or else like we were bound to sweat in the rooms, other guests will find it miserable.
2 people had their 50th birthday celebrated at the hotel. Typically in other properties, it will be hotel management which will take initiative to add to the celebration in their own small way but these people with super cold response charged for the tiny cakes. In the 3 days of stay GM, while in the property, never bothered to meet the team leader and F&B manager never came to enquire about the food. The Sevice shuts down at 10 pm and nothing is available till 7 am. Any order, as small as tea, took 30 minutes and scheduled packaged serving which we had for tea and coffee were never served on its own unless called for. In all we felt as if we were not welcome or the hotel was indifferent with our presence. Junior staff was pretty ok.
Truly wish that Kolahai Green changes it’s approach towards hospitality.

The Hotel is situated a short ride outside the actual Pahalgham Municipality. The location is serene and nice.

Room : The room size was so small that 2 people could not pass each other. Inspite of it being a deluxe hotel category, the room was a total disaster. We could not ask for an extra bed as it was not possible. the bed was too small for 3 people to sleep.

Also the hotel is constructed on an hillock and the dining room is at the entrance so if you have a room on the top of the incline, god help the old and sick people.

There is no other entertainment or things to do for kids or adults once the excursions are done and you are back at the hotel. you are confined to your room and since the hotel is not in Pahalgham you cannot even step out for any food, medicines etc.

the only upside was food which was the best that we had during our Kashmir trip.

Hi! This is the solo traveller and I have visited Pahalgam very recently on 6 Aug 2021 for 2 nights , Pahalgam is amazingly beautiful and I have checked 3 hotels and out of which I chose Kolahoi resort for my stay.

My stay was comfortable, I had trouble booking the room their, firstly due to the poor network and second because of the guy at the front desk who was incompetent.
After much struggle I managed to secure the booking at the resort (Thanks to the ops manager who handled the situation amicably)
IMP: #vodafone has zero connectivity and doesn’t have services at Pahalgam so if you use vodafone please carry an Airtel sim which works fine there.

About the resort: it’s a new property and located outside the city but it has beautiful cottages style rooms amidst the hill.
If you face any issues can speak to the ops manager Mr. Farooq who is way too efficient, experienced and professional.
The food was good, staff is accommodating and supportive and Overall it was a comfortable stay.

For local sightseeing in Pahalgam, it has very strong unionism, you may find price variation so check prices and negotiate hard (when outside the respective union compound)
Kashmir doesn’t have Ola / Uber and for taxi service you will again have to book through the local taxi union which is expensive but we can’t do much about it.
Pahalgam is safe for tourists and the locals rely upon tourism for their living and also it is very safe for women in case you are a solo traveller like me.

The holy Amarnath cave is about 35 kimi from Pahalgam and one can travel as pilgrim as well. Thq

We decided to stay here after an amazing stay at their Gulmarg hotel. This is hotel is about 4kms away from the Pahalgam main market which is actually good and makes it a calm, serene place to stay.
Its a beautiful property with villas, and each one of the size of atleast a 2BHK in a metro city with a jacuzzi. Oh what a joy to be a sitting in a warm bathtub when its -6 degrees outside.
We were travelling with a kid and they kept our requirements in mind and customized their service and food accordingly.
The staff was extremely courteous, and helpful.
Overall, we had a great stay for 2 nights, speacial mention to Aabid, Basharath and Suhail for ensuring we have a great time!

This is one property which will blow your mind just by its location, it is 5 Kms before Pahalgam city centre. It is right next to Lidher River and has this beautiful garden infront of its Cottages. Just sitting there in the evening is a bliss that you will never forget. The only downside is the rooms and bathrooms are very small apart from this it is an excellent place to stay.
Mr. Farouq the personal manager is the most helpful person, he goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. We requested him for some Kashmiri food and he got Kashmiri Haak and Rista made for us. Food is amazing here and the only downside is their Breakfast is not upto mark and lacs verity. If i ever go to Pahalgam i will again stay here because of the Location and Mr. Farouq.
