Sonia Suites has been our home in Kos since 2015. The location is fantastic and the service is better every year. We stayed in a lovey room with a balcony. October was a great time to visit. Ed could walk everywhere without getting tired and had a very pleasant stay with wonderful breakfast at Sonia. Staff are always so friendly and helpful and the owner Sonia is always there to greet you with her warm welcome. I can’t think of any better place than Sonia Suites for a memorable stay in Kos island. A must go for everyone 🙏💙

Stayed here for 2 nights, whilst we were in Kos for a week. It was an impulse decision and a good one. Great location, just 1 block back from the harbour and easy walking distance to many lovely shops, taverna, and restaurants, also some historical sites. We had a deluxe room on the 2nd floor, with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Lovely big room, really comfy bed and great power shower. Great air con. Modern feel to the whole hotel. Breakfast was great and plentiful, you could have it in the lovely courtyard if you wished. Sonia the lady who seemed to be in charge was lovely and friendly. If we ever visit Kos again, this would be our Hotel of choice. Loved it.

Very good hotel in Kos town. Excellent location. Room was cleaned daily. Owner/ Family who have the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good and the lady doing breakfast was friendly. Room had a balcony which looked onto the street. It's was not particularly noisy. I always take ear plugs when I go on holiday so did not hear much noise. Supermarket, pubs etc nearby. Air con and WiFi good. Excellent hotel.

Very welcoming staff, clean rooms, perfect location and well priced. We stayed for 3 nights and they even offered us a bottle of Kos white wine on the house. RESULT ! I would not rave about the breakfast as very average but filled the gap, and average wifi.

I gave this hotel a glowing review after staying here in 2021. Well, I came back in July 2022 and it did not disappoint. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay a great one: in my case, there had been some confusion over the booking and I wasn't sure if I would get to stay or not, but the manager really made an effort to get me a room so I wouldn't have to try and find something else at the last minute. In the end, we had a nice upstairs room with a private balcony and a lovely bathroom. Everything in the room is good quality and well designed. Breakfast is one of my favourite things about Hotel Sonia. It's not a huge buffet, but all the items are fresh and of good quality. There are hot and cold items to choose from. Fresh coffee, juices, tea etc. The location obviously hasn't changed since my last visit, but it's really perfect for Kos Town: not far from the beach, close to the harbour and surrounded by restaurants. The old town is also just 5-10 minutes walk. Whenever I visit Kos, this is the place I want to stay.

Needed a late check-in as arrived on Ferry at 1am. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the much needed power shower. Had time to kill before my bus so was able to leave my overnight bag and have a wander around Kos.

After a miserable few days at Captain’s Hotel nearby, I scrambled to find better accommodation in Kos Town and struck gold with Hotel Sonia. I contacted them directly and managed to secure a better rate, which made the deal even sweeter. The hotel is in a great location, just one block back from the harbour road but not too noisy in the evening. It’s a small place with only 12 rooms, but that means you get a much more personal touch which is noticeable compared to previous places I stayed during this Greece trip. The first two nights I had a free upgrade to a deluxe double room, owing to a slight mistake on their part with the dates I’d given them. The deluxe room is fantastic, with a large comfortable bed, ample storage, a big balcony and a luxurious shower/toilet area. I felt very spoiled as a solo traveller! Even moving to a standard double for the 3 remaining days, the bathroom was quite plush and the bed comfortable even though the room itself was much smaller. The air conditioning in both rooms was very quiet and effective. Breakfast was by far the best buffet of my trip so far (9 hotels and counting), fresh hot and cold items, decent coffee and juice and nice Greek yoghurt, unlike the cheap lumpy stuff you get in some hotels. They also were happy to let me keep the room an extra hour on my last day so I could stay out of the heat until it was time to catch my bus. I enjoyed my stay so much I’m going back there tomorrow (currently extending my stay on Kos…long story) and can’t wait to return.
