Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little hotel, ideally located just a short walk to beach bars or a little further into Kos town. Leon and the team will look after you well. The place kept spotless and breakfast is good. Nice place to relax by the pool as well, there are plenty of sun beds. We had a great stay. Thanks to Leon, Sofia, Olga, Jana, Manos and the rest of the team

Very simple, but all clean. Friendly staff. Good location. We did not have breakfast but it looked nice. Love the many cats at the hotel. Very helpful staff with transport. One chair was broken but was replaced immediately.

Leon the owner, is fantastic and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. The rooms though basic are extremely clean and comfy. The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning staff are always happy and helpful. Great location being located close enough to lampi beach and Kos town, but far enough out for peace and quite. There is a lovely pool with bar serving cheap drinks and food. This hotel is a diamond find and we've booked for next year already.

Currently sat waiting for transport to the airport after spending a beautiful 10 days at this little gem of a place. Don't want to leave. Lovely location which gives the opportunity for a quiet relaxation or a quick walk into Kos town for a more livelier atmosphere. This hotel is beautiful and the family who run it are so helpful and friendly. Clean rooms checked daily have all you need for your holiday. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

we arrived at the hotel at lunchtime. We were promptly shown to our room. We were shocked that when we were told the air con was free of charge . Our room was basic but thats a norm for greece. We were on first floor nice balcony area. Our room was cleaned every day, bedding and towels was changed 5 times on our 2 week stay. the only problem we had was one night we went onto the balcony and closed the glass inner door. The latch dropped and we were locked out. So Partner had to climb over balcony to the steps down to the lower level to go to reception so we could get back in room.. thank goodness it was 24 hour reception. Or we would of been out there till the following morning. The hotel was in a good location 10/15 min walk to beach. 25/30 min walk down to the harbour. Supermarket was AB chain of markets only 3/5 mins walk. doesnt open on a Sunday. We only stayed around pool for one day. Was a lovely area. Small snack bar opens at 12 noon closes at 5. Sunbeds were a little hard got used to the ones down on the beach which had thick mattresses pool area very quiet. Staff were very friendly. We had b&b. The breakfast was continental style. consisted of Ham Cheese Boiled eggs bread (toaster) marmalade jam greek honey greek yogurt tinned peaches fruit cereal coffee tea orange juice . But all in all i will return.

Just spent yet another two weeks in this lovely hotel. I cannot praise the management and staff highly enough. They work so hard and would do anything for you, nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly clean as always with plenty of fresh towels and clean sheets. Lovely pool with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.I really can’t wait to get back again in the near future and would highly recommend this place for a budget holiday.

We were last at the Leonidas back in 2019 but have stayed many times over the years. It was great to get back. Firstly, I’d like to point out that this IS a budget hotel, you do get what you pay for. However, every time we visit, there have been improvements. This year, the pool bar was up and running. Katrina does a great job, providing really nicely cooked snacks and cold drinks at a great price and the wi fi now works around the pool, so another bonus. As always, the hotel is spotlessly clean. The lovely Sofia works very hard all day. We were never short of clean sheets and towels and the stairs and reception areas gleamed. All the staff are very friendly and kind, a big thumbs up to Leo for his patience with me and my inability to unlock my safety deposit box lol. This hotel is a little out of town, which we like. The walk into town and to the beach is flat and no hardship, with plenty to look at along the way. We are older travellers and we find the walk very pleasant. There are lots of good tavernas within a very short distance. We always upgrade to a superior room in the front of the hotel. We did do self catering once, many years ago, so I can’t comment on those now. The breakfast is continental but we always enjoy it. There have been comments made about the busy road which I fail to recognise to be honest. It’s not very busy at all and does not impact on the hotel and pool areas. When walking into town, we just face any on coming traffic, as you would at home. The cars are few and far between so please don’t let this put you off. All in all, this hotel is great value for money and if you’re on a budget, you won’t go far wrong staying here.

If you just want a quick break on a budget this is the place. It's a bit run down and a bit of a walk into main town but it has a pool although it's right on main road and exposed to passing traffic and people! Breakfast is cold selection of processed meat and cheese tinned fruit and instant tea and coffee. Rooms are basic but have little balcony.
