This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever staid in. The rooms are excellent very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast and staff could not do more to make you feel at home. Very reasonably priced we have said here many times and would highly recommend. Thaks to Paul and Helen.

Unlike most pub rooms, these ones are separate from the pub itself - all on ground-level at the back, more like a sort of motel. So there's no bar noise! The rooms are not luxurious but all the basics are there and it is spotless - the luxury comes in the form of the kindness of the owners. I was...

Lovely clean hotel, the hotel came highly recommended I loved how the rooms reminded me a bit of a motel. I liked that we could come and go as we pleased. Also great location we got off the train, walked 2 mins down the road and we were here :) Breakfast was brilliant!!!!!! Will be staying again soon, Thank you...

Stayed here with my wife last weekend for one night. We found it to be the cheapest around and you did not have to book a minimum of 2 nights which is great..The rooms are clean and have tea/coffee facilities. The evening meal was absolutely lovely followed by a few pints which went down a treat. Then there was the...

My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay here. We love the area and trying to find somewhere that we could stay for just one night was proving a tad difficult as most places seem to be a minimum two night stay. Helen and Paul are a lovely couple who run this establishment, which is spotlessly...

The rooms are all cabins at the back of the main pub building. The rooms themselves are tiny and look lovely - well-decorated in black, white and green. Staying there for longer than five minutes lets you find out the shortcomings; hardly any shelf space and a minuscule rickety cupboard with tiny delicate hangers to put clothes on. We put...

Fantastic value B&B accommodation. Rooms are lovely, well presented and clean, with en suite shower room. They are set behind the main building with private car parking, I think they are converted hay stores or something like that from when the place was a coaching inn way back when so as a result they're like mini chalets with their own...

Accomodation consists of small but clean, well-decorated and comfortable 'motel' style rooms in converted stables at the back of the pub which allows you to come and go as you please. Small but well functioning shower with good water pressure. Our double bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast did not leave us hungry: cereal, toast and full...

I really want to be fair in my review of this inn, but it's difficult to know just where to begin. I suppose that the main problem is that I don't know what the old stagecoach is trying to be. Is it a hotel? (no, not really) Is it a pub? (no, not really) Then surely it must be a...

I stayed here for 4 nights in June, using it as a base to explore Dorset and Somerset. Paul and Helen are friendly and run the inn very efficiently. The bar has some good ales and Helen produces some very tasty, reasonably-priced meals from a good menu . The chalet-style rooms are in a peaceful location behind the inn and...
