This mature house was built at the turn of the 20th century and converted to a guest house in 2003. The house retains many attractive period features. We aim to maintain very high standards throughout the house whilst providing you with excellent service during your stay. We are ideally situated just a 70 metres from the seafront and a short 5 minute walk to the town centre, with shops, restaurants and pubs. All of our guest rooms are en-suite and all have been recently refurbished in 2016/17. All rooms have a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities as well as access to the internet using WiFi. St Aubyn's also has a small indoor heated pool (7m x 3m) for our guests. We are also able to provide an off-street parking space for each room. Mark & Simon would love to welcome you to our home. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well, to be honest, I am not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said here. Mark and Simon are wonderful hosts. So welcoming, accommodating and the homemade cake and bread ( at breakfast) delish! Rooms are all that you need them to be, but what would make you return is the people. Thank you, we dont usually do guest houses and you have made a massive impression on us in this respect too. When we next visit the area we will be back.

Can't fault anything about this b&b probably one of the best we have stayed in and certainly the best hosts. Everywhere clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Shower easy to use and beds comfy. From the minute I rang to book room to the minute we left everything excellent. Website easy to navigate. We certainly try to visit again and would recommend to anyone.

Possibly the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Mark and Simon were so friendly and welcoming and went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts and homemade cakes were delicious. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Our hosts had excellent knowledge of local eateries and places of interest. We will definitely be returning to St Aubyn’s, wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. Thank you Mark and Simon for making our stay fabulous x

Mark and Simon are quite simply two of the nicest people you could ever care to meet. Their hosting skills are second to none, from complimentary drinks to homemade bread and cake, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless with top quality bedding, towels toiletries etc. The breakfast is to die for and nothing is too much trouble, they were so attentive and accommodating for our children it was a fantastic stay. The pool is an absolute added bonus and we used it everyday, again with fresh towels available as soon as you stepped out of the pool, simply top drawer again !!! We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here it’s so relaxing.

Highly recommend this lovely guest house, in an excellent location convenient for the town and beach with off-street parking. Mark and Simon are great hosts, cheerful and helpful in every way. The breakfasts were wonderful - beautifully cooked and presented with lots of choice. Home made cake and the small swimming pool are added bonuses! We had two rooms between the three of us - the superior double is a lovely room, good sized with a great shower. Both rooms were immaculate and very comfortable.

Mark and Simon are such lovely hosts! Their house is clean, light and spacious and it has a beautiful swimming pool which was a huge hit with our six year old grandson. Comfy beds, home baked cakes, delicious breakfasts including fresh fruit salad, the full English, vegetarian omelette, lots of cereal choices, toast and preserves - nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for your warm welcome and we really look forward to returning to St Aubyn's again next year.
