Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been staying in Remvi almost every summer for something like seventeen years now. It was great to begin with, cosy and quiet, well-maintained and reasonably priced, but this place has been unique in surprising us every year with new and improved amenities (they redid the bathrooms this year, and the result is simply smashing). Our room is spotlessly cleaned regularly, and fresh linen and towels is brought in perhaps a bit too often. Needless to say, owner and staff are extremely nice, helpful and accommodating.

Having spent there at least 10 summer holiday seasons since 2007, I can confidently state that Remvi is among the very best. Quiet, clean, very well kept, with very helpful, kind and efficient staff. And good value for one's money!

Our go to place to stay when in Stoupa. Very well placed between Stoupa and Kalogria beaches. Rooms are big, extremely clean, and there's something new every year. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and decent stay in Stoupa

Clean, roomy, fully furnished and on a great spot between Stoupa and
Kalogria Beach. I have stayed there several times and have always been happy with the place. I don't know what else to write so I'll just keep this senseless sentence to fill up the words quota.

Stayed for a week in room 203, a ground floor studio in the front building. Booked through Sunvil and a decent saving as a last minute booking for a single person.

Private taxi transfer to the door as I was the only Sunvil guest arriving on my flight. I was somewhat relieved as the brochure stipulated a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point on the main road, as it was over 30 degrees this would have been a bit of an ordeal even without the luggage which was to be transferred separately!

The welcome pack provided was good and included water, milk, 1/2 bottle wine, beer, orange juice, bread, butter, jam, honey, biscuits, nectarine, 2 apricots and sachets of coffee & tea bags - so I didn't have to dash off to the supermarket.

Spacious studio with a proper double and single bed. Excellent comfortable mattress and good pillows. Fluffy towels were changed daily and bed linen 3 times during the week. Bins emptied daily.

Iron and hairdryer. Safe in wardrobe. Lots of hanging space, shelves and drawer space. Good spaces for storing suitcases and footwear.

Shower room with cubical, lots of hot water and great water pressure. Good lighting over washbasin and plenty of room for storing toiletries. Ample hooks in the shower room for towels etc and a small stool - always comes in handy. Lovely to have a proper bath mat!

The kitchenette was well equipped with oven/grill, 2 rings, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Excellent selection of matching crockery and glasses. Ample cutlery, sharp knives, bottle and tin opener etc. A range of pans for those who choose to self cater. A good sized fridge freezer.

Probably the best air con I have had in any accommodation, very efficient, almost silent and placed so that it doesn't blow directly down onto the bed but cools the room effectively. Included in the cost of the room if booked through Sunvil.

Wall mounted flat screened TV which has BBC World News channel. Free wi fi throughout the property was a little slow but did work!

My studio was located in the middle of the building and had a very limited sea view toward Kalogria. Ground floor room 204 had a much better view and I expect that the rooms on the upper floor had the best view of all. The balcony was fairly private with a sloping dividing solid wall and large wind down sunshades. The balcony was in shade in the morning but despite the sunshades it was far too hot to sit in comfort in the evening in July. It would probably be a perfect sun trap in the cooler months!

Reception had a book exchange, some chairs and tables and something which looked like a bar but never seemed to operate as such. Everyone polite, but I didn't have any need for assistance so can't really comment on how helpful they are. There are 4/5 well cared for cats who hang out around the entrance and always give you a warm welcome!

Remvi is in a quiet location and I slept soundly.

The lanes leading from the main road to Remvi are fairly well lit at night so even as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe returning at night.

Space to park a hire car on the lane.

Great location between Kalogria and Stoupa. There is a spring water tap just a few metres from the entrance. Only a 3 minute walk to Enigma and Liastres with the lovely coves beneath them, sunbeds and beach service available.

Excellent accommodation and can also be booked independently for those who prefer to follow so.

Highly recommended!

Sewage system smells periodically, especially during night. It was disgusting.
Cleaning service is terrible. Towels are not clean (bring yours otherwise you need dermatologist) and provided soap is not enough.
Nice view for back studios. Poor breakfast

Just returned from a 9 night break staying at the Remvi Apartments / Studio's and cannot speak highly enough about the place in fact I could be writing all night. Travelled with my partner and two friends we booked a studio and a one bedroom apartment (only because there wasn't 2 studio's) we ended up with a massive 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea. The rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday, clean towels and bedding, every utensil, fridge freezer, microwave, cooking rings, kettle and toaster. TV (BBC world news channel 6)
Crucially for some a hairdryer !! The apartments are located in an elevated position about a 5 minute walk to both beaches in Stoupa and the taverna's (all of which are excellent we found) The staff are friendly although not really fluent in English buy hey its their country so a bit of Greek is appreciated. Perhaps we are easily pleased but in my opinion this is one of the best places I have ever stayed anywhere in Greece. One small downside was the dogs barking during the night however with the door shut and air con on this wasn't a problem but worth a mention. PS safe and air-con FOC Seriously cant wait to go back in the future.

Having previously stayed in Luxury Villa's with their own pools were not expecting much. BUT how wrong we were, Perfect peaceful location, views of the see in all directions, and convenient for Stoupa, only a couple of mins walk away.
So clean, bins emptied every day, new soft fluffy towles, and clean bed linen every other day, air con included (booked thru Sunvil), Free WiFi and freindly Staff more than happy to say Hi.
Highly Recommended. We will be back!

This was the second time we had stayed at the Remvi...the previous time was in 2011. We returned as we love everything about Stoupa...the beaches, the swimming, the restaurants, the strolling around the narrow streets and visiting the 'new' church still being built, just to see what progress has been made. I think it will be some time before it can be used!

Our stay at the Remvi was much improved this year. We had an apartment rather than a studio,so much more room. The bathroom now has a decent shower and the air con. was free with our tour operator, Sunvil, terrific as the temperature was very high. We were also fortunate to have a large, wide balcony which ran the length of the apartment.

Our bedding and towels were changed every other day which was very pleasing.

The location of the Remvi is excellent, 5 minutes to the main beach slightly longer coming back as it's quite steep but no problem if you're reasonably fit. Also it was quiet...little passing traffic.

The Remvi doesn't have a Greek atmosphere... Spartan but comfortable...but you quickly get used to this, and the decent shower makes up for it! The manager is somewhat 'hands off' but will do things if asked.

We visited old Messinni with an organised trip...an amazing ancient Greek city dating from 500B.C.Some visitors said it was better than Olympia. We shall certainly return but hire a car for a few days so we can get to Messini by 8.30 when it is relatively cool. Car hire in Stoupa was not expensive.

We shall certainly consider a third visit.

Op de site van Remvi kun je chatten. Misschien is het handig om het daar even na te vragen.
