Welcome to Hotel Apartments `KLEOPATRA` which is only 150m. From the central beach of Stoupa. Many years ago Mani families yielded the barren lands (Coastal) to the females of the family. Fertile land (olive-trees) which was on the mountains of Mani was given to boys. So to Anastasia Mantzounea (grandmother Tasia) was granted the estate where our hotel was built. Grandmother Tasia gave the estate to her son Evangelos Mantzouneas. After a few years, Evangelos and Cleopatra Mantzounea decided to build hotel apartments `KLEOPATRA`. Although Mani was a male-dominated area, there was always plenty of respect for women, hence the name of the hotel "KLEOPATRA". Today Konstantinos Mantzouneas son of Evangelos and Cleopatra continues the tradition of upgrading the hotel and keeping the family tradition and hospitality of Mani high. We thank all our customers who have chosen us for their holidays. We will continue our effort saving history and traditions. Sincerely Mantzouneas Konstantinos

Before arriving asked Konstantinos to help sort out transfer from airport to his hotel. He did this for me, negotiated a very competitive price and I arrived tired, but safe and sound. My studio was top floor, I was disappointed to see the nice bar breakfast area closed off, which was one of the reasons I chose it so. I could have a night cap. However this was because of Covid and could not be helped. Lots of hand cleansers about and signs explains masks were mandatory in the building. My room was big and spacious with lots of wardrobe space, drawers etc. The cooking facilities simple but adequate and I had a temperamental kettle ,which, when I mentioned it was changed straight away.
The look of the apartment is very old fashioned but quaint Greek. So don’t expect ikea contemporary here. It has a glass sliding balcony door,a insect net door and shutters .Which,on hot nights I just had the Mozi net one closed.
It has loads of extras for FREE ,the air con,the safe ,wi fi and ironing equipment.
Air conditioning is very expensive to run here and I have always been charged for its use soFREE is a big bonus and often wi fi is not in your room but the bar so grateful for that too.
The bed is really comfy and the place was very clean. Although I think the cleaning woman has rather a lot to do. I did ask her if she would clean my room for me as I had a friend coming and she made it look nice , considering how untidy I am.
Getting to bakery is 2 min walk, getting into stoupa beach front is shortish walk directly opposite is a path, left onto car park and own steps, follow little path and you come out by Mangos ,conveniently placed for first nice coffee of the day. I have very painful knees and did find some of the walk strenuous however I did get used to it. If coming in sept Oct bring a torch as not all routes home have Street lighting.
All in all fab stay, nothing bad at all except would have loved a swimming pool! But I did have loads of swims in the sea.

What a lovely place to stay! The rooms were spacious and very clean and the owner was very welcoming and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Many small extras - safe, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, free aircon, proper anti-mosquito screens on the doors and windows - made the property a joy to stay at. I know where I'll be staying on my next visit.....

Location, beds, room etc was really good. But mainly everyone who worked at Kleopatras was so kind. Konstantinos helped us when our flight got cancelled and delayed. They had also done some really good adjustments due to Covid-19, We’ll done and We felt safe all the way.

We are Very happy with our visit, can’t wait to Come back!

We've stayed at Kleopatra for our Stoupa holiday each year since 1999 - attracted by the comfortable air-conditioned rooms and its convenient location, within a short walk of the main beach. There are various apartments for couples or family groups, so as the family has grown up, we've been able to change our arrangements to suit.

Apartments have all the kitchen facilities we want (though we almost always eat out), warm showers in the bathroom, Greek TV, and a balcony with drying rack for towels and beachwear, as well as a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast or a beer in the evening. Kostas and Katerina also offer breakfast based on local Maniatiko produce. Recommended.

The lovely family and extended family and staff at this place are truly wonderful. This was my first visit (first visited Stoupa a long time ago!) and everything was really great; care, comfort, welcome and most of all so considerate and helpful. The location is fantastic, the room was clean and comfortable in a Greek style. Plentiful clean sheets, towels, loo roll, toiletries etc. The hairdryer is really good, and for a welcome change, situated in easy distance of a nearby mirror! I had a lovely balcony with plenty of sun and there is a small garden with seating for relaxing if you fancy shade / more sun etc. The location is literally 5 minutes from the main front (beach, shops, tavernas etc). I had taxi's arranged both ways by my hosts. A lot of thought has gone in to this place including nice extras such as extra lighting at night (important for me) a nice bottle of water in the fridge, extra rugs in the wardrobe, hangers too and an airer on the balcony with pegs provided. The kitchenette was fairly basic but perfectly adequate, especially with so many local amenities on the doorstep. The wifi is fast and free, the staff will give you a code. Any thing else is provided easily by simply asking....! A bell on reception was answered in seconds. All in all, a great stay and a great time and I will certainly return.

This hotel is exactly what it says on the tin... a traditional Greek hotel. I stayed here for bed and breakfast, but you can also stay as self catering. My room had plenty of space. You have a choice of raindrop or hand held shower. WiFi is good.

Lovely family run this hotel, who could not do enough for you.

Thank you Constantinos and Anastasia who looked after me so well.

The hotel is centrally located - just a couple of minutes walk from the main road (and bakery) and a couple of minutes walk from the beach and a huge selection of tavernas.

If you like simple and friendly Greek hospitality - then this is the place for you!

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Kleopatra in Stoupa.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The air con, safe and wi-fi were included in the price which is unusual in Stoupa. It can be €65 per week in other apartments for the aircon alone.
The room was very spacious and the shower was excellent.
We only made an early morning drink in the apartment as we chose to eat out.
The owners were always around and were very nice people.
I would recommend the Kleopatra to anyone visiting Stoupa.

We have been to Stoupa many times but this was the first time we stayed at the Kleopatra and it won't be the last. Our apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, even an iron and ironing board. The towels and bedding were of good quality and our apartment got cleaned regularly. The owners are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The apartments are very handy for everything with only a short walk away from the beach and tavernas. I can highly recommend them.
