Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just had one night in this amazing B&B and don’t think I’ve ever slept so well away from home. The room is lovely, the bed literally hugs you, probably the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and the views & surroundings are just breathtaking. I’m actually so jealous of the owner waking up to this every morning. The breakfast was amazingly tasty, you could tell the ingredients were very good quality. Aileen the hostess goes above & beyond, even giving us a lift into Keith as she was going that way. Honestly can’t recommend this little treasure hidden away from the roadside enough.

Loved our stay here. So peaceful and loved our first welcome by the dogs! Nice big room which was very comfortable. Due to staying for an event the next day we didn't have breakfast but our friendly hostess was more than willing to provide anything we'd be looking for before we left. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here and we will be returning! The hostess was very friendly, you immediately feel at home here. The room is spacious and clean. You do not have a fridge in your room and a coffee/tea maker is available in the common breakfast area. There is a tv, should you feel bored with the lovely views outside. Normally (for eco reasons) the hostess does not enter your room every day, however if you do need clean linen or towels, you can just ask her. The breakfast is really copious, you can get anything from a dry toast to a fully cooked breakfast, that is really good! We do recommend the cooked breakfast. You are staying on a farm, so be warned, in the morning you might be woken by the sound of a sheep baa. For the rest you hardly notice it (no smells and the likes). The road up to the farm is quite narrow and steep, The surroundings are really lovely. You feel like you are staying in the middle of nowhere (except for the occasional train) but you are just minutes away from Keith and from the malt whisky trail.

What a delightful place out of the way a real working farm. Very quiet and peaceful. We could have stayed several days. Comfortable bed big breakfast and 2 dogs and several cats to keep you comfortable if you miss yours from home. If not interested you won’t see or hear them. The owner Aileen is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

This was not what I expected on first arriving seeing it as it is a working farm. I was met by the hostess who was really friendly. I stayed in a large room which was really comfortable and clean unlike some other farmhouses I have stayed in my travels in my work covering the whole of Scotland. The breakfast was really good and the quality was as you would expect from a farm. I only stayed 1 night but was really impressed and the next time I am working in the area this will be the first place I will look to stay at.

This place is a bit of a gem. Lovely large bedrooms, both with east facing windows. Really comfy soft bed and great shower. Help yourselves to tea or coffee (plenty of choice) and relax in the lounge to enjoy views over the rolling agricultural valley. Friendly hostess, wagtails and swallows in the garden and the 'off duty' working dogs are a joy to watch. Best bit was not paying extra as a solo traveller, just half the room rate. Good breakfast too. Spot on all round.

We booked this b&b as we couldnt get a hotel roon - what a blessing that was. Very welcoming hosts (including sheepdogs). Fantastic bedroom - spacious & bright with a comfortable bed and the best shower i have ever experienced away from home. Great views & wonderfully peaceful. Not to mention a great breakfast. Highly recommend.

Amazing B&B on a farm tucked into the hills outside Keith as a perfect retreat from whiskey touring. Incredible setting and incredible people, had our own lounge with log burner, books supplied and beds to melt into.... Pure bliss!! The breakfast will have you ready for any adventure - can't rate this place enough!!!

A lovely older farm house building overlooking farmland and rolling hills beyond. The views are almost a given in this part of the world but this stands out for me. Your hosts are very welcoming, my room was tastefully appointed with everything I needed clean and on hand. Pleasantly "homely" except I don't enjoy such a spacious bedroom or such fabulous scenery form my bedroom window at home. Lovely and warm overnight and sent on my way after a "proper" farm house breakfast. Highly recommended. If you are a nervous driver you may find the "hill start" back out onto the main road a challenge on a damp or frosty morning?
