Have recently returned from a short 3 night stay at The Oceanside Resort on beautiful Bilinga beach.

Check in was easy and we were made to feel most welcomed by Karen the onsite manager. We were shown to our 2 bedroom apartment, this being number 1 and situated on the ground floor. This was ideal for me as all I intended to do for the next few days was to fish and meant I didn’t have to take gear up and down in a lift.

The apartment has recently been renovated and was both spacious and well appointed, 2 beautiful bathrooms, a decent size lounge and a kitchen with all the essentials.

The view from the apartment was magnificent and if it had been any closer to the sea we would have had to sleep in boardies and I could have fished of the balcony!!!

The location of the resort is fantastic for travellers arriving by airplane as the airport is only a short drive away, the noise of planes had no impact on our stay and being a plane enthusiast added to the enjoyment.

Good shopping and dining opportunities are plentiful around the area but a car is desirable or taxis would need to used. The GC theme parks are a short drive or organised day trip away.

I would highly recommend Oceanside Resort for either a couples or family break and both my wife and I are looking forward to returning sometime soon.

We had an amazing few days stay here, the views are absolutely incredible and the apartment is exactly what you need for a beach side stay. The location is walking distance to everything as it's right on the walking/biking path, we stayed and did not need a car for anything. You can also walk right onto the beach from the back door.
Would highly recommend hiring bikes!
Our check in was easy and we were even allowed to have a late check out to fit with our late afternoon flight out, everything once arriving was a breeze

We have just discovered Oceanside Resort, less than 10 minutes from Gold Coast airport and sitting on one of those famous Gold Coast beaches at Bilinga. The resort has 2 and 4 bedroom apartments with direct access to the beach.
Going to bed at night with sound of the surf in the background is just one of the best experiences and awakening to some spectacular sunrises, very hard to beat, we will be returning.

Perfect location! Amazing caretakers, Glen and Karen were always so accomodating, helpful and friendly. We stayed 12 nights and enjoyed every moment- the ocean views are the best we have had from an apartment. First time we have stayed and have booked again. We highly recommend to stay here

Partner and I stayed here in Feb and loved our stay, shortest walk possible to the beach and plenty of restaurants and surf clubs walking distance away.
The apartment was modern and clean, whilst also being being peaceful, quite and private considering you are so close to the beach!
Perfect weekend getaway!

Really enjoyed my stay at Oceanside. As we have young children we wanted to get away from Surfers as it is too busy and the surf their is just too rough. There is so much beach that goes on forever each way which is wonderful for the children and great for those afternoon/morning walks. Rooms are lovely and you can sit in your lounge or on the balcony and look at the wonderful beach view. Restaurants are about 5 mins down the road and the Chinese is the best I have ever tasted. Will certainly be counting down until I can get back there again.

My family and I Have been holidaying here for 5 years or so. We like the laid back location away from the hype of Surfers but close enough to Coolangatta. For shopping convenience. It has many benefits, the location is fantastic, right on the beach. The complex is very clean and well maintained. The onside managers are very welcoming and always good for advice one the best restaurants etc. well worth staying

Solo traveller looking to unwind and de-stress; mission accomplished!

I spent 9 nights here. I had high expectations on arriving and they were exceeded! The photographs are accurate. The property is on the beach, with its own heated salt water pool and spa. Kilometres of beach front in both directions and very few people. No crowds. Due to the size of the resort I hardly had any contact with other residents, which suited me fine! The units are well appointed and very clean. If you like waking up to the sound of the ocean this place is for you!

The managers, Karen & Glen, are very accomodating and very approachable. After 7 nights I wanted to extend my stay, which wasn't a problem, and was offered 2 nights in unit 17, a penthouse. WOW! AMAZING! Incredibly high ceilings, large glass windows, spectacular view! Would definetly suit a family.

Located away from the crowds of tourists that flock to the Gold Coast. Close to shops and other beautiful beaches.

This has become my favourite holiday destination, will definetly be back!

Apartments are truly on the beach - very unique. Good rooms with comfortable furnishings, full kitchen and full laundry. Staff were helpful in organising local day trips and recommended some fabulous local places to eat. Best aspect is the ability to simply take a few steps to the beach and then come back to the resort's beachfront pool and spa. Few locations would beat this.

We stayed at Oceanside Resort and have been back quite a few times. The beach is magnificent for walking and is situated between Currumbin and Kirra Beaches. The unit was spotlessly clean and the balcony a favourite spot to chill out and watch the waves rolling in. Our favourite thing to do was to lie in and listen to the soft sound of the rolling gentle waves as they hit the shoreline.
At Kirra a short walk south along Bilinga Beach, you find a quaint row of shops and one of our favourites is the gift shop and the coffee sitting outside near the beach.
Oceanside is easy to get to by flying to Coolangatta and within a short drive to Surfers Paradise in the north and a short drive south to Tweed Heads.
I would go back again and again, knowing that each holiday we've already had has been fantastic.

Hi, What dates are you looking at so we can be more specific.
Answer from GlennRees

Hi 1. We do have airport noise but due to the flight paths taken it is quite minimal we have asked previous guests who advised us the Ocean noise is stronger 2. Our lowest 3 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor. 3. We have a convenience store directly out front for milk and bread and fresh coffee. There is also a takeaway burger shop 10 minutes walk. 4. There is a bike path south that has swings around 30 minutes walk in North Kirra or north in Tugun has swings as well. 5.No there is No shuttle bus to us. You can use the public bus service which stops next door to us.
