I came here during July and I can’t recommend pefkos blue enough, it was so amazing! The staff were so friendly, with amazing food and at good prices. It was also so peaceful during the day and the night. The hotel is a two minute walk from a bus stop, and close to Lindos where there is a bus station with transport around the island, but the bus did get really busy so just be prepared! Pefkos is only a ten minute walk away, with a walk up a huge hill on the way back but it is so worth it as the view at the hotel is amazing! As my first holiday this hotel will always be special and I highly recommend!

My husband and I were not actually staying at the hotel but went here for our last day staying at a hotel along the road. I had a cooked breakfast and this was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were allowed to use the pool and sun loungers for free. This hotel makes use of the gorgeous views down to the beach. A lovely tasty menu and a lovely relaxing last day of our hols. We have decided to go here next year but unfortunately can’t seem to book it as all sites say it is not available no matter what dates we put in - hopefully this will change so that we can get booked up.

Came to Pefkos blue in early September and had a great time . Rooms adequate and cleaned every day . Staff helpful and the views from the bar and stunning . Only a two minute walk to the bottom of the steps which leads to cross which was a bonus . Wonderful time and would return in a instant 👍

The hotel is nice given what we paid and the rooms are very basic and dated but functional however it could be much better with very little extra effort. Aircon is £10 a night but as we had a late flight it wasn’t on so the first night was spent sweating as it was nearly 30 degrees so would be nice to have a complementary night and pay for the rest! They can’t just turn on as no staff are at the hotel after about midnight. Stayed a week and had same bedsheets, two changes of towels and the cleaners do the minimum with no real care for the place. We still had dead insects on the floor that had been there all week, not always left with a spare toilet roll and generally a little grubby. Hot water is limited as 40% were cold so they clearly need more hot tanks on the roof to cope with demand. The pool area is lovely with a good selection of loungers and the surrounding gardens are well cared for but again the pool needs a good clean as months of algae have built up around the overflow to the pool which need a simple pressure wash. Whilst we were at the pool we had a few days of drilling and general building noise which when challenged said it was an issue with the water that needed sorting but it did go on a few days and they are clearly doing building work at the back of the bar area which I think should have been declared to travel agents so holiday makers could choose somewhere else if they felt it could effect their relaxation (it did mine) also had no smoke alarm in room which I only noticed as the base of an old one was still on ceiling which isn’t great given the terrible fires they have recently had on the island. We ate at the restaurant on a few occasions mostly for lunch and I must say, the food was very good and well presented. If the small things had of been addressed I would give 5/5 so I think 3/5 is fair. Also just to mention the hill down to Pefkos isn’t too bad with a nice bakery half way down which we used regularly for breakfast/coffees and the essential beer/wine to stock the fridge! Lots of restaurants too in Pefkos itself so plenty to choose from all within a short walking distance. Bus to Lindos is at the top of the road by hotel and runs a regular service for €1.80 each way. Sort out the small things and it’s a gem of a hotel, but for now it’s just a little frustrating! Oh and to top it off we went to have a last meal at hotel before coach pick up and they don’t serve food 4-7pm (no information on this!) such a shame so gone further down in my estimations 🙄

This hotel is the secret you don't really want to share with others. Whilst the apartments are modest, they are always clean, well equipped and peaceful with incredible views over pefkos. We have visited several times, and stayed once last summer - August 2022. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and managers at the hotel. The food is always fantastic quality, great value and delicious. The pool area has had an upgrade with comfortable loungers and Bali beds for extra luxury. Our children love this holiday and evening spent in pefkos or days down on the beach.

Last minute booking & to say we struck gold is an understatement. I cannot recommend enough. The views are unbelievable we never got tired of looking out over the bay -excellent service and the food is amazing!! We are a family of 3 with a 6 Yr old and have had the most relaxing 6 days. Never had to fight for sunbeds - even the cabanas were always available no matter the time, it did get a little busier on the weekend with locals but that was nothing major - no 7am towel drop needed! Pefkos is a 10 min walk down "cardiac hill" so if you want bars/restaurants this is the place to go as nothing around the hotel itself. Taxi is €5 worth it on the way back as no lighting or pavement. The standard rooms are very basic but clean and roomy which is all we wanted - no TV to my sons disgust but that added to the relaxing time in my opinion! I would however upgrade to one of the newer refurbished rooms if we were to return. All in all a great place and a great introduction to Rhodes

We have just returned from a great week in Pefkos at the Pefkos blue hotel. The hotel was exactly as shown online, with a modern feel to the bar and reception areas. This area is perfect for a pre dinner drink if you are heading down into Pefkos or a cheeky mojito in the afternoon. The pool area was very nicely done out, with plenty of new loungers available and day beds for a bit of shade from the mid-day sun. We always found there to be enough space for us no matter what time of day we went to the pool. So absolutely no troubles with going to the beach in the morning and having a pool afternoon. Our room was exactly as expected simple but clean and plenty of space. We were on the second floor so had a lovely view of the town and bay below, perfect for breakfast/ lunch if you are self catered. One point for improvement, we arrived at the hotel late and being Greece in the summer it was still 25-30 degrees with no air conditioning. We noticed this is an extra but would have been a nice touch to provide air conditioning complimentary for the first night. Alternatively I think the air conditioning should just be provided as part of the price. Other recommendations: - Lindos is a must visit but go early to avoid crowds and the mid day sun -kavos beach is a nice quaint spot with an idyllic restaurant looking out across the bay

Beautiful pool, setting, and views. Can't think of a better way to spend the day than lying by that pool with a cold drink, soaking up that stunning view. Food is also very good. For some reason, it is generally really quiet so you largely have it all to yourself! It's a bit of a walk up the hill but absolutely worth it.

My partner and I have recently returned from an amazing stay at the Pefkos Blue. The hotel is around a 5-10 minute walk to the local restaurants and bars in Pefkos. Yes, the walk is down a pretty steep hill however with the stunning views you get at the hotel, it is completely worth it. Of an evening we would usually walk down and get a taxi back up to the hotel which is priced at 5 euro. Lindos is also around a 10 min drive away and 10 euro in a taxi. The rooms are pretty basic but have everything you need, especially a really good working fridge freezer and all rooms have sea views. The hotel has a beautiful bar/restaurant area where you can get the most amazing food throughout the day and evening. It was by far the best food we had all holiday. Odi and his sister who work in the bar area, along with their mum who is the chef, are a complete asset to themselves and to the hotel. The service was faultless and we had loads of amazing cocktails, coffees etc - again probably the best we had all holiday. I don’t think I would have enjoyed our stay at the hotel as much if it weren’t for this lovely area, service, food and drinks we received. The pool area is great with sun beds and day beds. We were always able to get either if we wanted and it was just a lovely place to relax and unwind. For arrivals turning up to the hotel past approx 11:00-12:00pm, the reception area is closed and you will be given your room number by the rep and it is also on a board as you arrive at the hotel explaining your key is left in the door. My only bit of advice would be to ensure you have water to get you through to the next morning as there isn’t anywhere around that you can get any very easily. Also if you want aircon, it may be worth messaging the hotel before you arrive to ask them to leave the remote in your room as it is charged at 10 euro a night. Luckily we had the remote in our room when we arrived but I don’t think that was the case for everyone, but I may be wrong. All in all we had an amazing stay at the Pefkos Blue and would 100% recommend.
