This was our fourth stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and made of of blocks, blocks 'G', 'H' & 'I' over look one of the pools. Room numbers beginning with '1' are on the ground level, people sitting round the pool can see into your room if you have the curtains open. If you want a bit more privacy request a room number beginning with '2' or '3' so you are above ground level. The rooms are fairly basic with kitchenette, this is standard for the grade of hotel. They are clean, with housekeeping coming in each day to change the towels / bed linen. The showers are a little on the small size and could do with modernizing as well as being bigger. Hot water was lacking in the morning, but plentiful in the afternoon / evening, so advice is to shower in the evenings. The staff as always, are very friendly and ready to help you when needed. Large choice of breakfast is offered, buffet style. Plenty of seating, but does get busy. We found the best time to go for breakfast was around 08:00. Breakfast is served between 07:30 - 10:00. If you are doing an early start for a trip where you would not have time for breakfast, you can let reception know the day before your trip and they will arrange a packed breakfast for you that you can pick up on you way out in the morning. Will contain Sandwiches, Cake, Fruit (Apple & Banana) and a bottle of water each. The location of the hotel is ideal being only a five minute walk from the main street in Pefki where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from to eat. Recommendations for places to eat: Sunset (onsite) Greek Story Harmony Artemis. We have always enjoyed our stays here and will definitely return for another stay again. The hotel group does have a fair number of returning guests, with some returning several times every year.

Greeted warmly at reception when we arrived, they assist with luggage if you need and have buggies to transport you if it too far to walk to your room. The room was huge, big comfy bed and the kitchenette was stocked with all the things we needed to prepare simple meals. Air con included :) attractive blue railings around the balconies and the gardens are kept beautifully. Pools were all fab, lots of choice being able to access all three hotels in the complex, which meant a choice of bars too. Food from the bars was tasty, burger, cheese and bacon chips and the pizza were highlights! Hotel staff were all fabulous, but particular mention MUST go to Nikos, Michaela and Dmitri who were exceptional! 🙏🍻🍹 also the two we didn't get names of but dubbed the 'dancing man' and my 'greek grandad', gardening/maintenance(?) who were absolutely delightful ❤️ pools were lovely and clean. Would recommend highly! Thank you 🙏💙🤍

Chilled atmosphere that is truely unbeatable . We booked two days before arrival and it was the best holiday ever! A long review because there is just so much to say about this little bit of heaven on earth . The hotel is spotlessly clean , staff are absolutely amazing making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive . The rooms are of a good standard with , toaster, sandwich maker , cooker rings kettle, iron and ironing board. Yes the shower is small but it’s powerful clean and does the job. The bests are comfy and huge , aircon is very welcomed and powerful . Towels and bedding is changed daily and the maids are gems ,so friendly and really appreciative of the tip we left when leaving . Upon our arrival we had a complementary anniversary cake , wine and a congratulations note. Really lovely touch ❤️ There is a well stocked supermarket on resort that has absolutely anything you could need and more , where again the staff are so friendly. We were bed and breakfast and it was honestly the best breakfast we’ve ever had. So much choice from pastries, fresh /dried fruit bacon ,egg ,pancakes ,cheeses ,breads cakes , yogurt fruit ,honey , carton drinks choice of juices apple, orange, carrot ,fresh milk ,almond milk, bottled water and ice. The restaurant start are just amazing working hard to make sure food is stocked and things run smoothly. We also ate at the pool bar on numerous occasions, the taziki and breads are a fab snack , we also had the club sandwich ,gyro plate and wrap . We ate at the Meze restaurant where you made to feel really special with table services a selection of lovely wines and a choice of yummy traditional Greek dishes. Again amazing staff. The pool area are clean not once did we have to search for a sunbed for four of us and we usually went down around 11. We loved this , me and my husband spent lots of time at the adult pool which was pretty much empty and so chilled no music just the sound of the crickets in lovely surrounding gardens ,our teenage children used mainly the island blue pool which was also not overcrowded. Evening entertainment was fantastic we really enjoyed it. Whilst we were there we enjoyed , a rock, funky town, driffters and karaoke evening . Entertainment finished at about 11.30, you could then sit in the comfy seating area and enjoy chilling. The evening bar is fantastic with a good choice of drinks all freshly made and of a good standard the staff are so kind, fun and nothing is to much trouble. The area is just honestly breathtaking so beautiful , local wildlife, growing fruits and flowers. The beautiful beach is a 5 mins walk away down so steps. Soft sand with crystal clear waters . Sun-beds are 20 euros for two which is about standard however if you are using these daily for a family of 4 works out expensive . I think perhaps a package deal for hotel users could be an idea ? We paid most because it was so worth it. There isn’t really anywhere you can just pitch up a towel as the water comes in quite close to the shore and there are alot of beds, however it’s not overcrowded. There is a choice of fantastic restaurants the area. We ate at the philosopa just stunning with the best saganki cheese annd most scenic views of the sunsetting over the blue ocean. Also highly recommend the Tsambikos beautiful foods, welcoming attentive staff and super tasty food. We also used the lee beach bar great ice coffees and snacks . We did eat at George’s also which we found average but enjoyable. Not forgetting the sunset restaurant right next to the hotel which does some amazing crepes , we also ate a meal there which was good and it’s a really lovely chilled family run feel . One thing I will highlight is the use of showers on departure , make sure you book a slot in advance . We didn’t know we had to and then all spaces were taken . This wasn’t a problem as the lovely guy on reception arranged for us to use the spa so we could freshen up before leaving . Just worth knowing. We only went for a week this was not long enough there were so many things we wanted to do and really didn’t want you leave this outstanding thing establishment . Honestly I can’t praise it enough we are booking next year for two weeks and we never go back the same place . This time we will be taking family to share this beautiful experience . It’s clear to see why people this place has so many returning customers. Book book book you won’t regret it I promise.

***long post*** Due to winter holidays being booked and the recent terrible UK weather, this was a last minute getaway with TUI for some quick sun so we expected cheap and cheerful. We were very impressed and pleasantly surprised by this resort. It has a traditional beautiful atmosphere, and not commercialised like some of the larger hotels. The resort is split into 3 sections - Island Blue / Pefki Islands / Lindia Thalassa - with a total of 5 pools between all these areas (ref to photo of map). All pools can be used but one is adult only which is at the Elia restaurant where breakfast is normally served. Also, which i thought was great, we were advised by another family who regularly holiday at this resort, that pool hoping at different local hotels was absolutely acceptable as long as drinks/food were purchased. We didn’t have time to do this but it’s definitely something we have noted for future visits! We stayed in Pefki Islands, ground floor apartment that steps directly out to the pool. The room was immaculate and cleaned this way every day of our stay. Generous in size. As per other reviews our shower space was extremely small but again we wanted cheap and cheerful so this isn’t a complaint, it’s more of an FYI when booking as they’re not all this way. We found the apartment to be well equipped to our needs, everyone is different but we only required the kitchenette for quick snack making for the children, keeping drinks chilled/frozen. Some other reviews highlight the additional charge for the use of air con, but we did not have to pay for air con only the safe which was 30 euros for the week. It’s probably worth a quick email to the resort directly to enquire before booking. We found the air con to be powerful and cooling, no issues. The room also had an iron/ironing board with ample wardrobe space. TUI need to update their website photos, the TV in rooms are all flatscreen however the beds and room size are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. We stayed under a bed and breakfast package and found the breakfast true to reviews, it was awesome. Probably one of the best holiday breakfast options we have received. So much on offer, from a huge selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, continental, pastries and your cooked breakfast. Something for everyone. Breakfast was located at the Elia restaurant which was a 2min walk through the resort or along the outside of the resort from our room. As stated our room was pool facing, which did tend to get loud from the entertainment arranged by the resort, BUT, it’s a holiday resort with other people enjoying themselves. It wasn’t rowdy it was just loud that did tend to finish by 23:30. And in all honesty, our days were busy with beach visits and exploring that we would normally get in by 23:00 and zone out noise as we were so tired. The whole resort itself is fantastic, it’s like a little homely traditional village without the crowds. The crowds tend to congregate on the main high street where all the British style establishments can be found. However if it’s authentic Greek establishments you’re looking for then we would highly recommend Philosophia the local beach restaurant (a little pricey but worth every single penny, the view is beautiful!!), sunset restaurant located just a couple of steps outside the resort where you can also get their delicious takeaway crepes, Taverna Anixis which is located on the top road but opposite end to all the British establishments. You can take a chance and turn up to any of these restaurants without a reservation but recommend booking to avoid disappointment. We found resort staff and Greek hospitality in general amazing, so welcoming. There is a fantastic well stocked onsite small supermarket open all day with further supermarkets on the main road. We decided to hire a small runaround type car over 4 days (280 euros) through Rodos Car Hire, couldn’t fault the service, the car was booked the night of enquiring and delivered next day to the hotel and collected from the hotel at the end of our contract. Rodos Car hire made hiring a vehicle so comfortable and stress free. Would highly recommend contacting them directly. Our TUI rep provided a contact but it was 50 euros more expensive. That 50 euros saved was put towards fuelling the car twice. We also decided to hire a boat for a day through Rodos Boat Hire, Antonis and his partner Eleni were amazing, the in-depth health and safety briefing made us feel secure. It was 300 euros for 7 hours, there are options for half a day and an hour use. We took a cooler bag with sandwiches and drinks, using our hotel room fridge/freezer to freeze water bottles acting as ice blocks to keep the food cool. With Rodos Boats there is a route to follow due to their licence, this route was better than other boat hire company’s. We got to visit the Red Sand Beach which we had to ourselves for the first hour, it was PARADISE. Ref to photos. We also discovered another small cove beach that we also had to ourselves. It was dreamy. Take your phones and charger as there is a USB port and by scanning the QR code you’re provided with a map with green and red hotspots. We fell in love with the local beach by our resort, Lee’s Beach, the water was crystal clear, beach sandy beach with comfortable cushioned sunbeds. It’s all sign posted, the steps to the beach has a wow factor, it was my favourite walk to the beach. There was a section of sunbeds that had cooler boxes to keep your drinks/food cool, USB charging ports. But these did tend to be reserved pretty quickly. The rest of the sunbeds were first come first served with a man and son patrolling for payment, they take a while arriving as they own the full strip of beach beds so just park up, relax and pay the 25 euros (2 beds and an umbrella) when they arrive. No card payment, it’s cash only. My husband and children had fun on the jet ski - 55 euros a time for 15mins and its first come first serve. We recommend visiting Lee’s Beach bar for lunch, it’s gets super busy so depending on your patience and if you’re travelling with kids, try to get there by midday ish. We strolled up just after 13:30 and only had a 10 min wait for a table. The food is amazing, and portions HUGE and cheap (2 chicken gyros, pasta, pizza, chips, 2 pints of mythos, cokes) came to 52 euros. Where as lunch at Philosophia would come to 100 - 120 euro a time. Philosophia was my favourite and if you can I would recommend to visit at least once especially in time for sunset. The new Meze restaurant on the resort site was lovely, a little commercialised, but nonetheless, it was lovely. But we did prefer eating at the main pool bar, again, portions huge and food was good. Another beach which is a must visit is the Parasonisi, it’s an extremely windy beach but breath taking crystal clear waters. This beach is the point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Aegean Sea - simply beautiful. It’s very popular with windsurfers, paddle boarding and kite surfing. Parking is free, but 2 beds and an umbrella are 25 euros. The beach restaurants for the beds seem a bit of a trek but we found no problem leaving are towels and going for lunch at the Lighthouse Taverna - food was amazing!! Huge portions in a beautiful environment. We drove two nights into old Rhodes town, which was wonderful. We got lucky and found parking along side other cars on the outskirts of the old wall but our car hire person did say that we could park and ride into the old town for free from one of the harbours - so that’s an option when hiring a car. With regards to the recent fires, the area affected was “only” between Lardos and Gennadi. It was devastating to see the damage but the media mentioned Lardos, Lindos and Pefki, we didn’t see this damage anywhere else. We did pass what seemed to be council workers working hard to replant trees. Lastly, we want to say a huge thank you to the resort for their hospitality. Our flights returning home were quite late (00:40) and checkout was at 11:00am. We did request a late checkout but this wasn’t available, instead we were provided with a vacant apartment for an hour to shower and ready ourselves for collection by TUI at 20:00. We were able to store our belongings safely and spend the last 7 hours enjoying the pool, sun, Greek cuisine and last dip in the sea. This was very much appreciated - would be return - yes 100% !!

We arrived late as are flight was delayed, despite it being past midnight a member of staff was still available to take us to our room. On arrival the room was very clean and there were a selection of Greek snacks & water! Our room was a huge, had a good cooking area and appliances. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. You can hear the people in the floor above so I would request to be on the top floor ( we were on the second). The only thing I felt could be improved in the room was that the single beds were very hard, especially in comparison to the big bed but nothing too horrendous. I'd like to give a special mention to our cleaner (pefki islands room F221) who was excellent and extremely friendly! In terms of facilities on site there are plenty of pools, no shortage of sun beds, several bars, a restaurant and a supermarket. The supermarket was reasonable prices relative to Greek stores (Greece is not a cheap country) and had everything you needed. The village itself, is a 5 minute walk so you can easily get anything else you need there. For things to do. The beach is at the bottom of the hotel and the sun beds are €15 for 2. It's a nice beach, the sea is fairly warm and it isn't too busy. Rhodes is a beautiful island and there are multiple tour companies who you can book trips with. There's also a regular public bus service that is very easy to use. Alternative you can hire a car, we did this in the last but not this trip. We visited the valley of the butterflies, Chalki island, Rhodes town by night and Lindos. The hotel also has entertainment multiple nights a week - the 4 guys from South Africa are amazing so check them out! In pefkos there are plenty of Greek & non greek restaurants all with a lot of choice, I'm vegetarian and I had lots of really lovely Greek food! On the subject of food, I have to say the breakfast was outstanding perhaps the best buffet hotel breakfast I have had. The usual continental breakfast items were served (fried eggs, croissants etc) but they also had some yummy Greek items! I especially loved the Greek yogurt (get full fat you're on holiday ;) ) and the banana with honey and walnut! It is busy 9-9:30 but nothing too bad, avoid these times if you prefer a quieter environment. The only thing we were impressed with this hotel is that they didn't offer late check out and instead you had to pay €240 for an extra night, most flights to the UK (the majority of customers) are late at night so you are stranded from 11am to 6pm when you leave for the airport. This service used to be available and I certainly think it should come back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel!

This complex is just outstanding on all levels We have stayed at Lindia thalassa before but this was the first time to stay at the Pefki islands From the moment we arrived there we were blown away by the friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed the pool bar for a last evening drink and the bar man was super friendly. We were in block C which was overlooking the island blue hotel and we saw some great sunsets from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and unusually there were lots of hangers in the wardrobe. The room was a studio which was very well equipped and the lovely maids kept it immaculate. Breakfast at the island blue hotel was fantastic with a wonderful array of tasty foods. We had booked directly with the hotel which was great as our transfer to and from the airport was included. The driver was ready for us and everything went smoothly. We also got the safe included because we had booked directly and little treats like honey and nougat and bathrobes and slippers. Pool area (5 to choose from) were lovely and clean, always plenty of sun loungers available. Would recommend 100 % One small negative…bathroom is tiny and dated but I have heard that they are going to be renovating them.. Cannot wait to go again ! Definitely recommended The sunset taverna which is literally next door is lovely and easy when you just want a good lunch without having to walk out. Talking of food the club sandwiches at the pefki islands pool bar are tasty and extremely large, plenty for 2 to share. Cocktails are fabulous too, especially the pineapple injection
