Detailed Reviews
This is a family business, very well cared and with fantastic view of Pefkos bay. The maisonette we had was spotless, well furnished, fully air-conditioned, had three TV sets one in each room, cetler, fridge etc. The staff is very friendly, helpful and cheerful. Kitchen and bar prices very reasonable, food and beverages at very good quality.
Definitely going back for more.

Absolutely love this hotel and staff. This was our 2nd time staying and we have booked again for next year.
Popi, her family and staff all work amazingly hard to make your stay perfect. You are welcomed like you are part of the family, nothing is ever too much trouble.
We stayed in the Nefeli Maisonette, it is beautiful, I can't wait to be back again next year. The apartment is cleaned daily by the lovely Katerina, who works very hard.
We had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast every morning and drinks and snacks are available all day, all freshly prepared.
I would highly recommend Pefkos View to anyone who is looking for accommodation where the people are friendly, the cleanliness is spotless and the views are amazing. I would give it 10 out of 10 👌

We were not actually staying in Pefkos View (but in alternative accommodation that shared the pool and bar area) , but are going to book for next year because Pefkos View was wonderful. We spent many days around the pool area and ate often twice per day in the restaurant. It was lovely, the most tasty food - the best homemade moussaka I have ever had, my partner enjoyed the cooked breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble to make or adapt. Reasonable prices, personal and welcoming service. Poppy and Iionnas could not do enough for us.
The atmosphere was relaxing and a gentle waterfall as part of the pool added to the ambience.
We love Pefkos , but this place is highly recommend, and Poppy we will see you next year.
Efharisto!

We stayed at Stella View which shares the pool with Pefkos View next to it.
The owner at Stella View was lovely but unfortunately his sister in law who owns and runs Pefkos View wasn’t so nice, she made us feel uncomfortable and not at all welcome.
I have been coming to Pefkos for over 25 years and have never experienced such a rude person.
Every time we were around the pool area she was up looking to see what we were doing.
Nearly every day she had a go at us as follows:
Obviously we knew things were going to be different due to covid, but my husband and son were looking around to see if there were 3 sun beds close to each other, I came to the pool area and was given a lecture about not moving beds, I will add other guests moved beds and it was acceptable!
Walking to the pool area again she had a go at us for not eating or drinking from our apartment which we weren’t, we know this is not allowed as we go to Pefkos every year. I will add we saw other guests drinking from flasks and glasses from their rooms.
We were going to get our lunch from the supermarket across the road, we were going to leave our towels and pick them up on our way back to our room (other guests left towels which seemed to be fine) but unfortunately not for us, we were made to remove them.
I was going to the pool at 8 for a swim, she accused me of damaging her steps??? I am not sure what she meant but either she didn’t want me moving the chain across the top of the steps which I didn’t do or she didn’t want me ducking underneath the chain.
We were trying to put up a sun umbrella which had a tie on it, no we were not allowed to do this due to covid, well what about the people the day before that had used it? To make her point even clearer she proceeded to move the sun beds which were there.
One day the 3 of us where split up as there were no beds together, people moved so we decided to move to be together, funnily there were 3 beds together even though you weren’t meant to move them. Over she comes to us, disinfecting beds on the way (I will add this was only the second time I saw her do this). She said that there were different rules for her guests and those spat Stella View. She was right there as her guests could basically do what they wanted.
From reading other reviews this has happened on a few occasions and unless you are staying at Pefkos View or spend loads in her bar then she is not pleasant. We had had our lunch there on our arrival day but after she started having a go at us, we didn’t spend another cent there and even if we wanted a drink of water we went back to our room.
The final straw was on our final night, we were on our way out for a meal and she was talking to another guest, they were both looking at us and the guest said, well at least they will be gone soon.
Shocking behaviour.

I booked 2 rooms and was impacted by the fires in Rhodes on the 22nd and 23rd of July.
We arrived at the hotel and requested we cancel the 2 rooms I had booked.
The owner said it was too late and that she could not assist us, so she said you have to check in or loose your money. we expressed our concern as the fires were in a neighbouring village.
The owner was dismissive.
So we decided to check in because the roads back to Rhodrs centre were closed off due to the extensive fires.
After the owner had shown us to our rooms and checked us in, she then mentioned that there is no electricity or water due to the fires. so I asked what do we do and she responded you just have to wait, so I replied its over 40 degrees outside and the room has no air-con.
I couldn't cancel the room to get a refund to go to another hotel in an area where it was further or not impacted by the fires or go back to Rhodes Centre, we then changed into our swimmers and sat by the pool and could smell the fire and could see ashes in the air. We were devostated, so we stayed close to the hotel. at midnight we got an update from the greek government to vacate the hotel and packed our bags and drove back to Rhodes center.
I requested a refund for the full amount as the behaviour of the owner was insincere at the time of check in and hid information prior to the check in and could not fulfil the the obligations or services advertised during the very short stay,
They didn't give us a bottle of cold water, we didn't have electricity in the room, so we didn't have air conditioning and the hotel didn't even have an electricity generator.
I sent a message to the owner of the hotel and to booking.com requesting a refund but it was declined by the owner of the establishment.
I am extremely saddened by the behaviour of the hotel management and would not recommend anyone to stay there.
I have travelled to over 40 counties and have never experienced such poor customer service.
This experience will remain unforgettable.

Structure with various types of accommodation. We stayed in one of the simplest, a bit old and uncomfortable stairs. Cleanliness is not great .. there are always ants and linen is not much. Towels were changed only 1 time in 6 days and only on the first day was a shampoo and shower gel left per person. Breakfast is decent .., but it is precooked and little varied .. hard-boiled egg from the fridge, omelettes, scrambled eggs, yogurt. Everything that is not included costs a lot. For example 2 coffees and a magnum: 10 euros.
Otherwise, nice pool. The location is convenient for getting around. The owner is nice. All in all good value for money.

Just spent a beautiful relaxing week here at the Pefkos view Apartments and suites.
The apartments are stunning, spotlessly clean. The views are breathtaking.
Poppi treats you like old friends when you arrive and looks after you throughout your stay. Breakfasts are to die for with lots of choice. Location is great for the town and beach. There is a steep hill but if you don’t feel like walking up, there is a taxi rank at the bottom and they are more than happy to take you to the top for 5 euros.
We will definitely be booking to come back here for 2023.

The Pefkos View Suite and Maiisonette is situated at the top of a hill. We had a twin studio which was lovely and had a beautiful sea view. The manager Poppy was a delight! She was very friendly, always smiling and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. We opted to have breakfast every morning which was delicious. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were always smiling and cheerful. We will definitely be back again.

Well today is our last day of a lovely 2 weeks here at Pefkos View, and what lovely place it is.
It is set overlooking Pefkos, on the top of a steep hill(challenging if you have mobility problems), but if you are reasonably fit it is manageable, or you can jump in a taxi if you
prefer. Half way up is a bakery and supermarket so you can stop and get your supplies.
Our room overlooked the pool and pefkos and the view is stunning. Our room was basic but beautifully decorated with a very powerful shower and clean towels and linen when required. Katerina kept our room clean and replenished with all necessary things and was always happy and kind.
She is a wizard with towels art and dressed the room beautifully for both mine and my husband’s birthdays during our holiday. My husband had arranged a cake on my arrival and cold fizz in the fridge and I even had a rendition of happy birthday!
Poppy works very hard to make everyone welcome and she and Yanni make fabulous breakfasts with lots of choice. In fact, during our stay I don’t think I ever saw her sitting down! The pool area is very chilled and there are snacks available throughout the day and I to the evening. Poppy’s moussaka and meatballs are delicious by the way!
Pefkos view is a good base for visiting Lindos and nearby Lardos.
We have had a fantastic holiday here, and will take with us some magical memories.

Lovely clean apartment with fantastic views over Pefkos and the sea. Poppi, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. She goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay and is very attentive. We enjoyed every meal, having breakfast and lunch most days. We were able to keep our room on the last day for a reasonable charge. All of the staff are friendly and we had a lovely holiday. I have seen some reviews criticising the staff for moving them certain sunbeds. Let me just comment on this. The general sun beds are for any guest to use. The double sun beds (like a four poster) are designated to guests who have a superior room. They come as part of the package when you book one of those rooms. Overall a lovely place and we will be going back again.
