We’d been advised that maid service was, at best, sporadic before we even got here, but we really did have to request maid service during our stay. And we didn’t receive any on our last day because (as the lady on reception told me) “the maids are busy getting ready for new guests and they go home in an hour”. Not good enough.

Reception offer beach towels for a €20 deposit, but when we took them back at the end of the first day (covered in sun cream, sand and sweat) we were told we had to keep them for the whole week!! The staff tried explaining it had something to do with COVID, which made no sense to me whatsoever. I refused to keep the towels and asked for a refund of the deposit. We did that ever day to ensure fresh beach towels.

There were 2 reception staff there for the week we stayed. Both were friendly but the guy was far more on the ball than the young lady who looked petrified every time we requested something.

On arrival we wanted water, only to be told there’s no bottled water on site. Only tap/local, which we weren’t prepared to risk. So I had a coke which was cheap, flat pop - not the real thing. Disappointing when you’ve paid for all inclusive. Breakfast was cold and the orange juice was cheap squash - not freshly squeezed as you’d expect from a 4star hotel. We never ate at the hotel again.

The hotel has an ants problem, which can’t be helped, but one evening there were 5 or 6 running all over my bed. This just exacerbated the need for daily cleaning in all rooms.

One evening we had no hot water so had to get ready for dinner in cold showers. There was no engineer available so we had to wait 24 hrs for it to be fixed. No apology or gesture of goodwill was offered.

The rooms themselves are modern and bright and definitely up to 4 star standards. But you could pay for room only for the same standard and save yourself a fortune as we didn’t utilise any of the all inclusive options as everything was so sub-standard.

Our first holiday abroad in 2yrs, and what a great one it was! The staff in the hotel were all very pleasant and safety conscious. From check in where we had our temperature checked, to meal times where disposable gloves were worn by all while using the serving spoons, to the wearing of masks in the hotel and hand sanitiser throughout the hotel - all COVID protocols were followed but not in an excessive way.
The food was beautiful and varied - a credit to Chef Konstantine. The waiting staff were very friendly, always smiling and giving us tips on where to visit on the island & local greek culture. A shout out specifically to Vasille.
The reception staff Ellie & Maria were very informative on the area & helped us source bike hire and info on buses.
The "fitness suite" was a very small room with treadmill, bike, multi cable machine, workout mat, swiss ball , bench and resistance band. This had to be booked in advance, but I'd say that was in place even before covid, as you couldn't fit more than 2 ppl in there. I think this area would be much more effective as a gym if they got rid of the multi cable machine and had a rack of dumbbells instead.
Our Air Con wasn't working on the first day, but once we notified reception the maintenance guy was in our room & had it fixed by midday.
The towel hire for the pool is something that needs to be reviewed. At present you pay 10 Euro deposit per towel for the week, which means you're using the same towel for the whole week. A much better arrangement I've seen in other hotels is to pay 10 Euro deposit for the towel card & receive fresh towels everyday in exchange for your towel card. Most likely the arrangement here is to reduce laundry costs.
The pool was lovely. Pool bar staff were very friendly accommodating. There was a variety of cocktails to choose from, along with local beer, wine and spirits. The coffee in the hotel was very nice too, with a variety of herbal teas to choose from. The food available at the pool bar could be improved - Sandwiches or pizza & chips. Saying that, if you waited a couple of hours you could have a great lunch or dinner in the main restaurant!
We would definitely like to return to Rhodes in the future and would be more than happy to return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Good bits. = The hotel is clean rooms are fresh and the staff work tireless in fact very hard , it’s good location 5 mins walk from the beach and very relaxing atmosphere George the pool bar man is absolute class great guy made our holiday bad points there’s no entertainment on a evening except YouTube played out the pool bar speakers which is absolutely shocking Eastern European head banging crap which I think is a ploy to get you away from the hotel pool bar to find entertainment elsewhere with it being all inclusive obviously trying to save a few quid ,the hotel bed is only open 11pm till 1am which is at at cost 😡 food is ok but is in a very small area and not a great deal on offer several times we had to ask if there was bread sugar milk etc you do genuinely feel like your been limited with the meat as the chef only put out a small amount at a time the restaurant isn’t very punctual either the few British that was at the hotel often saw eating out in various other restaurants ,WiFi what WiFi just forget that one lol , in my opinion the hotel head staff favoured the Eastern Europeans including the manger never once saw him stand and have a conversation with a British holidaymaker definitely not 4 star nor worth all inclusive price list lovely little hotel for a self catering holiday Only such as shame as it as so much more potential if operating properly.

Myself and my partner stayed for one week from the 6th of May. The hotel is in an amazing location for getting to the town, shops, restaurants and the beach. There was a bus stop just outside the hotel and a taxi rank in the town making it extremely easy to get around Rhodes and explore. Everyone speaks great English.

The hotel itself was beautiful, interior and exterior were lovely and clean. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The rooms were also cleaned everyday with toiletries supplied. The waiting staff, bar staff, particularly the staff at the pool bar and the maintenance team were lovey, friendly and helpful. Our aircon did not work on our first night but the maintenance team came out the next morning and it was fixed.

However we booked an all inclusive package and we were left disappointed with what was on offer. The food was extremely repetitive, there was a lack of vegatarian/vegan, some foods had labels and others didn't. By the end of day one we had tried everything and it became slightly boring to go to the buffet. There were no other food options or restaurants at the hotel so we spent more money than planned getting meals out to avoid constantly eating the same things. Food was left in our room as we arrived late which was a lovely touch however the bread was dry and moldy. The pool snack bar offered a few options in a food cabinet such as sausage rolls but again this was limited, usually left over from the night before and vegatarian options were limited sometime even none. Not the type of all inclusive snack/pool bar you would expect.

Our hotel room had no WiFi. The signal would not reach us in block 8. The noise from other rooms is loud. We luckily didn't have anyone next to us until the end of our stay but the loud music and arguing late at night was not enjoyable.

There is also a lack of information provided by the hotel. We tried to order a lunch box as we were leaving the hotel for the day but informed there was a cut of time to order this. (which was not on the leaflet) no info on how to get around unless asked. We ended up finding a map by the bus stop outside which was really helpful. No info on how things work in the room, how to ring reception or use the room phone. The photos advertised of the beach steps are not at this location. The walk to the beach was easy however the steps are in between a restaurant and lead to a busy area of the beach. The sunbeds in the photos are not there. We would recommend walking along to the other side of the beach to the section of sunbeds that are privately owned by a restaurant. These were €12 for two for the day, amazingly comfy with WiFi and waiter service for drinks/food.

While we enjoyed our stay due to the location we were left disappointed with the all inclusive options and do not feel it is to the same standard as other 4* hotels we have stayed in. We would not return.

We stayed at the white Olive Premium mid to end of June, The hotel location is great 5 min walk to the bars/ restaurants, and s 5 min walk to the beach.
The food in the hotel was your typical all inclusive Greek style always something to choose from, we are here probably 10 out of 14 nights as we like to eat in the restaurants.
Georgia was always friendly and handing out highly 5’s.

There were always sunbeds a available around the pool

Olga and Rashid on the pool bar are always happy and helpful, there is a small selections of snacks in between meals from the pool bar.

The rooms are cleaned daily plenty big enough and decent size balcony’s, we had a room on the second floor of block 8 which had a beautiful view.

Would definitely stay here again if we where to return to Pefkos

Thank you

The Hotel is new and in a good location for the beach, a quieter area away from the towns nightlife.
The Hotel is clean and new, air con is good but is experiencing issues due to covid 19 particularly in the restaurant. The staff in there are excellent by the way and coping with a system that is in place which makes service difficult in peak times.
The food is varied but difficult to communicate exactly what you want to the chef who looks like he doesnt want to serve customers.
Reception is basic and the bar is closed down there so you can only get drinks in plastic cups by the pool.
The pool area has a set of rules and none of them seemed to be adhered to. There was people in the pool until midnight and the place can be full of inflatables.
All in all the Hotel has mainly polish guests and being all inclusive this suits them.
Most of the Staff are great but I think this hotel is not geared up for the British.

Thanks for your feedback. This season is special to all of us in many ways. As a hotel, we make every effort to ensure that our guests' stay is safe and comfortable, despite the need to introduce certain restrictions and modifications to the services we offer. This is the first year of our operation in Rhodes, we have opened the hotel after a major renovation. We hope to welcome guests from all over the world to our hotel, including of course the UK.

I’m going to sound like a very miserable person but for the price we paid I wouldn’t recommend this to friends nor family.

The hotel is very modern, clean and is a comfy stay how everyone that’s where it ends.

The hotel offers no entertainment which may be good for people looking for a more quieter venue but for us it made the all inclusive side seem like a bit of a waste. There could easily be space for entertainment if they chose to do so.

The pool bar is only open until 11 and is mainly self serve unless you require ice cream or cocktails. The cocktails seemed watered down and the beer was the cheapest of cheap. After 11pm another bar does open however this bar requires payment per drink and when speaking to the barman he advices this is where they sell the “ proper alcohol “ ( Smirnoff / jack Daniels ) so the alcohol that has taste and a kick.

The pool is a fairly ok size however loungers are minimal, if you’re not up first thing you won’t be having a lounger for the day meaning you can either sit by the bar in a chair or go out to the beach which is only a 5 minute walk which was nice however this does mean you’ll miss out on the all inclusive drinks,

The restaurant is very clean with loads of seating however the food options is very very small variety.
There is a dress code requirement on a board however this isn’t followed and was confusing on our first night when we saw the dress code returned to our hotel room to change into clothes fitting this code to find not one person has followed it and no one even enforces it.

Overall this hotel would be a decent hotel if it was self catering but for someone who has stayed in multiple all inclusive hotels you can most definitely find better value for your money.

The rooms are extremely clean and comfy we did have only one problem which was the shower kicks up a nasty smell when in use and if you use the shower to high you can flood your room as we learnt so be careful.

Dear Connor J, thank you for your opinion. We would like to inform you that our hotel is a boutique hotel which is a small hotel with 97 rooms and beautiful garden. Many of our guests choose our hotel, hoping that we will meet a mass all-inclusive service with loud animations, huge swimming pool and a thousand sunbeds. We are not such a resort, our hotel is dedicated to mature tourists who want to relax and explore the island. Hospitality is our passion, in White Olive Hotels we do our best to meet expectations of our guests and offer them the highest quality services that we would like to receive as customers. We are not considering purchasing more sunbeds so far. Regards, Team White Olive Hotels

We stayed at the White Olive in June 2022. Although in its name it states the hotel is in Lindos, I would say that it is more based in Pefkos, which is a brilliant resort, ideal for beach holidays for couples and families alike. It is centred around some lovely restaurants and bars which have a wide variety of entertainment. Lindos is around 5km away, and a taxi one way was €9, making this hotel affordable, but well placed to enjoy the history and beauty that Lindos has to offer.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and it was easy to get a sun bed each day by the pool without having to wake up ridiculously early. The staff work tirelessly to make sure that your stay is top notch, nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely room with a large, comfortable double bed and a balcony with sea view overlooking the sea. We did pay extra for this room, however it is worth noting that the sea is quite far away in the distance, but still visible. Our flight out of Leeds Bradford was delayed, meaning we arrived at 03.30am, yet the staff had ensured that we had plates of sandwiches and snacks to ensure we didn't go hungry, which I thought was a really nice touch.
The food was good, particularly the breakfast, I would say that it can become a little repetitive if you are eating there all the time. You must also arrive to the sitting early, as they tend not to replenish the food toward the end. However we quite often went out for lunch or dinner, so this wasn't an issue. Also, as a vegetarian it would be good if these options were more clearly labelled, I ate a pasta sauce which I believed to be meat free, however it did have meat in it. Having said that, it does say in the room leaflet to make your dietary requirements known to the chefs, so it was probably my fault!! The all inclusive bar serves a range of cocktails served by a charismatic barman who is very kind to the guests. Beer, wine and soft drinks are self service till 11pm then you can buy drinks from the lobby bar till around 1am. The hotel has a distinctly European feel, with guests from the UK, Poland and Germany, which I enjoyed very much. All in all a good hotel and I would not hesitate to return.

We visited late June to early July 2022. First impressions were very good. A nice ground floor room, boutique style with a double + a single bed and a good size bathroom. Lovely fresh crisp linen on the beds and everything was new.
The pool area was adequate, although with about 70 beds for up to 200 guests space was limited so you had to be quick to get your spot. The lounges were a bit dated and could do with being replaced.
Limited staff availability meant you were relying on guests to keep the place tidy and manage disposal of their own rubbish. The pool bar was mainly self service with a good selection of fizzy drinks water and local beer however George was on hand to serve ice, cocktails and snacks including ice cream.
Meal times in the restaurant three times a day were self service buffet style with a good variation of local and international foods. The staff were good at turning round tables and it never seemed too busy.
Generally I found the hotel to be very good, however my garden view was disappointing as the garden was non existent. There’s a few things need finishing off but these are mainly decorative and landscaping and some fencing.
Location was good with a ten minute walk to Pefkos and only five minutes to the bus stop if you wanted to travel the fifteen minutes into Lindos itself.

Hi Sarah, There’s a self service bar area with a soft drink machine offering cola, orangeade, lemon and lime etc, this also has a water tap, there’s also a juice machine with apple and orange juice. There’s a coffee machine offering the usual latte, cappuccino etc and a wide selection of tea’s. There’s chilled wine on tap for you to help yourself, white, rose and red, there’s local beer on tap as well, At the bar they have local spirits and can make you cocktails, I didn’t try them but some guests were enjoying them, There’s the same setup in the dining room but without the spirits, Hope this has been helpful. Kind Regards Carl.
