It was great to return and be remembered. The staff is great ! Caring and attentive without being intrusive. South Gap is CLEAN! That’s very important to me.Has limited menu, but then doesn’t every small restaurant. I have only great things to say about the whole experience. Will not call out staff by name because I’m sure I’ll leave someone out but they know who they are. , if not I’ll remind them next year.

I stayed at South Gap the week of July 16, 2022. Check In was smooth, staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant, the pool and location was perfect during my visit. The view from the room (well all the rooms) are outstanding. The hotel is clean. The location of the hotel has alot of night action so it can get noisy but you are on vacation so let nothing bother you. Special shout out to Avery!! He was literally every day and night and did every job. Lol!!! He definitely made a positive lasting impression. And I cannot forget Haneith (spelling) who was always helpful and friendly. Thank you to all the staff (especially the bartenders) for making my stay so memorable. I HIGHLY recommend and would definitely stay here again

Booked this for a wee sunny escape from a dreich November in Scotland. Our highlights included being welcomed warmly from all staff every day and everywhere was spotlessly clean and well finished. Large airy bedroom with lots of storage and having the kitchen facilities with fridge was a bonus. All the food and drinks we sampled were delicious and a day round the pool was lovely and relaxing with comfy loungers - they did need more cushions though! Fantastic Central location with a beach within 10 walk either side and lots of restaurants and bars and mini mart make this a perfect base for our escape to the sun ☀️ we’ll definitely be back! 👍🏻

OMG. I can’t say enough about this hotel and its staff. My husband and I went for an after anniversary getaway and we had the best time. South Gap staff Kadeem, Alisha, Nia, Lana, Glenda, Roland, and Amaul Williams were helpful, full of great ideas, accommodating and fun to talk to. The location is perfect. The breakfast and drinks were delicious. We already booked to go back in August for Cropover and stay here again. So hoping I can get the same room again Thank you South Gap for a wonderful time

Wow wow wow ! This hotel is outstanding, from the moment you check in to the moment you check out all staff offer superb service, happy & friendly. Accommodation & facilities excellent. View to die for can’t wait to visit again next year, most definitely our favourite hotel in Barbados.

The room was nice but that sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Pool is small but adequate as hotel is only 22 rooms. You can eat out make makes in the room as it has a kitchenette. Overall a great experience

In a nutshell ’South Gap’ is a great little hotel, which sits right on the edge of the ocean with fabulous views… you can even spot the odd turtle. Although the hotel doesn’t have direct access to the beach both Dover and Worthing beaches (the later great for swimming with turtles) are a short walk. We found the hotel spotlessly clean and overseen by a fab house keeping team. The bar staff are super friendly serving great food and even better cocktails. On the front desk is the most loveliest receptionist ‘Laila’ who welcomed us, remembered our names, sorted out our car problems and helped us above and beyond so a huge shout out for her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We understand Lawrence Gap is a lively area, but the only downside to our stay was the awlful karaoke bar opposite and a pity they don’t tone it down past midnight. …

It’s very convenient location wise. It’s in the heart of all things cooking and popping on the gap…. Downfalls, there’s no wrobes lol and I had to take my own luggage down the stairs after checking in… (it’s down some stairs because we got a junior suite)… other than that’s it’s okay, clean. Chilled, amazing pool view… but nothing much to do on here besides eat or sleep.

This is a fabulous small and super friendly hotel. Incredible views, amazing staff, good food and cocktails. Housekeeping are great, everyone friendly and helpful. The only downside is the karaoke bar across the street. Even with earplugs it was a struggle to sleep due to their noise.

I stayed there for 1 night the restaurant staffs are lovely, helpful, pleasant if something isn't right they will be there to make sure you're good. The rooms clean will recommend it to anyone and you can see the sea and hear the waves.
