The Hotel - General Its ok, a bit dated but all the public areas are pretty clean and tidy. The Food I am not a fussy eater and I am not a snob but the food isn't great at all especially in comparison to what I have had at similarly priced all inclusive in the Caribbean. I would like to...

We returned to this Hotel in Paradise on the 1st Oct. for the fifth time in succession, so THAT says SOMETHING about the place! It is so good to see the reactions from all the fantastic friends we have made amongst the staff over the years. Unlike the person in a review posted a few days ago,(who must have been...

Last year we stayed at Melia Las Dunas in Santa Maria (highly recomended) and as a result of having such a fantastic holiday we opted to visit Cuba again. We were on a two week hoiday and had nothing but problems. Firstly our original room was extremely dated and unclean and in the first four days we had to get...

If you want to relax and enjoy a laid back holiday, have a few laughs over a cocktail ( ask for a Dangerous Darren at the rum bar ) and enjoy warm hospitality then this is the place. If you want tacky shops, full english breakfasts and Tetleys Bitter then you should think about Benidorm. If you expect all your...

Do not believe anything people have said about this Hotel (the wingers that is). The room was spot on apart from a little rain got in one night due to a cold front (rained during...

This was our second trip to Cuba, sun sea and sand was the order of the day as our previous trip was a sight seeing one. The T/Cook reps Hecter and Ivan are superb and the staff helpful and attentive.....But.....this hotel is definetly not a four star, the bungalows are ok inside but resemble a butlins camp from the 60s,...

Just returned from Sol Cayo Guillermo and can say we had a great stay. We had a nice room with a sea view. The room had everything you could need, a fridge,tv, air conditioning. Our room was always cleaned and the maid would always leave swans made from our towels! The food in the buffet restaurant was good, you always...

We went in october to Cuba, we stayed at SOL Cayo Guillermo Hotel. Thomas Cook organised the holiday, PERFECTLY AGAIN! Weather was perfect, no rain no clouds for a week! Food was delicious! Scenery is absolutely out of this world! Staff are friendly and kind. Excursions are great but not included in the price! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
