With 100 EUR for a room for 3, we basically got what was expected. The building's been there for centuries and visited by Napoleon's and Roman troops. Walls are made of stone but floor structures of wood, so walking will cause noises. Also the Place is in a faily busy street corner, so traffic disturbed the sleep somewhat. No aircon,...

This hotel is a few minutes' walk from the Rotholz stop on the Zillertalbahn from Jenbach, which means it is quite easy to get to without a car. The Zillertalnahn also provides good access to Mayrhofen. The hotel was in a quiet area, with good outside space and both an indoor and outdoor pool. Evening meals are available and breakfast...

I think it is a place with that real Tirol-style and history as it has been in the current owners possession 280 years. The old furniture and pictures in the hotel tells its story. The owners are at a present and the welcome was very warm (and the leave also). Our room was nice, bright and spacious, bed very comfy...

I got very friendly service (in english). Large rooms and not expensive. Yes furniture looks like outdated, but it's clean and comfortable. Becareful, when there are a lot of snow - it can be not so easy to start driving on the morning. Recomended ! definitely!

Very nice and friendly atmosphere in this old style Tyrolean gasthof. Must visit to enjoy a very quiet relaxing stay in their swimming pools (outside and inside) or in the fresh bier garten at night. The Restaurant needs to be mentioned for the quality and variety of the dishes well prepared and tasty. They also distill their own "schnaps", which...

The place has a sign saying it has been serving customers since 1518 and it shows. Everything is old and creaky, front desk manages the hotel by manipulating tons of paperwork - even the invoice is handwritten. Reception is great, these people really make you feel very welcome. Rooms are large and comfy but the furnishings fit the overall style...

A really charming and very friendly little hotel. My friend and I turned up after a rather wet day cycling up the Inn Valley (an excellent and well signposted track), but were welcomed warmly at the Esterhammer, a few hundred yards from the river. The hotel is partly housed in a very old building which has lots of interesting features....

Everything was great about this hotel, starting with the charming lady who picked us up at the Jenbach station. (The hotel offers a free pickup from and return to Jenbach station) The hotel is a family business, and they care about every detail. We were made very welcome by the owners, our room was lovely with a gorgeous view, and...
