Firstly i owe a massive thankyou to, Panos, Andreas, Elly, Spiridould & George. Me and my Fiancée were absolutely blown away by the Hospitality they all provided.

Villa (accommodation) - We stayed in the villa overlooking the central bar/swimming pool area, the villa itself was very clean and modern with a private pool and loungers, it looks slightly exposed from the outside but once up there it is very private with direct sunlight from early am-6pm tanning heaven, the cleaners also were absolutely amazing.
(only con from an elevated position you can hear the Oasis hotel next door music some nights)

Pool Bar/Restaurant - Once again very impressed, the hosts at the bar Andreas and Panos made me feel more comfortable than back in the UK, they are full of advice for anything you need locally and give 110% to their customers and their profession, the cocktails are good and my stomach still hurts from all the laughing and joking.

poolside area is very clean, plenty of loungers, private beds, and seating, big pool nothing to complain about.(mostly used private pool and sea)

The restaurant has amazing views of the Ionian sea and Albanian mountains make sure you go when the sun sets, The food was very nice, hot & freshly cooked, the waiting staff were lovely and polite(full of smiles), Elly and Spiridould made us feel really comfortable.

Private beach area is serene, amazing views, crystal clear water, very calm sea near to no waves, i do advise taking sea shoes as there are a lot of pebbles and the odd sea urchin (tucked deep in the rocks though), if you like snorkelling you will love the location (Coral/Various local fish/urchins/starfish) nice shallows for kids to learn.
(only con is the steps are quite tiring and steep to the beach elderly may struggle)

Reception staff are brilliant, George really went out of his way to help us with anything we need, any tiny problem he was straight on it, even if i did loose my lighter at 1am.

Just outside the hotel there are the bus stops for each direction, local shops, vehicle hire, trip/tour hire so getting around the island from this location is very easy, restaurant's are a short walk away, Nisos and the on location restaurant are my recommendations.
(only con lack of pavements, be careful when walking on the roadside, locals are hyper aware of pedestrians when driving so you will be safe with normal road sense)

We cannot wait for our next holiday there and will be booking again very soon, when the roof bar/water sports arrive we will need to ask trip advisor to add a 6* rating, once again thankyou to all staff. Tom & Kat

Just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous hotel. We booked a villa room with a private pool, and I was not disappointed. The pool was larger than expected, the room was perfect. Our room was cleaned twice a day, an abundance of towels and fresh water every day. The bathroom had twin sinks, and a shower room designed for two to shower at the same time … perfect for couples. However, I was on vacation with my 15 year old daughter, so not so useful for us! The bed was large and very comfortable, TV enormous (though it was not used by us), very comfortable sitting area, lots of storage and a sink area, with wine cooler. We had a problem with the wine cooler and within the hour the cooler was fixed.
The staff at this hotel were amazing. The maintenance staff, very friendly and were always on site, reception very efficient, cleaners exceptional. The bar is open from midday to midnight and offers exceptional cocktails. Possibly the snack menu could have a wider choice, but the pizzas and burgers are exceptional. The barman on the evening was lovely, very friendly and approachable and made the best cocktails.
The breakfast offers a very wide choice and caters for everyone. We had the evening meal on several occasions and the choice was also good. The view from the restaurant is exceptional and looks over the Ionian Sea.
This hotel is on the flight path, but it didn’t spoil our vacation in any way.
If you like to get out and about, you will need a mode of transport … there is a car/moped hire opposite the hotel.
There is a lovely taverna about 5 mins walk, on exit of the hotel turn right and walk 5 mins, you’ll easily find it on the left.
There is no beach, but the hotel has its own private decking area, with direct access to the sea. However, if you want a Sandy beach, then this hotel is not for you.
All in all, this hotel is a perfect choice for couples wanting to relax and chill and I’d recommend booking a villa room with own pool.

Seems like a family run business with a lovely kind team team supporting their beautiful hospitality.
Special mention to Ovidia who takes so much pride in ensuring each room she works with is always reset and dressed like the very first day.
Great Hospitality overall, great location, good food choices to enjoy local foods and appreciate the local culture. The whole team work extremely hards to make sure each guest has the best experience.
We visited on our 10 Year Anniversary a selection of gifts where prepared for our arrival. Beautiful gesture.
The whole venue is kept very clean and tidy and presents just as well as the photographs portray.
Family pool, individual pools with villas, infinity pool, roof top terrace all clean and well maintained.
Highly recommend for couples breaks and retreats from the hussle and bustle of city life. Albeit old town Corfu is only 20 mins if you miss that. Old Town is also a beautiful traditional place full of culture.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Absolutely spotless, beautiful scenery, friendly atmosphere, extremely helpful staff and the perfect location.
On arrival, we were so welcomed when checking in. The staff went above and beyond for our stay, upgrading us to the most fabulous villa on the hotel grounds. The room service and housekeeping team and the maintenance guys were exceptional!!!
The pool area was such a calm & chill atmosphere! You’d spend the day there, so much seats and beddings with a lovely bar menu to choose from!
The hotel beach, was just beautiful. Pleanty of space and the use of water boards with paddles to go out into the sea was so much fun!! Again the scenery was amazing!
Breakfast was great - a huge variety and the coffee was nice too. The pool bar menu was lovely aswell and had a good variety to choose from all at a reasonable price!
As for location! I thought it was ideal. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that brings you directly to Corfu old town for only €1.50 and it’s about a 15 minute drive (not even!) it also goes the opposite direction to a lovely little town called Benesis only about 5 minutes away. Lovely beach, shops and restaurants there too! Buses are really frequent too.
On check out we asked could we leave our bags at the hotel for the day as our flight home was late that night. Of course that was no problem, however, I was shocked to be offered a complimentary room for 30 minutes before we headed to the airport to recharge, shower and rest. Aswell as full use of the hotels amenities for the day. I thought this was a great idea as usually with some hotels once your checked out your not there problem.
I stayed here with my partner ( both in our 20s) it’s been one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in abroad, beyond relaxing and felt very safe! I couldnt recommend this hotel more, I will definitely be back in the future and I can’t wait! Thanks again to all the staff who made our stay so special!

We ( my daughter and I) have just returned from The Ray Hotel in Perema, after reading mixed reviews (mostly good) I was not quite sure what to expect.
However we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless with the most amazing views and sunrises!
We had a room on the 4th floor which was quiet and easy to get to by stairs and lift.
There are a few steep steps which lead from the dining area to the decking overlooking the sea but definitely worth getting up early for to get your spot to see the sun rise. Absolute bliss.
Yes there are a few planes as you are close to the airport but nothing that would really bother you, in fact it’s interesting to watch them coming in!
We had bed and breakfast and can honestly say it was one of the best buffet breakfasts we’d ever had.
The pool area is clean but fairly small and the only thing they could improve on would be to add some more parasols - not too many shaded areas which we could have done with when it was middle of the day. Great cocktails at the pool bar and the lunch time menu is excellent and reasonable.
The restaurants in Perama are not the best and you are on a main road (which is quite dangerous to walk along as not all of it has a pavement) however we walked across the bridge near the runway to Kanoni to Flisvos Seaside restaurant & also Skyview which were both excellent. There is also a great and regular bus service running both ways out of the village, one way is 15 mins into Corfu town ( about 2€ each way) and the other way about 10 mins into Benitsis.
We did this a few times and can recommend Paxinos restUrNt in Benitses- Corfo Old Town you are spoilt for choice, very pretty and pleasant to walk around at night.
All in all a great week, lovely and very helpful staff, would definitely go back

My husband and I booked a short stay at this hotel for his birthday and first holiday without our children. We thought for what we paid it would be basic and didn't really expect much. Because its a new hotel there wasn't many reviews to go by.
We arrived at the reception and the lovely girl behind the desk ( didn't catch her name) was so lovely and was extremely excited to tell us she had a surprise for us. She walked us up to our room. We were blown away when we seen this amazing room ( penthouse suit) we did not book this room. Because it was my husbands 40th birthday the hotel upgraded us for free!!! It was unbelievable. The views were out of this world.
Breakfast was lovely and of high quality with plenty to choice.
The room was cleaned daily and water put in fridge.
The hotel is very secluded but there is a bus stop right outside which takes you to corfu town for 1.50€ if you buy tickets from the supermarket right next to the bus stop.
There was families there but I definitely think this hotel is more suited for couples as there is nothing for children apart from the small pool.
This was my first visit to corfu and I was very impressed. Everyone at the hotel and outside of hotel were really friendly. I would highly recommend.

Our week got off to a great start when reception gave us a free upgrade to a junior suite rather than a land view room.

The pool area is lovely, very relaxed, quiet ambient music and a variety of different types of loungers.

We spent a few days on the private beach, which is a decked area and adjacent stony beach. It was never difficult to get loungers down there, and although there's no bar down there and it's 105 steps, there is a short set of steps over the headland to the next hotel's beach which does have a snack bar. At the moment there are a few purple jellyfish around in the sea so be careful, they give a sting which is comparable to a hard whack with a bunch of nettles. I had a snorkel though so managed to avoid them after the first day.

Breakfast was amazing, such a wide variety, the best I've had anywhere. Evening buffet meal we only had on the last night and found it expensive compared to restaurants in the area and not much choice.

Within a few minutes walk (roads a bit scary as not many pavements) there's a wide variety of tavernas, all very relaxed, ranging from the snack bar type to those trading off the excellent sea views over to Mouse Island.

The airport is close so you do get planes passing over very low but it's fine as long as you're aware of that - personally I don't want to spend hours on a coach as soon as I get to the airport so I like staying in a nearby resort.

All the staff we meet were friendly and helpful.

The room was great, free toiletries, hairdryer, robes, slippers, flannels etc.

Dear Sunny, Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Ray Hotel and for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. We're thrilled to hear that your week got off to a great start with a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite, offering you a more delightful experience. It's fantastic to know that you enjoyed our lovely pool area, with its relaxed ambiance, quiet music, and a variety of loungers. We're glad that you were able to spend time on our private beach, which offers a decked area and adjacent stony beach. We apologize for the absence of a bar on the beach, but we're pleased to hear that there is a convenient alternative nearby. Your mention of the purple jellyfish is duly noted, and we appreciate your cautionary advice for other guests. We're glad you managed to avoid them after the first day and still enjoyed snorkeling. We're thrilled that our breakfast exceeded your expectations and offered a wide variety of choices. We regret that you found the evening buffet meal to be expensive compared to local restaurants and lacking in variety. Your feedback is important to us, and we will take it into consideration to improve our offerings. We understand that the proximity to the airport means planes may pass over the resort at low altitudes. We're glad that you were aware of this and that it didn't negatively impact your stay. As you mentioned, staying nearby saves valuable travel time, and we're happy to provide a convenient location for our guests. Thank you for your kind words regarding our friendly and helpful staff. We take pride in delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable stay. Lastly, we're delighted to hear that your room met your expectations, with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, robes, slippers, and flannels provided. It's our aim to make our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. Once again, we appreciate your feedback, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Melina Ioannidou Hoel Manager

Can’t recommend enough. The hotel is brand new and it shows, the rooms are beautiful and the view is unmatched. It gives very new style ‘Instagram’ vibes.
The staff are absolutely amazing, all work so hard and they couldn’t do enough for us. Would like to say Thankyou especially to the receptionists who even let us use their personal phone chargers when we forgot ours.

The bar is full of good options and is usually open till around 1/2am but will open later if you’re still around drinking.

The breakfast was lovely for a hotel, good variety and the room looks out onto the sea. Breakfast does get busy but you can always find a seat. Served till around 10:15.

Pool area is nice and spacious, and again although sometimes busy there’s no hustle and busstle to fight for beds like the usual hotel. There is direct access to the beach with beds too which is amazing.

You can walk either direction out of the hotel and get to bars and restaurants within 15mins. There is a bus right outside the hotel too. Along with a supermarket.

Also, if you’re a fan of aviation you’re in for an absolute treat as from the sea view rooms you have a direct view of the approach for the northerly runway in Corfu. Also about a 15-20 min walk away is the footbridge that’s just before the runway threshold.

In whole, wouldn’t have changed a thing and would come again in a heartbeat perfect for a nice relaxing getaway.

Thankyou again Ray hotel.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were spotless, we had a room with sea view, absolutely stunning. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff if you needed anything. The cleaners popped in every morning and made the beds and left clean towels in the bathroom. The dining hall was fab, the selection of food in the morning was unbelievable, and dinner service was fab. Something different everyday. The waitresses were lovely and friendly, and enjoyed chatting with you. The pool area and bar was fab as well, I'm running out of words because I fell in love with the place. It's an absolute paradise with gorgeous views. Even the planes that go past every 15 minutes , ( on the main flight path) was great to watch. When we were on the coach traveling from Corfu airport, we thought we had been sold a dud holiday, some of the surrounding were abit rundown. Pleasant surprise when we were dropped off. I absolutely recommend this lovely hotel. We will return. Hopefully have same room. 103. The Freshney's .

Terrible location. The hotel is situated only 3 km south from the airport and airplanes are literally flying back and forth all the time. The only time when one can sleep without being disturbed is between 12:00 am and 3:00 am since there are no flights during that period. Badly renovated, not only the rooms but the pool as well are much smaller than they look on the photos. There are 20 sun loungers on the beach compared to 51 hotel rooms so one has to compete with other guests in order to get a sun lounger early in the morning. The rooftop bar advertised on the website doesn’t even exist! The staff were not very polite. They booked us a transfer to the airport that never showed up and we almost missed our flight back. The music at the pool bar was very loud and the staff refused to stop it at 12:00 am because “the pool bar shuts at 1 am”!
